Here in our country there's a wallet that you could convert you bitcoins into fiat so that spending you bitcoins was is not a problem. In fact, I have spend my bitcoin in many times by converting it and cash out in some ATM machines. I have already used it to hang out with my friend, bought the I want and many more.

Hello OP, I just want to inform you that it is really not a good idea, spending you bitcoin to buy things that you want or need because you are going to lose the profits that you are going to have if you are going to hold your bitcoin in the long run. Maybe converting first your bitcoin in fiat first is not that bad afterall, but if you are going to convert your bitcoin, make sure that the price of it is fair enough to convert some.

You can search online shop that is already accepting bitcoin and I know a lot of online stores now are accepting it, but it is safer if you wilk check first that online shop before purchasing.

You can invest on altcoinor ICO tokens with proper research make sure you have done enough research before investing on ICO s . I don't recommend buying no things using bitcoin.

Agree, Actually that's what I am doing since past few years. I save and hold my 50% of the coins in cold storage and I try to spend my remaining 50% coins but since we don't have that kind of infrastructure for the bitcoin expenditure, I could never hit the limit of 50% spending. There is not a single merchant in my town accepting bitcoin against goods or service (other than Bitcoin traders). Spending helps the remaining portion to grow in terms of value so, in fact, we can get something for absolutely free considering the long-term growth. So to be honest we shouldn't blame the guy for spending 10K bitcoins for the pizza because it is something that introduced us to the infinite possibilities and the further growth.

You can buy whatever you want with your bitcoins, even if you cannot buy directly with bitcoins, you can buy gift cards or use some services like purse.io and then get whatever product you want, it is really simple, also you get the goods section in this forum that offers some products at good prices.

I would like to suggest you that Don't use your Bitcoin instead of this you should hold for 10 years because I am 100% sure that the price will increase from long time , if you can see at the prediction made by the experienced people than they said that in the last of 2020 the price of the Bitcoin will be 10000$ which is really a big amount , so if you can hold 1 btc then you can turn into your money in three times .
But moreover if you want still use it then invest in the stable coins and then see what will happen in one year , with the increase in the amount of your Bitcoin you will also get more Increase in the value.
So my suggestion for you is to hold not use for fun purpose currently .

There is a lot of things you can do with bitcoi and other altcoins. As you've said, it is a digital currency that can be converted to fiats, which is done by many people. You can also use it to trade to other cryptocurrencies with a good possibility of a price pump. You can make it as a payment, though with the bigger amounts.
