"every addiction is bad"
But being addicted to forums won't make you lose money it will add a lot of experience.

is it happened to your sometime when you were newbie?

No, beginners don't visit forums too often because they get bored at first, but often a lot of time is given to forums in their spare time, so I'm even more excited to be active with the 3-4 hours I spend here until now.

Well you are free to login as many times you wishes but doesn't mean is an addiction, maybe I can say you are less busy that's why if you are being occupied with something tedious that really consuming your time then you would have little chance to visit here, but that not withstanding you could used those time to read something meaningful to you through this forum if you think is an addiction because the more time you spent here the vast knowledge you gain through reading people's post.

Fellow forum dweller, welcome to the addiction club! Just kidding, addiction is no joke. It's great that you're recognizing the issue early on, though.

As for solutions, have you considered creating a schedule for yourself? Set specific times to log in and stick to them. You could also try cutting down your daily login time and gradually decrease it until you find a balance that works for you. Or, for a real challenge, try going cold turkey for a day or two to see how it feels.

But let's be real, we all know the real solution is to quit your day job and become a full-time forum fanatic. (Just kidding!)

You are a newbie, and this is your first forum account, this is a new place for you, it is normal that you get intrigued and impressed by how much this forum is doing that you forget count of the time that you spend here. With the excitement, you always want to login to the forum to see what is going and what people are discussing. This is normal and something that you will get over with time, I do not think it is addiction yet. As you get older in the forum, you will learn to include it to the activities your life so that your time here will not affect your time to do other meaningful things.
Many beginners want to explore in every thread to find out all the information, but when he gets older in the forum he will be more active on certain boards to find out the information he needs, so there is no term addiction in the forum but if you are always active in the forum, then you also include people who actively contribute to always interact in the forum.

There is always that newbie enthusiasm when we find ourselves in a place where members are classified by ranks and the levels of knowledge that they provide (this is based on individuals, though). I don't think it's addiction but just a feeling that makes you think you'd love to be like others, and so you keep putting in your effort just to be like them. It's just like when someone changes schools and you find out there are more intelligent people in your class than at the formal school you left, then you would want to frequent your reading habit so you could meet up. That's just it.

I had that feeling when I first joined this forum. I write up to five replies a day, and some times I just keep reading to learn. I do social media a lot and watch movies a lot, but since I joined this forum, I have even been battling to finish a series I started in December last year. Is just my thoughts though.

does it happen to your sometimes when you were a newbie?

When I started the forum I spent several months trying to figure out how certain work here in the forum, the first few months after I created my first thread (introductory thread which also gave me my first merit although I knew nothing about it at that time.) I went silent trying to learn more, and eventually, I caught up and started being active.
I won't call my addiction, I'll say I did it out of curiosity.

That means the number of your logins in the forum is far less than most people today, on average I spend 4 to 5 days a week and is usually active for 5 to 6 hours.

Lots of information that we can find here and is not limited to cryptocurrency, for me this forum is different from most other social media. Everyone must be different in the number of hours spent on a forum per day, because in general they have real jobs that cannot be left behind. You can determine how many more optimal hours we need in the forum and ultimately take advantage of something for the progress of knowledge is much better, than spending time in a place that is not useful.

Try telling us how many hours on average you spend on the forum, you could find out in the end that it's a similar number with the majority of forum members and not an outlier. Although addictions are personal and while your number of hours on the forum are not extremely high, it could be distracting you from necessary activities like sleeping.

I spend 4-6 hours on the forum on average and fns it more rewarding than mindlessly scrolling through social platforms and I can also easily put down the phone when I want to.

Well, they say the first step to solving a problem is admitting you have one, so kudos to you for recognizing your addiction!  Cheesy

But seriously, forum addiction? Really? I suppose you could try finding something else to do with your time, like knitting or watching paint dry. But let's be honest, what could possibly be more thrilling than scrolling through endless pages of forum posts? Just embrace the addiction and revel in your newfound hobby!  Cool

In all seriousness, I have a feeling that this may not actually be a case of addiction. Good luck on your journey to recovery, though!
