Faucets was one of my first experiences as well.
I still remember the first day where I started getting BTC. The amount was a tiny one but I thought that I was getting huge value because I couldn't calculate the exact amount. Also the idea of free money gets you on the loop of trying to get more.

I started to invest in bitcoin in 2017 and other altcoins , where in bitcoin rapidly goes highin its value that more people gains more profits from it and most in altcoins. Before i got interested in investing bitcoin , i already knew it since 2009 but not popular that time where in people only getting bitcoin for paying in some of their applications and buying some stuffs. In my calculation of my profits in bitcoin since the day i started to invest , i have gained enough profits from it to be able to buy my needs and have some earning from it.

I wish knew bitcoin from 2009 like you did. But perhaps if i knew bitcoin at first time, maybe i will not buy it because its not popular and dont know where to spend or have a good future. I am believe many people who knew about bitcoin at cheap price regret not buying bitcoin at first time they know

I also started bitcoin in 2017, at that time even though my rank was still low, but I still could make a lot of money, so I felt very helped by the economic life of cryptocurrency. even though in 2018 it was a difficult time, but still excited, because it had already felt the sweet time

bounty hunter that start working before on 2017 now collected much asset.and i see its on their social media account.and even now become investors in several projects that come from bounty reward.

I was first drawn to Bitcoin because of its investment opportunity from which a friend of mine yielded $30K during the December, 2017 bull market. After hearing his success story, I took the time to research into Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies at large and it was through the research I came to conclusion that cryptocurrency is indeed the future of payment systems due to its features like security, low transaction costs, high transaction speed etc.

Last year if you made money consider a great thing beacuse people have lost heavy money due to market crashing and not rising as expected . Thus those who did not hold might have lost more as market is showing now sign of recovery.

It's been three years from now since I started investing in Bitcoin and other altcoins. I probably earned 20% if I'm not mistaken. However, the amount of my Bitcoin compare from when I started is now lesse due to my financial needs.
