Hi! A wallet is as safe as you keep your keys!
There are a lot of sinister orojects or persons who are after your private keys! Always keepcyour keys in a safe place, not on your pc or mobile. Grin

1)There are many kinds of wallet , such as paper wallet , hardware wallet .
2)But you need you know there is no one wallet is safe in 100%, because someone maybe stole your private key or password and wallet.data
3)So you need to pay attention to your password and private key and your wallet file .

Yes blockchain wallets are safe provided you have taken security measures.

Best wallets in my opinion:
1) Hardware wallet - Ledger Nano S
2) Software wallet - ImToken

web wallets isn't safe. If you want to safe you Coin/Token use hardware wallet or other two type of wallets.

1.Web Wallets (Hot Storage)
             Easiest but the least safest.

2.Desktop/Mobile Wallets (Hot Storage)
Better than web wallets but depends on a 3rd party server.

3.Hardware Wallets (Clod Storage)
             Simply a USB dongle.

4.Paper Wallets (Clod Storage)
The private key printed on a piece of paper.

5.Other types of wallets
             Eg:-Meta Wallets,RFID enable chip

I can recommend Ledger Nano. There are still lots of secure wallets that you can use. For you to have more understanding about wallets you can check this thread.

Blockchain wallets are safe but not to be used as long term safe wallets and thats if you don't share your private key or mnemonic phrases.

Blockchain wallets are basically good for keeping your bitcoin
Just don't venture into any kind of wallets even the ones on software, they can be easily hacked.

To have confidence in your coin safety i did advice you use nano

Incorrect. They have no way of accessing your private keys. If they did then they would've been toast years ago. On signup you get a seed you're free to take anywhere else and they can't stop you.
True, I got my 19 mnemonic words from them.

I don't have any problem with blockchain.info wallet but don't use it if you will store or use it as a cold storage, it's wrong. I bookmarked the site itself so I won't fall for any phishing link. But to have the confidence, get yourself a nano.

I don't recommend using blockchain.info's wallet because the one cannot get the private keys of the newly generated bitcoin addresses from this wallet. This means that they have full power to control all your funds and if the site gets hacked then you end up losing all you coins.
You can't even sign messages using this wallet.

I prefer desktop and hardware wallets over online wallets because of their much secure features.

I wouldn't use it myself because the most insecure end is always your end. Unless you can guarantee your email, 2FA or phone can't be compromised, or someone watching you input the password with screen capture software, then you shouldn't use it. Since no one can guarantee that level of their own security no one should be using it.

It's advisable to go with a more secure hardware wallet--they are resilient to hacking and theft. We have more information in our blog post on how to make sure your wallet is always secure, so check it out:

It depends on how many money are you planning to store into the wallet. I think if your budged is < 10k - 15k you can obtain for a web wallet like myetherwallet with metamask.

Yes. It's totally safe to keep your fund for daily use. I would recommend you to get yourself a hardware wallet as icroatt mentioned. Most people have two wallets one to store large amount of fund which usually be a hardware wallet (cold wallet) and another is an online wallet (cold wallet) like blockchian.info for everyday transactions.

I would also recommend a Nano Ledger S or Trezor hardware wallet. Otherwise the safest wallets tend to be the desktop wallets made by the developers of the particular coin you may be interested in.

It not safe enough to keep all your funds in it, but it is good to only store the Bitcoins that you know you will use in short term.
Web Wallets are considered to be not a good choice when you are planning to keep a lot of funds and too for a long period. One should buy a hardware wallet like Nano Ledger or use a desktop wallet like Bitcoin Core or Electrum in that case because these are considered way much safer than the wallets on Web like Blockchain, Xapo and Xapo etc.
