So as it has been answered many times, here's the txID : fa9ba39ddd493336d62752710ad12546aebff801f7518adb64426779a87edc66. I hope that the guy would still need it Undecided.

815 byte, 5k satoshi fee or 6 satoshi per byte, which puts you at the very low end of the queue[1]. No dust or other problems though. I will rebroadcast it every 30 minutes, let me know when its confirmed. If anyone else wants to help:

I always used this fee, even for bigger transaction, so this surprised me that today, it did not confirmed as fast as usually. By the way, thank you for your help Wink !

If you dont want to share the TX ID in order to give you a good estimate we need to know:
I'll wait for this, however I can state that there is a high chance of something artificial going on. There was also a small wave of unusually big transactions. (e.g. Block 399508). 11 out of the last 89 blocks were under 900 kb which is also unusual (if counted correctly).

10k backlog transactions?

It looks normal to me, what are you talking about?
Data taken in a small time-period tells us nothing. A few days ago the backlog was only 1k transactions. Shorena might have more data (from the past) on this. I recall them posting some charts or something.

Ya the person waiting to get the money would be worrying.
But you have to wait more hour i guess. Sometimes it happens but eventually transaction is complete.

Maybe you are doing transaction of a very high amount..

Hopefully he had a second way to contact me, so I kept him calm. No, I'm not sending a big amount, just a little 0,04BTC.

You really need to be careful with the nonsense[1] people post here for a few satoshi. Without a transaction ID or more information about the transaction every single post here (except for maybe the number of unconfirmed transactions) is speculation. If you dont want to share the TX ID in order to give you a good estimate we need to know:

#1 how much fee do you pay per byte
#2 whether any of the outputs are below 2730 satoshi (considered dust)
#3 which wallet do you use (some like core constantly rebroadcast the TX which helps)
#4 whether any of the inputs are unconfirmed.

If you share the TX ID I and others can help rebroadcasting it so the network does not forget about it. This can help with low fee transactions to some extend.

Trasanction time depends on how fast blockchain confirms your transaction.. And its pretty normal that you receive btc in 1-3hours delay and sometime just 1-3minutes delay ..

Blockchain does not confirm anything, neither the service blockchain.info nor the blockchain. Transaction time is instant with bitcoin, we are talking about confirmation times.

8 hours for now. I don't think that it is normal. That's pretty long, especially for the guy I lent my bitcoins to Undecided...

This happens from time to time.

Have you included sufficient fee? Maybe you should check whether your wallet is RBF enabled? I recently discovered that my android wallet allows to increase the fee after the tx is made (but only let you choose increase to fixed 0.001, which is a bit high).

I'm not really sure why so many people are experiencing problems with their transactions. Made a few today and they were all included in the first block after the transaction.

Just make sure the size is low for the amount you are sending and that you send a sufficiently large fee and you should be able to get it included in the next block.

Here's why: https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

AFAIK where not under any stress test at the moment and I also doubt that, the recent spike, have anything to do with the delay in confirmation of your transaction. Might help if you could post the transaction address so we could evaluate it properly.

It has been like this for quite some time, people making transactions now will pay a bigger fee than you and their transactions will confirm ahead of yours, this is no FIFO, you'll need to wait transaction volume goes down so backlog can be cleared, that can take days.

Sometimes it take around 24 hrs to get the transcation complete.
It can be due to network congestion.
You just wait for 24 to 36 hrs and your transaction will be completed.

I have a transacation which is pending since I sent it, at around 11:30 CET (UTC+1). Is this slowness related to the high current price, which make people transact more, or are we under another stress test ?
