not your keys, not your coins!
Hi there! From your post it's not clear if you're new to Bitcoin as well.
If you are, I recommend to read some books first, like this one: https://bitcoinbook.info
Andreas Antonopoulos also has great resources on his YouTube channel answering most newbie questions in tons of different videos!

I appreciate newbies who are encouraged to learn from the forum. So that's what you can or should expect from the forum in my opinion since I love to see this kind of use here. On the other hand, most probably forum expects spam-free contributions from you. I don't know the forum administration thoughts, but this is what I like to see from newbies. You can help the forum in more ways like reporting spam posts, but before that, you have to educate yourself about the forum culture. So I will suggest learn and read more than posting.

I wanted to say welcome to bitcoin talk. I am a newbie too and reading these provided links above by nakamura12 helps you in many ways, so that you'll be aware of what to do's and not to do's. You can learn about the rules, how to earn merit and what's the purpose. You need to educate yourself first and understand bitcoin before posting to any of the threads to avoid bumping or worse you'll get banned. As soon as i started in bitcoin this is what i actually did and it turned out very well even though i'm still an amateur. I hope this can help you. Goodluck!

Welcome to the forum, OP.
I hope you learn a lot here in the forum whether it'd be Bitcoin-related or not. Just follow the mentioned thread below you and you'll be fine.
Also adding up what Rikafip mentioned above me, if you plan on making a thread asking a question about certain thing, please search it first here in the forum before asking. There are many newbies repeating the same question over and over, while it is just one single click of an existing thread away to finding out the answer/s.

Welcome to the forum, one piece of advice: If you plan to make a new thread about something, don't just copy/paste whole article without leaving any personal opinion on the matter, like you just did with Five New Altcoins Launch Across Coinbase’s Crypto Trading Platforms . Topics like that are redundant and serve nothing really if you don't share your own opinion as that's what forum is for.

Proper way to start topic is to copy/paste paragraph or two that cover most important things, and then leave your own comment.

welcome, buddy. I'm a newbie,too.
you mentioned that you wanna achieve success in this forum, I believe you can do it as long as you're really learning and trying to help.
to begin with, some rules you are suppose to know: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/unofficial-list-of-official-bitcointalkorg-rules-guidelines-faq-703657
thank you, mprep, for rendering rules clear for everyone, esp, newbies.
and about bumping changes on some boards: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bumping-changes-on-some-boards-5183553
one facet of success, is, undoubtedly, the number of merit. As I see it, posts of high quality is the prerequisite of garnering merit. you can focus on technology related if interested or your opinion about the situation.
I think the experience of this member should be helpful: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/kxwhalexk-3339476 and one of his posts is of inspiration as least for me: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57659361
to produce good output, enough input, that is, reading, is needed.  kxwhalexk did a fantastic job.
I'll list some of my role models here, they success can serve as your reference.
and his advice of merit: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/celebration-of-4-years-forum-membership-and-advices-5347271

it helps to make your words logic and clear, which means you can learn to use the tools when typing, such as bold or some lists like I did above.
success is contribution. wish you a good journey in this forum Smiley

How can i tell you.....!
so that you become a successful person here.

So let's put it this way, What do you have in your soul or mind, related to Bitcoin/Crypto, I mean knowledge or skill.
Or related to interesting things to be developed in this forum, maybe skills can lead you to become a successful person here.

However, if you don't have anything to develop here, well, learn first as the guys in this thread say, if you are diligent and quick to understand anything related to crypto or forums you may not take long to become a top and successful.

Sure mate. Aside from the links shared above, would like to reiterate some points:

-Be polite when responding on ones post.
-Review your post. You dont want to create a tipic with broken sentences. Means practice or check carefully your grammar.
-Always follow the rules cause sometime we might forget something that will cause temp ban or deletion of your topic created.
-Check the topic first you want to introduce. Chances that the topic is already been raised.

These are such precautions or preparations, other than that. You are good to go welcome to forum

Bitcoin is achievement
Bitcointalk community is a place whereby People acquire knowledge of cryptocurrencies because the forums is meant to educate everyone who come contrary to with seriousness, secondly as a newbie we have to understand and observe the rules and regulations of the community, from above comment i seen some group members who dropped a Link to read up of the guidelines of the community, currently the only strategy you can as well induced into this forum is to be innovative, and the same time observation and consciousness.

The forum expects from you to follow its rules, and the forum's community expects from you to not be a shitposter. You can't expect anything from this forum at all, users come and go, users might interact with your posts or they might ignore them; there can be good and educative posts or interesting discussions, and there can be tons of shitposts and spam; there's no guarantee that you will be accepted in a good paying signature campaign or that signature campaigns will even exist in the next few years.

This forum isn't actually a great learning resource for beginners. As a beginner you should first learn the basics by reading a good book. After that you could search this forums if you have some questions, they have probably been asked many times already.
