At present, the transaction volume query website I know is the most professional and comprehensive. It is also difficult for other websites to surpass it. I often follow the information on this site.

Besides Coinmarketcap, I am using Coingecko for checking the trade volumes, and many other factors about the coins. I prefer CMC but sometimes I am trading coins and tokens not yet listed there, and most of them are already listed on CoinGecko which give almost the same info given by CMC for each coin.

Consider https://coin.market/ for more reliable monitoring of trade volumes - it provides more meaningful trades data (not ticker data, like CMC and most of the competitors), so you can calculate how much volume was in each time frame an you can also check how many trades were in a selected pair in a selected price range on all exchanges or on one exchange.

Lately I realized that coinmarketcap is a ton of shits and that's why I am now mostly using coingecko which is a best one as per my observation. It also provide some better data than coinmarketcap.
Even those sites providing better data still you need to check those prices on the respective exchanges because these sites are the tools for the price manipulators so Coingecko is not going to be an exception for it.

http://coincap.io/ this site also can be used as an alternative.

I'm starting to question coinmarketcap now.
How can a low volume coin possibly reached the spot of number 20+ before and now its on 38.
I'm talking about the Aurumcoin which became trending.

Same question goes thru my mind  . how can other coins easily climb on higher tier ?  Its not rocket science though  .  maybe because they are being manipulated by whales or they just got a plain demand from the public  .  or maybe cmc is just buggy  these days ?

Anyways , there are other alternatives that we can use .  i also use coingecko because they had a more richer feature and other contents  around their site .

I only use CMC, I don't really see why other people would use another one unless they just don't like the interface.

Coinmarketcap is better than others. However, there is still a dark side. Coinmarketcap once manipulated 50 coin data a.k.a giving false data or information about the coin. CMC is also suspected of accepting bribes, some Coins pay a large amount of fees to make CMC not update the latest coin competitors' bribes data (marketcap, price, listed exchange etc).

Alternative to CMC
1. coincap.io
2. coinlib.io
3. coingecko.com

Personally for me, I only use coinmarketcap because I feel it is the best and the biggest platform to use for trade volume. It is also very safe to view information.

You can use coincap.io or if on Android you can use the Bitrift App, you can track all CMC listed coins and track your portfolio, it has live widgets it's really good looking and better than Delta or Blockfolio imo

Until now Coin MarketCapa is a website that gets the first rank trusted and safe in viewing information about tokens, prices, exchanges, and more and you can visit Coingecko, cryptocompare, coinlib to find price comparisons

CoinMarketCap- certainly a great resource ,but as an addition you can use cryptocompare, also has a user-friendly interface and a lot of information on each token or coin.
