If I dey depressed, I go find wetin dey make me happy do,  although e no really dey easy to conquer depression just like that o. So wetin I go do be say, I go listen to music, music wey dey lyrics dey rhyme together with our how I dey feel at the moment, like that dey really help me, but I go use earphones to make sure say e loud well well, sometimes I go talk to person wey I love so much, that way too dey work and also I fit dey stroll at times just to ease the pressure wey dey the air at times, plenty things wey I go do just to make myself happy dey but I must say depression no be wetin person go experience o, e dey very very bad, person fit destroy something or do bad thing if care is not taken so e good mk we surround ourselves with people wey go impact us positively.
We should be promising and also keen on accumulating settled points for ourselves. Depression might as well lead to committing suicide. It's no longer news but holding unto the precious moment of giving myself the best should be my top priority. Surround oneself with positive people that are always ready to make or persuade one to achieve good results in the market. Most of the traders and investors are depressed based on the current scene of the market. It's been really hurting not to be included in the huge pumps of most of the projects.

Just embrace something that is giving you joy at the moment, which is the best way to eliminate depression from your life because it can keep, if you don't know what to do at the moment to eliminate depression, it can cause some sickness that will make you to be spending money on treatment every day.

Whenever am experiencing depresse at home or my working place, I have some of my favorite music I use to play to ensure the depresse give way for happiness to come up for people around me to see that am happy.

Try to find out the things that is making you depressed, and avoid them totally, and there are some people family responsibility is what is giving them depression which you can avoid it by not responding to family members.

Depression na something way Dey very common among Nigerian youths now. Base on say, oppression way people Dey use eye see no be small. Even as people Dey complain say, economy hard, U go still see some people way go Dey live lavish life. This don lead many youths astray, to go put hand for bad thing when them suppose Dey do there thing jejely and consistently to archive there goal.
I go still like talk say, our people for here Dey try with how them Dey handle depression kwa, instead of depression to push them into taking there own life, e Dey push them towards finding means to get that thing way Dey make them depressed. The bad side be say, some of the means no pure.

Most of us we don Dey depressed at some point in our life and I go like add say, one of the means to escape depression na to read books, yes BOOKS.
You Dey hear how them say an idle man is the devil’s workshop… Na so depression carry be.
When you just Dey and you no Dey do anything, na so you go get plenty time to Dey think watin go kill you, emotionally, psychologically, socially and financially cef. That na because, you get all the time and nothing you Dey do. When you no get things to keep your mind busy like this, read books. There are lots of knowledge in books and some times, you go fine your solution from there: you no go get time to Dey depressed rather, e go build in you a sense of hope.

yes you just made it clear, When depressed you only need to relax don't over stress yourself never think too much because over thinking no fit solve problem, try to control your emotions fines something that will keep you company remember things that you like most don't think of drinking any alcohol.

This topic is an important one, feeling of depression is very bad and has ended up people doing things that they find themselves regretting later on, when you are overwhelmed with the feeling of depression it will be good not to take any sudden decisions or actions, i know so many people usually ends up doing things that they don't usually do on a normal circumstances which can affect them negatively, individually we all have what keeps us happy the most and this are the things you should find yourself doing when you have been overtaken by the feeling of depression, every one has to figure out what makes him or her happy the most and stick to it when depressed, it helps in keeping you active again.as for me, I love music it calms me down when am depressed.

Depression is very bad. and it destroy so many lives in the country because. so many people lack job and money. why some get depressed because of their present situation

The only way I used to fight depression is only when I stop thinking about my problems and get along with friends play football, watch interesting movie and do whatever I like that will make you happy

Depression start when someone feel that he or she has lost hope ,this is wheñ depression sets in,as a wise man when u noticed u are depressed
Make sure u always go close to people
That will help u alot ,never u stay alone ,make sure u are in the mist of 2 or 3 people ,so u will be discussing things together,eat good food ,dress very will ,I think why doing this ,your mined will will be at rest .

Long time illness can be another cause of depression,
One can be sick without knowing the cause of the illness (1) if the person doesn't have the finance the run the adquate test (2) by not having the basic medical advice he or she needs by that time.
These can lead to depression, I have I friend who was suffering from an illness which he thought was strange because he didn't have money to run the basic medical test he needs by that time, that really made him depressed. Later when he consulted a doctor he discovered that he is suffering from stomach ulcer which can be cured. When he started talking the medication for stomach ulcer he began to get his healing, that really made him to overcome depression as of that time.

Well from the beginning I thought you where outlining the possible anti depression but along the line it seems you were giving advice and analysis on the various ways you think one can over come depression.

But first of all we need to identify what is the cause of the depression and I there is any ways to destroy it from the root e.g a job can push someone into addictions or even lifestyle,  so if this things ant taken care of, even though you apply all the mentioned means of getting out of depression, the person will still be depressed a d even worst if he continues in the job or lifestyle that birthed the depression in the first place.

To allow yourself to wallow in a mirage na another form of self deceit. You know the reality way Dey right before you but, you choose to live in illusion, illusion created by alcohol or taking of substances way go suppress your senses from cognitive ability of watin Dey happen for your life.

The thing be say, you go still wake up to the matter last last. Maybe you go Dey take the substance for a good number of time, no forget say, na money them dey use afford most of these and that money Dey finish. When e finish, that reality still Dey for front Dey wait for you. It might even be worst in that time.

Wahala no Dey just disappear, you’ve got to work yourself through some solutions to have it go away. Na so e Dey be.

I’d like to firstly state that highness does not help or ease depression in any way, It only pauses your depression after it automatically resumes when the highness clears.
Speaking from firsthand experience as someone that’s still working towards achieving totally freedom from depression, it’s been a long journey but definitely worth it all.

I believe the first step is actually realizing you have a depression problem then speak to someone that cares all about what you’re going through, try to associate with cheerful friends find things to keep your mind busy cause an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.

For me what I know I can do when I am depressed is by (1)listening to music 🎶 I love music and whenever I am Depresed, I listened to music because it gives me joy. (2) Playing difficult puzzle games that requires intelligence to win, it make me become smarter and calculative. (3) I go out with friends to drink and cracks joke and remember the past when we where you her how we behave, it makes me feel like adulthood is  scam where everyone is a big boy who does care for each other's but do what pleases them without considering how they started lolz.(4) Sometimes just go out and relax on a casino hall and watch the attitude of gambling addict and you are ok.

E get one of my brother wey just start to dey drink recently so I ask am say why all of a sudden he won turn himself to a drunkard, he say na because say him dey depressed.
The truth that many people do not know is that alcohol does not cure depression but only postpone it. To cure depression through alcohol, you need to be constantly drunk else anytime your eyes clear, the pains and everything that got you depress will return with full force.

In our world today and especially our country where a lot of people are becoming depressed due to present economic realities, it is very important one take care of his mental health above anything else. To achieve this, planning is very important because through proper planning, the limited funds can be allocated to important things first and not frivolities.

What to do when you are depressed or worried about something
1: seek Help: There is a popular saying that goes like this"a closed mouth is a closed destiny" Talk to someone you trust, it could be a family member, friend or even a therapist to help guide you. Talking to someone go help relieve some worries you were having and solution can come from there .
This aspect is being neglected by many people as people are so conservative these days under the inglorious saying "minding their business". I called it inglorious because nothing decides the society than lack of socialisation,  communication and synergy.  A lot of people will never talk to anyone about their ordeals, they prefer dying in silence.

In addition to what you said, I believe it is critical for individuals to care for their state of health when they are sad. This might include eating nutritious foods, getting adequate sleep, and exercising frequently. Even taking a walk outside might improve our attitude. It is also critical to limit our exposure to hazardous individuals and situations. Sometimes, the most effective thing we can do for our mental health is separate ourselves from relationships or environments that are causing us stress or making us feel bad about ourselves.
The separation part got my attention because when one is depressed and it could as well be a result of a stressful relationship either at work or within the environment or among friends or even from the family members, one should be able to seek out some quiet peaceful place to meditate and just be themselves. It could be advisable to take a break and just travel to a new or different environment entirely.
Travelling sure helps a lot with depression and meeting or making new friends too.

As a depressed individual you should learn how to share your feelings with your close trusted friends and family, when you are depressed what you need at this time is always being around people so that you won't be thinking or having negative thoughts, why most depressed persons commit suicide is because they divided to keep whatever that's bothering them secrete this may prompt them to decide to active stupidly by taking their life by themselves, most times self motivation does not help anyone in this situation that's why family should be involved because their advice will be needed to soften the situation and solve the problem. What I know about being depressed be say na everybody e dey touch and na everywhere and different person have different ways to take follow am. As for me na recreational stuffs like football na dey really relief me of any depression, na either I play the football or I engaged my self in a playstation duo with some of my G's but I hardly do all those things now and what I do most is playing the football or something running to clear it off is also a welcomed technique but all these are my way sha don't know for anyone else.

2: Get yourself busy with what you love doing. If it is exercise, watching a movie, Listening to music, reading books, or even cooking. This will take your mind off that worries and you won't endanger yourself in the process.

3: Eat better food: if you no eat because you are worried, e go add more to the depression you are already experiencing which will mess with you mental health and affect your overall well being.

4: Reflect on your little achievement and small wins in life; this will bring a little joy to you at that moment

5: Avoid Alcohol and Drug, this one go worsen your case because if you come get addicted to them, it will hard for you to get out of it and that's like double wahala for you.

6: Even in your worries, try get better sleep, e go help your mood and also your mental health.

7: Learn how to meditate: meditation is simply having a deep thought. You can meditate on the word of God or any thing you believe in.

I know it's not easy to do any of these when one is facing difficulty but you will still have to help yourself to get out of that situation and hopefully this helps. What do you do when you are depressed?
There are a lot of things a today for me for instance reach out for support, engage in activities which will take your time to forget about worries and establish self routine.
