There's surprising a lot from what I've been looking at in the last couple of weeks, I'll list 3 of the most interesting/useful cases.
Finance - using the blockchain for more transparent transactions, being able to control your own money, and there are a lot of interesting platforms that can be built on this tech.
Food Industry - using blockchain technology to track how old food is, where it is from, how much there is, will make shipping and a lot of other menial tasks a lot easier.
Shipping industry - similar concept, basically using the blockchain to track stuff better, etc.

Considering that cryptocurrency runs on the rather new blockchain technology and that seems to be getting all the craze nowadays as more and more new cryptocurrencies appear and the established ones get more value as time goes on. I’m rather curious, what other applications does blockchain technology have aside for cryptocurrencies
I keep on hearing people say that blockchain technology will change the world, is that really true and to what extent would it change the world?
With rather limited knowledge of blockchain that I have heard that blockchain technology can be used for transferring data more efficiently than our current methods of transferring data and that it can keep people’s identities a secret - probably who a lot of shady people use it in order to do shady things especially in the dark web and all the other dark places on the internet.
Are there any other uses of Blockchain technology for other fields of technology, I’m really curious to know more because, I, myself am not very knowledgable about this subject. Thanks for your input.
The Blockchain has many uses, cryptocurrency is just one of them. The blockchain is an open ledger that is digital, transparent, publically available, and tamper proof system that revolutionizes that way we keep books. With the Blockchain, it is hard to cook the books because it is open to the public, transparent whereas each transaction can be easily recorded on a tamper free platform, so every book reciceves the same updated information.
The blockchain creates a decentralized system that works more effectively and efficiently than traditional methods of bookkeeping.

Time-stamping I think could be an interesting use-case. If we could somehow achieve the same level of trustlessness with a solution that wouldn't have to put entire documents on-chain then we'd have an ideal solution.
This concept is useful for proving the existence of digital assets at a certain time. For example, Alice gets the digital signature of a document she created and puts it on the bitcoin blockchain within a transaction. As soon as this transaction is in a block, Alice can prove to the world that the document she had existed from that point in time and on. Then, anyone getting the document will be ale to derive its hash and independently verify this information by also reviewing blockchain data.

Blockchqain technology is not only used for cryptocurrency, Blockchain is able to be adopted by all platforms and all fields in the world. Blockchain can be used for the fields of medicine, health, finance, agriculture, animal husbandry and many others. Data storage will be managed properly and can not be deleted by anyone. Data that is integrated with blockchain will be very safe and will never be damaged. All information can be traced to proof of the origin of the data.
blockchain technology is currently quite a lot of development has been carried out on it, not only for financial transactions but on the system of data transactions can be utilized in other fields. and currently many sites that study blockchain systems for educational needs

think of blockchain as blocks or "chunks" of data that are linked together using cryptography in order to build a chain of them. now you can store any kind of "data" in this "chain of data" and use in any anything that requires. the main idea of blockchain is not about transferring data, but time-stamping and linking them together. the way it works is not at all efficient. it is a design that works for a certain purpose, a decentralized ledger used for a payment system such as bitcoin that stores the transactions and updates itself as new blocks are built on top of it.
Because of all these features and advantages blockchain technology could be used in different areas including finances, medicine, agriculture, basicly in everything where you want to trace all information or maybe have proof of origin. Blockchain guarantees trust to its users and data that can't be corrupted and that is the most important thing.
actually that is not "advantage"! it is disadvantage. blockchain is slow, costly and inefficient and that is why it is not used in any other areas specially the ones you named! it has been more than 10 years that bitcoin has been around and the technology was introduced even before that and as you can see it is not used anywhere else.
don't confuse hundreds of scammy ICOs saying they are using it in these areas because they don't. it is just a lie.
