The use of NFT is clearly visible in games, this is a special attraction considering that games are very popular with many people, even now the demand for NFT-based game projects is increasingly popular.
I only think of games and games when I talk about NFT , whereas the main purpose of NFT is as proof of unique ownership owned by the address used to transact with NFT.
Because games for me are more useful than to NFT art, though we might see a different point of views with regards to arts but for me, they are useless for a huge amount of money, imagine spending millions of money on NFT arts where everyone can have that picture, that’s crazy. People have different tastes especially when it comes to their habits where they always wanted to be on the top with whatever they have. In the NFT world, you will see that the Arts are more expensive than the game items because they are unique and limited supplies have been made. When it comes to games, only a few items are expensive but you cannot deny that they also have some value that will change fortunes to the other people especially those who live in the 3rd world country. Overall, NFTs are opportunities if only they know how to invest in them in their early stages.

but sometimes i think fiat is very worthless by buying a painting or drawing that is difficult for me to pronounce basically a kindergart painting. it is valued at thousands of $ which makes me think long and hard what is in the mind of the person who buys it

For Donation. Last Month i see some NFT in Binance NFT Marketplace and in the first page there's any NFT Created by ATTA and the money is for donation. So, i buy few a Mystery Box in there.
This really a good act of kindness and will make many people interested in charity.I think not too long ago we also heard big company using NFT to make donation and if NFT can be consistently used for making donation like this it will help contribute to the world.
Maybe in the future we also will see artist using NFT to make charity event like what being done by many influencers in social media. this can help the charity become even more interesting.
Here's great use for video games, imagine instead of the publisher and creator having to list their games on established platforms like STEAM which can take a 30% fee, the games creators can now sell their games as NFTS, and that cuts the middle man. You buy straight from the creator.

NFTs can be applied to just about any field in the real life and digital space, and presently in the crypto market, there are great opportunities to make money with NFTs, the most popular are the NFT arts, and Play to earn games, but i believe the most passive and highly rewarding way to enjoy NFTs is by being a positivity provider on decentralized exchange and NFT marketplaces.
That way, your coins are passively making you money and it is represented with an NFT that retains its value, used for DEFI services and can be sold for its value.

I strongly believe in exploiting the potential use of NFT in the future. Maybe the hype about it is gone, before the previous million dollar NFT deals made me really feel it was crazy and exaggerated. But so far things are pretty clear, and it's delivering value to the participants, it's really an interesting piece of cake to explore.
To my mind Non-fungible tokens are ideal to store information. They are likely to replace our passports, medical cards, insurance policies, driving licenses, tickets- everything that must exist in one specimen. Moreover, the NFT sphere is developing now, as there are a lot of unsolved issues with multi-chain support, security (we need secret NFTs) and with storage of them.
But store that information on blockchain isnt mean we release our information to public and its very riskful to do?
In my prediction i expect NFT as asset ownership proof like house or vehicle ownership proof.
I'm still not a fan of NFT, that's why the pumps here and there doesn't really move me. I was surprised how Axi infinity has been receiving lots of attention from everyone but I think it's just few whales who have been playing along, it's not similar to what we had during Uniswap and the rest when all coin and new tokens led to the bull run.
The easiest adoption, used, and will also last is NFT Games. As we know that games have always been a thing that is always liked from children to adulthood. Especially when these NFT games can make money.
At present, there are already many NFT games that appear and recently, Crypto coin Games are really rising up.

I expect intelectual property like Logo, Trademark, etc can be signed by NFT as a ownership proof around the world, so its not needed to be registered in every country.
I always think that NFT could always excel in adoption for game, imagine a game that has unique NFT for each of its item and making it able to be transactioned. I mean I know there are plenty of game's like that take advantage of NFT like that but what I imagined is a triple A game or every modern game implementing that which have really big user base, and all the game's item integrated within one block chain, it's gonna be massive.
for now, the most prominent and already running quite well is NFT related to games. we know that the gaming niche is very wide, there are many diehard fans who would be happy to spend their money and time to shape their dream character. it's about fun and satisfaction, not just spending money. when this is combined with the crypto niche, it can provide a unique experience for gamers, fun can be combined with an effective way of earning money.In addition, I've seen some news about some artists who started to use this NFT for their work, ranging from paintings, expensive bags, to songs. very interesting.

The op seems to have said it all from my point of view, first, I will like to say that am not really into NFTs, Infact, it has never really had any interest in them, but seeing the community discussing and predicting the future of NFTs makes me wanna really get deep into it, before now, I usually think of just one usage of NFTs and that gaming, this for those who love games, playing blockchain games will definitely make use of NFTs to build the game characters, but reading the ops post, I began to really see how important NFTs are for the growth of cryptocurrency cus all those usage mentioned by op, I never thought of them being under the NFT category.
maybe DEED? Deedy Digital have created this token and they will have an NFT platform very very soon. they have a lot of interesting things which they want to push, so I think it could be a great gainer for all of us.

1. Just to make an appreciation to all artist, they can sell any artwork so they can be more happy to work, to be an artist

Game characters are currently very trending to be used as NFT assets, P2e games have changed a lot of things in the crypto space and I think the 3 functions in the OP's post already represent the NFT functions.
In the future we may see some other features, but what I do know is that, while some of these NFTs are only one blockchain network, then we can only see them with that blockchain, multi chain NFTs are likely to be a good development in the future.
