I think that it would be a breath of fresh air if Blockchain technology could also cater healthcare and other necessities in life such education social sanitation and transport. These would really have a great impact into the betterment of our society given our present situation. I think it is very vital to always look for innovations or platforms that could help heal our ecosystem too.
I think they can cover the sector of disabled person. They can provide something different and suitable to the physically desabled person to improve their condition. Besides social network is another space they can look into.
I think the biggest area in the future should be biotechnology. In the future, people can choose their own offspring's genes. Gene therapy can be used for all diseases. Among the future rich people, life expectancy may be long. You can get eternal life. This should be a problem that can be solved in the 21st century.
Since blockchain was a public ledger (everyone could see) So, I think one of government project should be adopting blockchain, let's said elections. Or maybe donations program on the election campaign.

From my perspective i think blockchain needs some improvement in particular area and i wish it will. Because some gaming application are doing well in recent times.
I think mostly it will be improved blockchains (infrastructure), financial payment processors and storage (security) wise. Probably some gaming platforms or crypto games will become popular too, like cryptokitties did. Other then that, I don't see major adoption in other areas.
I think transportation. Public service tokens. Anything that would offer a discount on a rate that is used by the masses. If something like that came to life I think it would lead to mass adoption. Ex: uber releases a token that provides discounts on the rate. Buses offer a token and using that token they could ride one extra ride or receive 5% off ride prices.
