Since everyone had Iphones a year back, I thought try something different from the crowd.
First phone was an Android (HTC ONE V) which I bought from my first salary. But androids lags very much.
Used it just for 5 months and sold it. Using mom's old Iphone 3GS that was lying around, far better in speed.
Not a Apple fanboy, but Apple is the original creator of this swipe format, rest everyone is copying them.

Windows phones are pretty fast too.

wow i thought that IOS was the way to go but after voting and seeing that android is bigger. why have u chosen android ??
Android is much better, more options when choosing a handset and much more customization is available.
Cyanogen mod makes it worth much more.

I'm doing this to gauge what type of mobile OS this hardcore bitcoin community uses. One assumption is Android. Open for geeks to tinker with. And just look at the market share... But I'd like to know what folks vote on here.

Sure I could have included Ubuntu FireFox OS and even some crazy shit like Windows Mobile or even more bizarre Navyn OS or whatever custom strip of gentoo you wish to compile. That's too nerdy for the topic.

I have the intention of developing a mobile app. Question is android or iOS first. I'm personally an iOS user.

The webapp will be the universal default of course. But native is nice and smooth.... Smiley

What type of app are you thinking of looking into?
