hard times shows us part of what we are made of. some of the things to expect from the bearish market will be the foundation of the project, sustainability and continuity. some coin will go extinct, others might not be able to rise, some will drop in value but get back up again and bitcoin is one those with solid foundation. also some altcoins might survive it to. it will also bring our skills on cryptocurrency ,knowledge ,research, resilience and patience to the surface.

1. Not all your so called "gems" are actually gems, wait for bear market and see how they perform because many of them will die off due to lack to good volume and liquidity.
That is the reason why I'm only investing on the top coins right now. Bear market is the time where these "gems" for different investors are being tested. They will be tested if they can survive with the bear market or they will be just like other projects that will become dead or abandoned.

2. Bear market is like a punisher, it comes with full force and punish all shitcoins that are pretending to be good for investors.
Like I said in the first one, bear market is the time where projects will be tested if they can survive or not. If they will survive then congratulations for them because they are successful but if they can't then there is nothing we can do about it. Most low marketcap coins and shitcoins and maybe lets add those memecoins out there will disappear especially now that the bear market has started already.

3. Even top altcoins will struggle to survive.
I've seen this already during the 2018 "year of hell" and the 2020 "Pandemic Crash". After this, we might see new altcoins at the top and those below might go even higher. Just see Litecoin, XLM, IOTA, and EOS. In the past they are at the top 20 and Litecoin is in the top 5 but now they aren't there anymore.

4. Crypto and BTC will be named SCAM once again.
I don't think so with this. Some crypto tokens might turn out to be a scam or a rug pull but Bitcoin right now will not be labeled as a scam anymore. Those who will see Bitcoin as a scam are those ignorant and newbie investors who doesn't know anything about Bitcoin.

5. There will be more selling pressure than buying and most people wouldn't want to HOLD.
Investors who are panicking right now will surely sell their holdings at a loss but intelligent investors will do the opposite and they will but since they see bear market as an opportunity for them to accumulate more.

6. Launchpads? They will get uglier lol, because once a sell is over the dump will be more massive than those happening in a bull market, Launchpads always suffer a lot.
I will not expect Launchpads right now in the bear market. No one will invest into these new projects because investors right now are at a loss and they will not invest again into new projects in a bear market.

7. BTC will be seen as the most safest place to be, which it is actually.
It is and it has been. Every time time like this happens, I often buy only Bitcoin because it has proved that it is the safest crypto hold right now. More safer than stablecoins out there Cheesy>

8. Many new projects will have a hard time raising enough money to develop their projects
Like I said, no or less new projects will be successful in a bear market and if they will become successful they will not last long because they might not survive in the harsh market that we are in right now. I think as a developer, it would be better if they will just remain patient and wait for the market to recover before they will make new project.

4. Crypto and BTC will be named SCAM once again.
I don't believe this. Unless you are saying people that knows nothing about Bitcoin and Crypto. No crypto personality who knows how the market works will tag Bitcoin a scam due to market crash.
The right thing to say is that this is the time the market dictates and extinct scam coins. Yes, many unrooted projects will die this period.

7. BTC will be seen as the most safest place to be, which it is actually.
Yes, bitcoin is always the safest place to be and everyone knows about this. While shitcoins and some altcoins might not recover, bitcoin will surely recover.

Then, as we are buying the dip, let us still remember to invest what we can afford to lose. If bitcoin is to recover, it will first recover to $45k to $48k before we could talk about the ATH of $69k

In Cryptocurrency bear market gives us opportunity to know some coins that are legit, during a bear market lot's of shitcoins flooding the crypto space always die, they don't survive the bear market. Currently we are having lots of new project in crypto space and lots are still going to enter, most of then are just shitcoin and some of them are scam coins, whenever thier is a bear market it always sweep away those coins and we can clearly see the real coin. Also bear market always give us opportunity to accumulate more coins because thier prices are down then if you are having extral funds then you should be able to accumulate more at a cheaper price.

Probably you are right. This is because new investors are mroe prone to panic selling and will not overcome fear cause bear market in crypto are totally different from stocks. Its literally a blood bath killer to every traders and investors. For thosw who have deep pockets this is am opportunity but for those who have heavy losses this is hell to them. A nightmare that they wish never came.

Even safer than some stable coins.

This is the time when  a lot of people will understand why most cryptocurrency veterans have more than 70-80% of their portfolio in Bitcoin (or even 100%).

Bitcoin will most probably recover from this crash. Most altcoins won't.

In short term we do really some amazing altcoin opportunities. But in the long term, bitcoin is the king.
Yes, what you said is totally coherent!

We had proof of that some days ago, Terra Luna collapsed and turned to dust, unfortunately! I saw it in the worst possible way.

Bitcoin's fundamentals have been intact for over 1 decade, in fact it is the best "safe haven" we can have!  Smiley

In a bear market 3 things are always guaranteed:
1. A large amount of FUD about bitcoin
2. A massive dump (bigger than the bitcoin drop) in all the altcoins without exceptions
3. A market cleanup where a decent number of shitcoins die and are removed from the market

As a bonus something else is also guaranteed which is the "smart money" buying bitcoin in the dip silently.

I think we can all many altcoins fair-weather gems. They are gems while the market is running smoothly. They may not appear absolute shitcoins because they have the community, the volume, the visibility, and so on. But once the entire market will plunge into the worst of times and these fair-weather gems will fall hard just like the rest, many of them won't be able to recover anymore. The worst of bear markets is a shitcoin killer. It would put to death so many altcoins.

But their death is not due to lack of good volume or liquidity. Those are simply effects. The main cause of these shitcoins' death is the lack of the most basic reason to exist. Most of them don't have a working product, sustainable tokenomics, or even the smallest development.

Yeah, that's true. I wonder how sometimes many people say about hidden gems, but when the market drop and is bearish, the coins or tokens are heading to dead. This means they are fake gems   Grin
Just still be careful when looking for certain altcoins, moreover they are hype enough and said as hidden gems or something that will be very promising in the future.

3. Even top altcoins will struggle to survive.
Top coins may survive from the ebarish market. But, some may not be able to reach their ATH again when passing the bear market, like the rpevious condition. This really proves which are the best top coins

8. Many new projects will have a hard time raising enough money to develop their projects.
I think that currently, even in the bearish market, bullish era, or even in the period of changing time, new projects seem like having hard time to collect funds and sell their tokens if they cannot make it hype.

Another bear market is here again, it's something that happens after a bull market, it just like a normal saying that everything that goes up must surly come down. So this is were bitcoin holders will recover from the crash but I have a big doubt for Altcoin, Bitcoin definitely bounce back.

For new alts maybe I will also get doubt if they cam recover but for those altcoins.at the top which has been tested for so many bear season I guess potential is there because like bitcoin they survive and recover also got their ATH on some time. But on this season I most say that its good to add more bitcoin in our portfolio because for sure we can see more great changes on it im future.
Majority of the new projects in the market end up as scams, the reason why most investors should avoid them as they can only be a source for losses. If you want to invest, stick with old and established altcoins, and with bitcoin, because no matter how high the volatility in the market, bitcoin and those great altcoins with high potentials will always recover their value that made long term investors gain more profits than short term.

This bear season is always a great opportunity to buy potential coins around that will sustain its value in the market. But if you really want to gain the most advantage in the market, focus on bitcoin. It will never leave you in losses, but will give you the biggest profits if you intend to hold it for long term. Also, investing in established altcoins this time is also a great idea, as they will always recover after every fall of prices.

At the end of the day, bitcoin will always dominate the crypto market. Although its not really a safe haven, but in all crypto coins that are existing, bitcoin will always be the safest coin to invest. Other than that, shitcoins will always be the coins we should learn to avoid. Legends know that for sure, but for newbies, they will always have different views on that.

This is what I observe during the last bearish season...
- everything is down
- panic selling increases
- old-timer investors are buying
- the forum and news are more on negative thoughts than positive views
- many projects will die
- some miners will quit

I expect this will be happening again, maybe some areas will show some change like panic selling but the rest, I was very certain of that. We have to be prepared, that was the best thing to do, otherwise.

the Bear market is normal to those who already know about Bitcoin and actually, this is what other traders and whales want to happen with Bitcoin and other Crypto because they can buy at much lower prices.

About calling Bitcoin and Crypto a scam I don't think they will call it a scam since many people right now know about Bitcoin may be before I have experience before to tell about Bitcoin to my friend but they told me it's a scam and it's a pyramid scheme but right now it's impossible they will call it a scam.

If you research a bit about the history of Bitcoin every block halving Bitcoin block reward is split into half and that is the day that you should focus on when buying Bitcoin because after block halving you will notice of increase in value gradually which is a sign of Bull market and right now while bear market better waits for a good time to buy while in a bear market.

Regardless of the price, it is like me hiding my money underneath a bunker where nobody will have any access except me during these bearish season. It does not stop me also from buying more.
For #4, bruh it's been like that when I told my former friends about it. I do not care nonetheless even when they said it is a scam meanwhile I am stacking up on my Bitcoins waiting for the recovery.

"Buy the tip", they said by the way.

2. Bear market is like a punisher, it comes with full force and punish all shitcoins that are pretending to be good for investors.
Bear market is not a punisher, it's just a natural thing that has to happen after the bull market, what goes up, must come down. You have to try to catch the highest high or the desired profit, but you should stand firm and don't break if you fail.

5. There will be more selling pressure than buying and most people wouldn't want to HOLD.
The charts, the people, everyone always tells and suggests you to not sell bitcoin, I don't think there is or will be a pressure to sell from others but the pressure from inner self will probably be to sell as soon as possible when the bear continues for days, weeks and more.

In short term we do really some amazing altcoin opportunities. But in the long term, bitcoin is the king.
Bitcoin set a new standard in the financial world and that's why it is king right now.
