I like the fact that he disappeared and remained anonymous. It perfectly personifies the crypto-anarchic movement Bitcoin sprang from. If he came back it would ruin the mystic of what he created. Law 6 from Robert Greene's 48 Laws of power - Create an Air of Mystery.

The only thing Satoshi Nakamoto should do now is what his being doing at its best which is,

To stay or remain anonymous

Yes.. I totally agree with you. Because the only way bitcoin can remain decentralized, and free from government policies affecting it's value is equally the anonymity of it's founder Satoshi Nakamoto, which has already been done.

Because only had he been known, I bet you, you would have been hearing several countless number of court cases issue by both Federal, state and other bodies sueing Satoshi to court just like Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook and Instagram.

I think he has done nothing, his mission has been completed, and the rest should be left to the laws of natural development.

I also believe that he is smiling slightly in one place.

Tell me, what more should Satoshi do???

If Satoshi didn't left there will be lots of things that we don't know or just wanted him to add or fix then Bitcoin should become better in time but the fact that he/she left means there's a threat on their lives. If you are a long time user of Bitcoin you will know what should be fix and what should be added or remove.

It's just saddening to see some faketoshi taking advantage of his/her creation for their own personal gains. Well, whatever, as long as we are here to support Bitcoin I believe there will be some changes in the future.

What Satoshi might have done before he disappeared (if he planned that) is to somehow try to protect Bitcoin from people like Faketoshi (CW) or Roger Ver (Bitcoin Judas) and all those who have used Bitcoin for their personal gain, and they do so even today claiming that they are precisely him (Satoshi).

The name Bitcoin was supposed to be protected, as were domains like bitcoin. com that is spreading lies today about what real Bitcoin is and confuses people. Also, Satoshi had to sign a message from one address and make it public - so that it would be the only way to confirm his identity at any time in the future.

Last but not least, Satoshi should have chosen his associates a little better - because I think he decided to disappear because of some of them - otherwise, he would have ended up 2 meters underground or in a prison.

I think he did exactly enough for the people to benefit om the bitcoin privilege. Whether he shows up or not, could be a tremendous shocked to everyone.. His absence somehow make the world curios on why he left his creation. But did he actually left it, or silently building or contributing to bitcoin progress in secrecy. Who knows, Satoshi is so mysterious, Im also wondering what else he could add if his around.

Stack in my wallet.dat along with all his buddies.  Wink

More seriously addressing your question, we are all satoshi, and we owe it to ourselves to continue to try and change the world for the better even if it is inconvenient or may not benefit us as much as alternatives.  Remember that satoshi didn't create Bitcoin to get rich.  He knew his time was running out.  He wanted to change the world for the better.

I strongly advise it should maintain the constancy and standard legacy it created, it's not buying an expensive car that matters but how to maintain it to sustainability, it has attained the pyramid peak of success already but more effort to maintaining it is need.

Satoshi Nakamoto vanished for a good reason. One reason being  Coming back into the limelight will give the ammunition to attack Bitcoin. There's already rumours in the press about the identity of  Satoshi Nakamoto, they say he's either a Russian spy or a descendant of Pablo Escobar or a cult. Either way it's all bad news for Bitcoin. If the founder resurfaces, I can't imagine what politicians will do. They will find all sort of inhuman ways of make Satoshi shut the network down.
What More Should Satoshi Do?
Satoshi laid the foundation of Blockchain Database.
He went further to solving the problem of Double Spending in Digital Currency.
Then, he created a Bitcoin for all.
He did not end there, he removed the key to the currency from the hands of the powerful leaders of the world. Then, duplicated the key and handed over each spare to everyone.
Now, our fate in our hands to decide what to do with it.
Tell me, what more should Satoshi do???

He already did what he wants to do and his works are now universally recognized, he is the only modern inventor and innovator I've known that contributed a lot but his identity is unknown, and it made this technology better because a decentralized and anonymous based invention comes from a decentralize and anonymous personality, he already made it great by not doing anything more, so let's keep it that way.
He has passed the baton to us so we'll just make it better.
That's not how those in power see it. They see a threat to their power house. As soon as Satoshi steps out in the open, he will be called a terrorist and denied of his rights. The government is not going to welcome him with open arms. That's the dirty game of politics

Nothing. I was not aware he needs to do anything anymore. That's why he handed the reins over to the community he trusted, and now he has to let it go. Decentralization is the name of the game, and that goes for him being the figurehead of the whole movement, so it's best for all that he remains a secret.

To stay or remain anonymous

Satoshi has successfully confused the whole world up to this minute. His nature has been undefined by the world's intelligence. No one can tell if the entity Satoshi is a 'He' or 'She', a single individual or a body.

It makes me wonder how 9ne man got so smart in everything that, what he started 11years ago has been able to surpass even the current world intelligence and innovations that they can't really comprehend. That every step or attack on the system turns to provide support in some way.

Satoshi's anonymity is vital to the survival of bitcoin, this is all that is asked of Satoshi.

I was thinking differently that if Satoshi shows up, it will give more credibility to BTC, not until I saw @Bitmover post and this one. I now have a second thought.

From my concept as humans, i understand that cryptocurrency existence render help to fiat currencies via different countries, and it limit the loads of one side investment and focus, but via political group or government form of currency control, cryptocurrency help to stabilize the gravity or force of fiat currency with decentralized format, which everyone that obtain crypto have the access to control it's currency without involving third party, now fiat can be controlled because it's subject to government.

Who's Satoshi? Aren't we all? Satoshi Nakamoto made exactly what he/she envisioned and then left it so there'd be no main system boss. Clever thought, creating something so revolutionary as a “screw you” to the financial system and then leaving it to the hands of the throng, just like in V for Vendetta.

One thing I believe (s)he could have worked is the fungibility.

I am not certain if the anonymity is vital for the surviving of bitcoin but being anonymous gives bitcoin more value like to easily know by people that Satoshi is just the creator but not having any control over bitcoin. But what I suspect that is very important is the bitcoin allegedly mined buy Satoshi which is estimated today to worth billions of dollars should remain like that forever, it should not be moved to another address or spent, it should remain lost like that forever. Moving such bitcoin will be a big event that many people will sell their bitcoin which can cause significant crash more than the ones that could have occurs back in the past, though, just what I think.

I hope he keeps out of scenes, doing nothing. This is the best thing he can do to keep bitcoin decentralized.

If he ever decides to show up, he would become a bitcoin authority.  We don't need one, and we can't have one

I cannot think what more satoshi can do on the technical side. Like what we saw how bitcoin and blockchain have been operating almost perfectly despite he's not been with us for so many years. There's actually more that he can do along with his team if he has if he managed to stay. But I think bitcoin won't be the same as it is if he remained. I think it's all part of his plan that he has to leave and hide on the shadows until it becomes a mystery wherever he is right now.

I think Satoshi laid the groundwork but they have disappeared for whatever reason. They seem to have made an almost perfect form of digital currency - a sort of pioneering breakthrough like the telephone, the internet or inventions on that scale. It is time for the rest of the world to build on that and keep it as a currency rather than an asset to be hoarded forever. Maybe a max cap of 21 million was too low and it could have been a bit higher, like Dogecoin that originally had 128 billion in circulation.

One thing that might be required by any future cryptocurrency to prevent the eventual quantum-cracking attacks in future decades would be 2-factor authentication. Some way to have a secondary unknown and unconnected device/method that can receive a verification code in order to unlock a wallet. If it had an increasing time delay for every failed attempt and possibly warning to the owner it could prevent lots of hypothetical hacks.
