I'm interested in playing bitcoin and getting to know bitcoin when bitcoin prices reach $ 2500 and it's now over $ 15000 how profitable when I buy that price.

I first heard about it when the price had shot up and gone off to space (at the time), back in 2013 where it had hit over $1k/BTC and everyone was surprised about it. Then everything started to move off in its own way and there was the turbulence of the Mt. Gox collapse and the market crash that lingered afterwards.

Oh, so be it though. It's not like there's been anything significant back then which affects us now. There's nothing we can change and pushing through the rest of time is the best we can do. I wish I heard about it, and got into it earlier, but there's only wishful thinking and speculation. Chances are I would have ignored it back then.

I play bitcoin and know bitcoin when bitcoin prices are very high about $ 5000 and I feel sad because it is late to recognize bitcoin.

I first encountered Bitcoin with a value of $400.71. Time flies fast as now it has increased to a value of $16,000+ and it’s been growing each year.

I beat all of you... 2012 March bitcoin was $4.50 but I bought my first btc at $5...nonetheless I still ended up purchasing 300btc in Febuary 2013 when it was only $14 and ended up trading most of them losing my coins in the first bubble of 2013 when price was @$240 and ddos on MtGox made it crash to $90 within 30 seconds...fml

well when I first heared about bitcoin, its value is still worth less than a $1k but I am nit interested at that time. I only git interested on it when its price is already $3000, I am very dissapointed to myself by not imveating on that time but we cannot turn back time. But still I earn alot since then from tradings and campaigns that I joined, I can say I am still lucky considering howuch bitcoin is today.

Oh dude I am so sorry for you. That was a time when bitcoin was really so cheap and it was affordable for majority of people. Now, prices have jumped so high that you can’t even think of buying one batch at this time. It even feels to me sometimes that why I didn’t know about bitcoin at that time. And I am sure that happens with all of us that if we would have known this, we would have bought it.

I heard about bitcoin first when it came out in 2010 because I was on the SilkRoad debating to buy weed or a fake ID and it was about 8-10 cents I think. Really kicking myself now but I was so young at the time and had no financial or investor perspective.

I still haven't bought any because I'm interested in growth potential and I think there are better opportunities to be found in alts.

I heard 2016 something i remember when Bitcoin price is 400$+ but when i did not know deeply about Bitcoin.
I started Bitcoin earning in February 2017 than still now i am strongly involved and continue my work with BTC.

Mine was in 2015, bitcoin price $210... when I first heard about bitcoin it was cheap to buy and you know I keep asking people advice whether to buy or not. In fact, there was a time when I sent money to my friend in U.S to buy me bitcoins but he failed me for no reason and I can't buy bitcoins in my country because it is not supported by Coinbase.

I feel very guilty when I compare the price of Bitcoin because then I start calculating how much I have paid extra just because of the increase in price. I don't deny that I have also got few money just because of the increase in price but the price increase makes me both happy and sad. For eg , I had bought a game worth 7 USD last year and today when I see my transactions it says I paid 120 USD !

Hi there shamzblueworld! I have heard it around four years ago. Unfortunately, after hearing the good benefit the bitcoin have, what follows is the hack accident of Mt Gox which drastically lower the price of bitcoin. After hearing that I stop reading news about it. Eventually one year later, I again hear the bitcoin and in its second coming the price from less than a thousand is now on almost two thousand. What I did next is to rebump my mining rig, which still did not return a positive value. I try to purchase using an app and eventually see the dramatic increase. 

really can't remember anymore because as in then when i heard of bitcoin it was around 300 to 350, but wen i have interest in bitcoin it was now in 3500 yet i was thinking it was not legit but surprisingly today bitcoin is $15,768.40, which i m so amazed about it. hopefully it will get 22k to 25k by the end of this December or January and i know that is the dreams of everyone that invest on btc.

i have started know bitcoin when it was on 6000usd now its whooping 16k dollars.. so fast to climb up..

 I heard it when it was like 2500 usd but when I started it was already 4k usd and bow it is already 16k usd. And I started only like less thab a year ago. The price of bitcoin is surprising but I am not really surprised whn it reaches its peak as it has tha capacity to increase like what it is right now as it is the number 1 cryptocurrency and it survives for many years already

It would have been but i showed up too late to get free coins and had no savings to spend on it nor did i want to.
I refused to spend REAL money buying fake digital internet coins.
It took a special kind of lunatic to be buying them up back then.
An average person with commons sense would not have been here buying them after it launched.
At least not mortgaging their house or spending their savings to do it.
Unlike now where that is exactly what people are doing..

I can proudly say my involvement had nothing to do ever with buying coins.
I showed up and started mining then took what ever dust i collected and traded up.. bit by bit.
It wasn't easy either.. it took maybe a little over a month to get 1 single Litecoin worth a couple dollars in mid 2013.
I had to learn what the word FIAT meant and get a crash course in economics etc.
I had no previous "Forex" trading experience.
I had to make mistakes and learn from them.

I quickly learned morality / ideology is a central key aspect to all of crypto.
You will be challenged.

Anyway, i am confident the atmosphere surrounding "crypto" has changed dramatically since then.
It was a "nerd" thing back in the old days and changed soon after i got here late 2013.
For example i got here in the scene when i got flamed for calling it a scene. LOL
I showed up approximately a month and a half after Cryptsy opened for Altcoin trading.
What i am alluding to is how the bar was lowered..so bad it's been scraping on the ground for years.

The thread is a nice one, It is really making me to have a flash back. I knew about bitcoin when it was $300  and the first bitcoin I bought was about 0.03btc.

I've been talking about bitcoin to people since I was in high-school and always have gotten the same blank stare. I remember being on a different forum and thinking "$80 is way too much for a bitcoin", and then getting upset with the currency exchanger thinking he was trying to pull one over on me. I was talking about bitcoin, trading, earning in small ways before I even thought about the price, but the first time that I can actually remember seeing a price put on a coin was at about $50 per coin.

It's honestly a shame I didn't put more into bitcoin when I thought that $80 was too much for a coin, I'd have a nicer car.  

I had so many discouraging people tell me it didn't make sense, it would crash, it would never be worth any "real" money; I'll never get caught sleeping on bitcoin again, it's getting my full attention these days and I know it'll pay off when years down the road $15,000 a coin will be a distant memory.
