So you bought high and sold low? That's the literal opposite of what you are supposed to do. Also Tron is plagiarised vaporware.

Just hold it and do nothing is not an option

It absolutely is an option, and given your history of terrible decisions, I would suggest it is the best option until you learn about crypto and learn some patience.
Yeah wait until you will be clear that you have enough knowledge about bitcoin selling time, if you are conform about it only then sell it, but the first option that you should use is the patience for sure, if you will hold your bitcoin for long time then it will increase your profit and you will not get lose, patience is the key of success in crypto currency, if in history you had some good or bad experience then you should learn from it for your better future experience.

It is a good attitude, what is done is done. Cos so many people are companing for ages after every single wrong step, lol. You are my hero.
Actually that's the basic tips for those who have investments on crypto, which is must wait for the uptrend before sell off don't so hasty for the sake of your money, and indeed gaining profits on crypto is not easy and it takes year or months depends on the circumstances of the market.  So put some patience just relax and wait for the right time to sell.

People lose patience and become anxious mostly because they're looking for short term profits. They're putting in money they can't hold for a long time so disappointment easily kicks in when a red market comes up. It can be avoided of course if you're well aware of what you're supposed to do

Take note this:  dump is a part of crypto currency, dont sell in this part better to buy more.  Buy low sell high. Dont buy when pump there is a possibility dump is next.

it is all about timing when it comes to trading pump and dump altcoins.
even if you buy in the pump you can make a lot of profit still. but you will have to act very fast. there are stages to every pump and dump. the first stage is when price doesn't move much but the smart money (the pumpers) are investing then it is the first rise where the initial investors pump the coin. if you buy in any of these two you will make the most profit. the next stage is when the newbies rush in. in this phase you can still make profit but much smaller with a bigger risk. then it will all be dumping stages: first big dump for smart money to exit, dead cat bounce, newbies burning and dumping again, another dead cat bounce and continued dump.

I got in at the all time high in Jan. lost half on most coins, and panic sold 2 weeks ago with portfolio underwater 40-50%; now all coins are coming back at least 20-30%;

What's done is done, can't go back time to change it...my question is what to do now? Even after the loss, still have some coins left and wondering what to do with them...

Just hold it and do nothing is not an option because cost basis is too high. Need to find the next ONT etc - Willing to consider anything including ICOs (either NEO-based ICOs or ether-based ICOs).

We arent emotionally prepared for that dip on January. Everybody who sell on a loss must not care whatever the current price is. We don't need doubts on ourselves specifically on the trades we've made. We need confidence and decisions that whatever might happen, we don't regret. Man up. See you on the moon.

Best thing to do at this moment is to wait for more further movements of the coin and you should learn for past mistake so that you may had an idea on how to gain by your next buy. But it seems that there is a good thing to be happen by now so maybe its best for you to get a stock of your love potential alts so that you can earn when crypto rally will came o future and don't get easily affected on those bad flaws since all of them are pretty normal.

hate to lose money - was hoping for tips on the next coin/tokens with 10x potential or porjects...but thx for every1 chime in
go check and read about Bitcore BTX, it's nearing the end of distribution stage
[ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin- 8% Airdrop every week
Bitcore has potential and many people seem to believe it has bright future ahead
as we finished distribution, there is a big chance for price pumps (possible dumps too Grin)
afterward the only way to get Bitcore is by mining which will affect its market price

Now that Bitcoin is getting higher its time for you to recover your profit loss. Maybe you've already learn from your mistake, but we can't blame you on the wrong decision that you've done cause even everyone if they can't take the profit loss they would end up cutting the nuts just to save their profit. But now it getting back again, wait until you recover all your losses then set a price which you think you already gain so that you can easily make a decision.

You realised one important thing that most people do not and that is that the past is done and there's no use dwelling on it and other than from an informative point of view it should have no bearing on the future. Consider your expectations for the future price and make a decision based on where we are at today. I would say to hold and potentially invest further but consider what you feel is best.

What's next? You stop looking at crypto and don't take on even more risk in an attempt to regain losses. It doesn't look like you have the mentality to be trading bitcoin, you're going to be losing money left and right if you go with fomo and then panic all the time.

Crypto is not the place for this, you're going to have to sustain losses if you want to make some money here. s

Oh.... You went in when the whales and dolphins where already going to bed and you were left with the sharks - is unfortunate.

On a serious note , I guess ONT is now the envy of most investors but you don't have to sell what is remaining from your wallet to buy into it. Hodl what you have and if you have money, you can into ONT. Good luck.

Why so many people lost their funds in crypto? Not just because they don't want to learn and in panic make bad decisions, for example sell on bottom. Mostly because after they lost a part of their depo they want to win it back and return their losses fast, don't follow any plan and try to find some project that quickly will recoup losses.

Well, you have really done wrong entries and you managed them with wrong approach and mindset. You should have managed your trades with a proper plan and with the right approach. Now whats gone is gone and you can't change it now so better focus on what you can do in much better way to get some profit or at least make the loss minimal. You can hold the other coins if you wish to hold them because right now the market conditions are doing good and we can expect a new uptrend to start soon. You can also find some good Ether based projects whose value is really high and worth investing over there.

how about stop participating into any ICOs ?
instead of participating to those ICOs why do not you buy it directly after it hit the exchange ?
first find a project that suits you well and wait it until it the exchange,
usually after it hits the exchange the price will goes down significantly due to bounty hunter,
after it goes down 50% from its ICOs price, you buy it directly and hold it for a months.
if you do that, you may get 4x return from your investment.

If you continue to invest, keep your altcoins at least until the end of the year. Wait for the uptrend.

We all make mistakes.

And another problem. Don't be too dependent on other people. You're investing, so do your own research and don't ask to be spoonfed by other people. Google is free; and no one knows for sure which coin/token/ICO will earn you profit.

Sorry if almost everyone is going hard on you; but you have to understand what we are saying if you want to succeed. Investing in general ain't for the lazy.

If whats done is whats done then do remind yourself that and dont repeat that mistake of selling your coins one more time. Thats the best option for you to take into consideration and try to grab as much recovery as you can.  Smiley

As you can see we are already 10-20% up since last week then you should take this opportunity to make something out of your remaining coins. So yeah hold and just hold.

If you need an ICO to consider then you got SCL, JNT, and Eligma. They all have/had the best ICO sale ever. I wont say much about them as you could find it yourself by reading so you will understand more. Good luck.

You made some very expensive mistakes so you should learn what you did wrong.  Your problem was that you fomo'd when there was hype and you panic sold when you though crypto was gonna die.  If i were you i could start over and start trading without thinking about your losses.  Just keep in mind the mistakes you did before.

Also, 138k TRX?! YIKES. Looks like someone definitely didn't do his/her research huh.

Roll Eyes This absolutely was the same thought that came to my mind!

@OP since you seem to be very new to the whole cryptocurrency scene, i advise you to HODL (= hold) your coins for the next months. In the meantime, start researching about the whole blockchain technology and its projects. You will get a feeling for the market as well as for upcoming ICO's and potential investments.

When i started, back in June 2017, i entered the market during the ATH as well, but i was able to withstand the correction and, additionally, the correction that happended until now. Now i'm up more than 1000%.

As @mjglqw stated above, never let your emotions overtake your mind. Investments here are like a ride in a rollercoaster.

First, look what you did wrong.

1. You went FULL FOMO on January, in the hopes that your investment will make you "rich".
2. You went panic mode because the price was going down weeks ago.

It was just approximately 3 months and you already gave up on your investment. Deal with it. Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general isn't a "get-rich-quick" scheme.

So what do you do to fix this? Reflect on your mistakes, and never do them again.

Also, 138k TRX?! YIKES. Looks like someone definitely didn't do his/her research huh.
