What to do with all guy who loss money to stock market

They are all promised to have retirement, stable and passive income, happy ending, fast car, fast house, fast woman, big fat profit, millionaire, high risk high return. Some of them got into big loan and loss everything, while they are still having to pay their loan. Are they gonna get a refund? The broker tell me stock market would make a come back again, it is just a cycle thing, technical correction, everybody would get their refund when market come back again. Now is the best time to buy low, when they market come back, it is your chance to retire young retire rich.

I told broker this is snake oil, and it is over. He respond it is not, you see, everybody too is doing this shady business, everybody doing it, you know, ape together ape is strong, when ape is strong, police is weak, law enforcement is weak, they can't fight the ape when ape together. Smiley
One of the most basic things we must do when buying something is to never rely 100% on the opinion of the ones that are selling us something, it is obvious they are always going to promote their product as being the very best and even if it is not then they will claim that soon enough everything will fix itself, the truth is that most of the money flows from the poorer to the richer, this is the model that has been the dominant one for the past decades, so anyone thinking they can use the stock market to increase their retirement fund will receive a nasty surprise when they finally discover this is not going to be the case and that their money is now on the pockets of the richest persons around the world.

Really why I hate stock brokers in general. To me they are all licensed scammers, legally allowed to steal money from you while you toil away until you die because what they're doing is apparently good for the economy. I wouldn't let them near my money if my life depended on it. As for the people that lost their money to these brokers, it is indeed true that the market is cyclical and there will be times when the market will be merciful to you and your investment. But make no mistake. As soon as you see the opportunity to liquidate your assets and jumpship from your stock holdings that they invest for you, do it. You can always invest in stocks on your own without their "expert guidance" anyway. So cut the middleman, learn the charts, and invest on it yourself.

Many times retail investors invest in stock market without proper information. Investing money without understanding the stock market is the biggest mistake because they lose more money. Stock markets are volatile in the short term but in the long term they offer low risk and overall returns. Holding stocks for a long period of time is more likely to give you extraordinary returns. Hence, it is better to invest in stocks with a long-term view rather than a short-term view. It is a good idea to lock in money that you will not need in the near future. Thus if you sell stocks when the price is low you may lose money in the beginning but see the stocks over the years.

The crazy part about the stock market is every young guy thinks he is going to get in and trade himself a couple % in profits per day and be rich in a year. It just doesn’t work like that. Those people get bled dry. Unfortunately, it takes age and wisdom to see that being debt free and slowly building a portfolio of dependable companies or index funds is truly the way to reach financial freedom. Slow and steady…
This is what most young generations believe when they first enter stock market not knowing they will not only need  experience, they also need patience and a lot of study in order to build their own portfolio. The problem about this is that, there are some who only initiates recommendation towards new investors but won't bother to teach them what is actually needed but instead, they will teach them unnecessary information or worse is that they will teach them or encourage them to invest what their mentors were investing, the same as what happened on crypto industry.

This is roulette, you can always wait for the market to roll back, there is a chance that things will get even worse. There is only risk and they are not afraid to lose everything they have invested. Many have lived for priceless, just not to go into the negative. No one will pay anything.

It's true that all investments come with a certain level of risk, and it's important to understand and manage that risk to protect your financial well-being. It's also important to understand that investing is not the same as gambling, as investing involves making informed decisions based on research, analysis, and a long-term strategy.

You cant always take someone's word for it because the person that will be taking the real risk and losing money is you and not that third party! Besides the game of investing  requires you do your own due diligence before you commit  resources to such projects...and fyi proper risk management is required here if you dont want to lose everything in one shot.

This is roulette
If you have the experience and knowledge can will still call this roulette or this will apply to beginners Huh

The stock market is one of the ways in which you invest your surplus money and without dividing those investments, you will inevitably lose your money at one point or another. Therefore, whatever the stockbroker promises, you must diversify your investments in sectors that are not affected by each other or adversely affected, such as Gold/USD pair or USD/Real estate pair, and therefore not Your investment portfolio must contain Gold, USD, foreign currencies, Real estate, Stocks and any intermediary investments.

If you are in the prime of life, stay away from the advice of the broker and invest in technology companies, companies that reduce the number of employees, and that provide services that society needs in the short and medium term.

But if you are old, invest in the shares of large companies that have more than 20 years in the market. These companies have lived after many shocks and mastered how they will stand in the future.

Of course, the return is different between both types of stocks.

I've checked the US stock market index and S&P 500, and it doesn't seem to me that anything particularly bad is going on there. They're all a bit down, but just a tiny bit. In that case, it really depends on what exactly a person invested in, and whether that stock has a history of going up and down and then recovering again. I mean, maybe the problem is that someone was simply scammed, or invested in something very bad and risky. The promises the op mentions certainly sound like a part of a scam. I'm sorry for the loss, but I don't know what can be done in a particular situation because there aren't any details. But if it's a sure loss and there's no way of getting any of that money back, I think it's best to move on, learn to be more careful, and remember that money isn't everything.

It’s a cyclical thing: you buy some at the right time and you get out when you have enough. The problem is, if you’re not in the inner circles you probably won’t know what you’re doing half the time, and that could potentially lead you to losing a lot of money on stocks trading. That is how most of the other stock traders make money when the market is bad, by taking advantage of those who are not in the know and sell their garbage to them.

Stock trading obviously isn’t for everyone, but once you get the grasp of how the system works, and made connections in this world, better use that as a leverage to your trading journey.

Promises are there to lure customers. They become invalidated with terms 'your investment is subject to market risks'. It's just bear market and such are also usual responses, even I myself see giving this response when I suggest some coin to friend and it collapses  Tongue

Stock market never promises a happy retirement and the other things you have mentioned in your thread. Rather stock market always says - "Investments are subject to market risk". What else can stock market do to be more fair?

Stock market is a long term game. I invest quite heavily into it and forgot the investments for next 10 years. Very moderately, I am sitting at around 20% net profit excluding the dividends which are another tax free source of income which I get every quarter. You just need to play it right to win the game!

I feel like this is attack towards stock market is not what we really need to do, I understand the logic but we shouldn't really go with that. I think it would be wiser if we could end up with something much bigger and better in the long run, it would be smarter if we could just focus on what we can do with getting similar to stock market instead.

Some people in the crypto world hate stock market, but that is a trillion dollar business, and if we could get just a bit similar to it, then we could be a much bigger market as well. Crypto is global, as in the whole world, and even with that we are still failing to beat just American stock markets, even Nasdaq is bigger than us all by itself. If we could be a bit more like that, we could grow and maybe pass that, maybe not be as big as the whole worlds stock markets combined, but at least be bigger than Nasdaq or Nyse.

I don't blame some elderly people that lost money in stocks. They had to rely solely on brokers and financial advisers for investment advice. There was no internet when some of them invested in stocks, so they didn't have access to the kind of information the present generation have. Some of my teachers have died due to wrong financial advice that made them broke.

But relying on anybody for financial advice in this current era is a sign of laziness. There are diverse investment opportunities that anybody can discover through personal research. For those that have lost money, "sorry" and others that are seeking investment avenues  "do your research".

Since a long time ago this brokerage business was quite evil. They promise all kinds of beautiful things to their customers just for profit. They make every effort to ensure that their clients keep investing, even when they lose money. Usually these brokers will say that the loss is reasonable because of market conditions and it will recover, even though their goal is only a percentage of each investment of their customers. In fact, what I hear is that the employees of this broker usually party or do luxury shopping when they get big investments from their clients, and that's quite normal in the brokerage business.

The stock market won't make stable and passive income. Maybe in a bullish season and a growing world economy, these stocks will generate a lot of dividends and their value increases. But the market will never be consistent forever, it will have its own highs and lows.

I am not very good at assessing the global stock market, but in my country, I am losing hope that I might transfer them all in crypto this year or early next year before the bitcoin halving. Before, I keep on hearing from some local stock traders and investors in my country about the volatility of crypto. But now my stocks are in worse condition than bitcoin and the other top altcoins like ethereum.

...there is a chance that things will get even worse...

Are you telling me, we are still not yet living hell? What could be worse? zombie attack coming?

...it is true that you could recover by learning from your mistakes...

So we finally have the chance to make money once and for all? And it is within our grab? Time to beat the bank?

Zombie attack is possible  Cheesy

The world economy is in turmoil. BTC is deemed to be a hedge but if its also affected, all the more the stock market will be when all investors are at the mercy of the company's production. You can't expect to make profit while the major holders of bonds and shares are trading with inside information.

I think investing in BTC is much better as you could control your funds since it is decentralized system. Sure the volatility is still there but you could avoid these kinds of scenario where there's shady businesses, rug pull, or scam. If you already have the knowledge in investing in stock market why not try cryptocurrencies you could have your own decisions and calls. For you to avoid being betrayed just store your seedphrase somewhere safe or save it to your notes.
What's the point to discuss about volatility? do you think stock, gold, and other assets don't have any volatility? volatility is the reason why someone interested to invest rather than hold their fiat money which the value will always decrease.

What I mean about betrayed is you're tell how much your holdings, address, wallet and the place you stored your seed phrase. You have an option to not tell anyone else about it, in case you don't care if you will lose your coins if something bad happen to you. But I would choose to tell someone I trust rather than lose all of my coins which I accumulated from few years ago.

Remember, any kind of investment is always carrying a risk.

Investing in stock or precious metal you bought on a centralized site will always have a risk of centralization, it's either the business is shady, the site get hacked etc. Investing in physical precious metal has a risk of getting robbed because it's impossible to hide it from anyone else. If you invest in Bitcoin, you can avoid the risk I mentioned before, but it has a risk of lose access to your wallet or someone you trust are betray you.
