I use all of them and I'm comfortable with none. All because a satoshi is 10e-8 and not 10e-9. Seriously, the metric system is based on a 10e3 rythmn:
- 1,000 is a thousand (10e3)
- 1,000,000 is a million (10e6)
- 1,000,000,000 is a billion (10e9)
- etc

And in the decimals:
- 0.001 is milli (10e-3)
- 0.000 001 is micro (10e-6)
- 0.000 000 001 is nano (10e-9)
- etc

Why did Satoshi decide to fuck logic when creating the "satoshi" unit? I know that he wanted to make people think that he was Japanese but then he should have based bitcoin on a 10e-4 system from the start. Here everyone can see that the logic is western but just fucks up at the very end.
I mean, just one more zero before the 1 and it would have been equal to a nano-bitcoin. But no, fuck logic, a satoshi is equal to a hundredth microbitcoin. And yes, because of that it's much harder to comprehend.

I get confused when some dice or gambling sites shows my balance in different form like bits, mbtc etc. I like to see my bitcoin in BTC form, for fiat also we use 0.01$ rather than cent. I also feel same for bitcoin and want it as whole bitcoin form.

i think most people will choose an option most closest to 1 dollar, euro or pound. so that would be 0.001 for now and then 0.0001 in 6 months

but these fiat lovers are not thinking long term. im already using full bitcoins or 'bits' measure of 0.00000100, as i see the long term advantage of getting standardizing things for the long term and not just immediate-short term recognition

I prefer Satoshi's as it is the easiest to comprehend to those who are unaware of bitcoins denominator values.

If I was designing bitcoin from new I would've started with bits or mbtc from minute one. Unless you were born into tech skillz the normal human brain simply doesn't process small amounts priced in btc well. I think it's definitely a factor in turning off newbies.

the milibit is the best possible measure at least fornow. It is suitable and it can be treated as a cent.

Im curious about the statistics on this nowadays. Honestly I don't know if it's only me but im still used to BTC, even if it would be seen as inconvenient with small amounts, might be because I used BTC only for years. Lately I also learned dealing and managing in satoshis when I started getting small payments because of the sig campaigns. Im really slow when it comes to math so this helped me (experiencing it by using it yourself).
BTC + sat for me then, maybe BTC if I really had to choose.
