Probably, one of the good platform to get an information about in trading communities is Altcointalks forum, Beermoney forum, and
Bitcointalk forum, these platforms are very helpful to everyone who wants to feed themselves about in learning cryptocurrency, Bitcoin and etc. This is just a thought and observation of mine only.

Great discussion everyone!

I wasn't very clear about what I am looking for. Basically, I am trying to get involved with people who deal in crypto in general & looking for a good community of traders to discuss topics with.

I am not looking for signals or pump & dumps & I am not coerced easily by social media posts & such without my own research.

Where I live, I do not know anyone personally who is in the crypto space & not expecting to find anyone, anytime soon. Like @TheNineClub has answered, looking to build more personal relationships to share thoughts & more, so if anyone knows a good group of people whom welcomes anyone, that's what I am looking for!

Thank you all for the responses & hope to get to know all of you & more soon enough!

You're probably not going to find a trading community that doesn't have some sort of pump & dump/FUD element to it. There is just no way.

Even when people seem to be professional (as they appear to be on Tradingview), they are just pulling TA out of their ass and using it to support their arbitrarily crafted investment thesis.

Perhaps bitcointalk would be your best bet, then. The speculation community generally holds some truth amidst the chaos. I would advise you stay away from TG groups.

What is your favorite trading community? Reddit, discord, telegram, etc.
Telegram for discussions about prices, tokens, and new exchanges. Bitcointalk community for knowledge, and Reddit for funny and sometimes useful links.

for trading purposes, I think the Trading Discussion section here on bitcointalk can give you enough hangout place for some ideas on how you could increase your chance to profit.
Indeed bitcointalk is underrated when it comes to the information you can gain. I learned a lot about bitcoins in general from the forum, whether it was how to sign a message using the private key or it was about how mining actually works. The trading Discussion section is sometimes repetitive in terms of content but it's still useful and everytime I visit, I learn something new.

Telegram is full of scammers so I rather prefer channels for knowledge and some selective groups that I know don't have many spammers.

The problem with joining groups is that anyone can message you in private from these groups and tell their story with a common motive of trying to scam some money.

Reddit is a good place to start, specially if you are a newbie because you are going to be fascinated to read a lot of hints and tips. But don't believed everything though, you still have to used your common sense. You can also dig deeper here in this community, and if you one one good trader or speculator, at least follow his posts or tips, you can surely learn a thing or two.

You can choose different random groups if you are a trader and didn't rely on one community, more communities to join the more chance that you will learn more in crypto trading. Before I have joined the telegram group and since I am in binance trading I'd joined their local telegram which is there are too many traders there sharing their experienced. And through that experience the shared, you will learn a lot from them which one you will avoid or you can do it while it is early.

But of course, they do not have any guarantee to have the exact information, to gather more you will need to find more social media or any groups that you can learn more about crypto.

Hire Bitcointalk Camp. Manager @ r7promotions.com
Random groups on social media where the people are fun discussing about the market and more memes of burning while trading.  Tongue

But usually, I'm only on the forum reading people sharing their thoughts about the market and their experiences. Some telegram channels too but I only read and don't interact a lot.

So far, telegram is the source and group that I am always following to.
However, whatever the group, ensure that the group is reputable and also not fake. There are so many fake accounts that are there around you. So, whatever the grou[, just be careful, never join the group of investment with very very promising profits in instant ways.

There are different platforms on which you will find information related to trading that gives information which can affect the particular price but most importantly it's our own judgement how we take the opportunity of that news to shift momentum towards our own side and enjoy profits from them in the long run

Various sources include Reddit where influential people will guide you through various trading tips.

Instagram pages, twiiter news,BBC channel related to business,Telegram signal groups,Google, Bitcointalk forum or social interaction with people actively involyin trading feild. The combination of all of them will lead you to the right path of success.

reddit, discord and telegram have many private or public places or groups that talk about crypto. I have several crypto groups that I have built myself with my friends. I also don't follow the group that much. Only a few important groups about crypto, the latest news and besides that Twitter is an important place too, because Twitter is one of the latest sources of information about crypto that I rely on. and there are also lots of trash groups that only contain FOMO that trap a lot of people.

It is better to hang around with friends that we know to learn from them because we can get a real lesson than to watch on social media from a person that we do not know.
At least, if you can discuss with your friends, you can get more information from them to analyze the market.
Usually, they will tell their analysis to follow their analysis and see something or ask them if you do not get their point.
If you follow some groups or channels, you need to be careful because we do not know if they will share something that can make you panic. You need to analyze more to find what you need to do base on the market situations.

The first to address is that we should not depend on any community for trading, we need to learn it in and out before making any steps towards trading. I do make use of many trading community, but not so helpful especially for day traders. I have had to learn trading the hard way to help. What I believe most in trading is the technical analysis, I do not use that to play and give more positive result than others. Also I believe much in fundamental analyses, like buying when I read on news about Tesla investing $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin. Both analyses are very important m which is the bases of success in trading.

I follow Techtipstogo and The Dude since a few months ago. Their community is decent enough if you want to search for opportunities and share ideas with others, but obviously, there's a lot of shillers who only post and promote their projects with low-quality posts. Both of them are on Telegram.

You can always move your topic with the move function, check out at the bottom of the page. Should be there.

I've just usually follow some page and groups but not particularly on a group where discussions are open. I'm more on information page where they are sharing their thoughts and analysis on the market. But for trading purposes, I think the Trading Discussion section here on bitcointalk can give you enough hangout place for some ideas on how you could increase your chance to profit.

Social media is somewhat risky for newbies sometimes, there are quite a lot of impersonators and scammers either hacking people's accounts or posing as trading 'experts' to trick and scam people, and they also sell fake signals or redirect newbies into their PM's to trick them there.

Having said that, being a member of one trading community or the other isn't a bad thing in itself, but joining to seek investment advice or for one 'expert' or the other to tutor you is what's bad, you could enjoy the discussions there in, form your opinion as well as add it to your own research while you trade, and it's better to filter out the scam information you come across.

hmph..
For me, I'm very often to check on tradingview ideas page, and from twitter. I think this place is better to find good discussion about trading chart and analytics. Sometimes also join in Trading Discussion board and Local thread here.

There's a lot of shitposting though, so yea.
This kind of post will be found everywere, for twitter I using filter or even muted account that mostly just makes a shitposting there. and just follow account some account who not posting a FOMO or FUD, so far it works for me.

Reddit for sure as you can get sound info and have a laugh at the same time. It's definitely not to everyone's liking. But besides that, what made more sense to me and was more beneficial to me was the connections I made with people in my area and also some others from afar, and the formation of a Telegram group where we exchange ideas, thoughts, and experiences regarding crypto. I have learned much of what I know through those close contacts and with that type of personalized communication. So if I had to advise one thing it would be that, form connections to people in the community and try to connect to them on a more personal level.
