First of all I make research related to negative price development. If I see something suspicious I sell and stay away that coin. If I see it is a speculative move, as happened to bitcoin after JP Morgan Ceo talked about it, I understand it is going to go up after speculator buys the dip.
In general i am long term holder, however i have a small number of coins available for trading (and trade whenever prices drop).
In the case of dropping i sell and wait it to drop further and buy again resulting in increasing my coins.
This does not always work in favour of course. Few times it happened that while dropping i sold and then price increased. I was just waiting for the price to drop again and buy. Was happy enough to get almost the same number of coins i had before. Do not panic to sell.

Staying calm would be a wise thing to do in that kind of situation. There is no use in selling while everything's going down, you will only löse. What you need to do is wait till things make dip and buy some cheap coins , eventually things will turn back to normal and you will probably be a richer man than you were before the fall.
Nothing we all know the reason for the price to drop it is because of various activities taking place in china just hold we did see the price fall to 3000$ but now you can see how quickly the price recovered don't panic the price fall is because of a particular region and not the whole world always remember when the price drops just hold don't cut your profits

we should hold and keep emotion away. don try check price every tick. read something or do other job
In my opinion, we must save or hold Bitcoin to help the movement of bitcoin to soar. rather than selling bitcoins. because it will result in lower bitcoin prices and we must be sure that bitcoin users are not only in china but there are still many bitcoin users from different countries. so do not panic to sell, hold it until the time comes.
Try to judge the reason behind the dropping and if it's probable that the coin is goinging to drop too much, sell it immediately and when it drop to very extent, but it back but this is a suitable strategy for only top rated coins. like few days ago when BTC price fell because of china ban on ICO and exchanges, BTC fell to about half price and after sometime it started to recover.
must remain patient in facing the problem because we also can not do anything about the price of a coin the most in priority is always optimistic and never give up to get through all this that one day the price can rise again and open up a great opportunity for us to use it.
If your coin you hold can survive just hold till it comeback. every coin can survival always comeback. This is my 6 year exp in crypto world
In my opinion the better we can do is to sell the 50% of your bitcoin, to assure that before deep your handling coins you have secured the half of it. Moreover, when the time bitcoin starting to raising up again just buy some of it. That's is simple trading and I assure you that you earn income not lost.

I think the best thing to do when the price keep on dropping is to keep on buying and everyone should grab the opportunity to buy in dips. Don't panic because once you do that you will regret. Invest now and harvest later that's the only way we earn safely. Try to understand the flow of previous prices and you will realize how Eth made it's way up just like Bitcoin. Since I am not a trader, so I used this method "Buy low and hodl."
