You gotta think as well too, windows has a back door to let governments in. The android phones do not, "open source ftw". The govt had tried to bribe an open source developer to make linux have a back door, but you can't beat the masses of open source developers, unlike one boss "microsoft". This is the only thing that kinda bothers me using W7 for PC. No doubt, I would never touch a windows phone. Gotta really consider security with mobile though. Just pointing out these facts. And I bet linux gurus will have my back on this.
I guess so. I think I'll be buying an Android one. I'm not really afraid about Windows 7. Now Windows 8 is something different.

IMHO I think so, at first there were less usable apps for windows but it has caught up now! I will 90% get a Windows Phone 8 next because they are only going to get better! Tongue

Motorola Atrix 4G with Atrix MROM by Michael Montuori.  Transformed the phone, but it's still a 3+ year old device.  I really like the fingerprint scanner unlock though.

I switch between the Nokia N9 and Nokia N900: I've yet to find any thing that can match up to my needs in terms of power (OS wise), open source-eness and having a native hardware keyboard, and the N900 is nearly 4 years old Shocked
