I think I read an article about someone who have bought a pizza or two with Bitcoin and I always thought it was a gimmick and not something with real value. So I bought 10 bitcoins and kept it in a paper wallet. I forgot about it for about a year and then I saw a news article where the price went crazy. I sold 5 bitcoins for a huge profit and bought some games and gadgets with that money. The price dropped again and I decided to hoard it for another year. That turned into a couple of years and I recently sold all of them to pay off some debt.

I have bought in at $400 to $700 again, so I still have some bitcoins that are hoarded in cold storage. ^smile^

My first time was in 2016, I wish it was earlier than that. My first incoming transaction was 0.2btc. Then, I was introduced to a Ponzi scheme by a friend and I was so eager to get some cash but unluckily the 0.1btc I put in zapped. And that was how my journey started with bitcoin when I noticed the remaining 0.1btc in my blockchain wallet had increase in value. Then my research began, started using bitcoin for transactions, storing some if necessary and so on and so forth. Happy for the scheme though, at least it opened my eye sort of to what I had been missing and eventually got my money back from the increase in value.

I know bitcoin since one year ago, I know that's too late but I feel grateful to know it. My first incoming transaction? Of course it is from epay that collect my faucets works and sent it to my exchange address. Lol
I am really happy to use bitcoin now from the first transaction, it's attracted me more and more.

It is just recent and i still remember the time and the date. It was just this month june 3, 2017 at 02:07am. That was the first time i ever had something in my wallet. It wasnt big but it made me so damn happy. And every time i look at it i just cant help but smile. Even though its worth is just 1 dollar which some of you guys here might think is pretty worthless. But still it is my treasure. Still have it and didn't spend it. I got it from a twitter campaign here i dont know what it was but yeah it's where my 1 dolllar worth of btc came from.

In the Q3 2016 my first BTC payment came in as my incoming transaction. Obviously it was from a faucet and a renowned one. 30000 Satoshi was my first one. Though I started to know about BTC, but only new about faucets, so it took much time to gather the threshold.

i remember it was like 13 February 2011. i made my first coins from an faucet site. they where paying like 1000satoshi per hour at that time and i received my first transaction into my wallet of 0.0001Btc it take me a lot of hard work and time to reach 0.011btc and i payed 0.001btc as transaction fees . after that i realized that blockchain.info and there wallet takes only 0.0001btc transaction fees. thats how i learnt my first mistake and after that my first huge txd was around 2013 when a guy from Facebook gifted me 0.016btc for no reason.

If I remember correctly, then my first Bitcoin receipts came from a faucet site in 2016. I spent so much time and effort on it, and received around BTC0.01. At that time, it was worth around $2.50. I wasn't a member of Bitcointalk then, and I was unaware of the other earning opportunities, such as signature campaigns and logo designing.

still running my original core wallet from june 2011.

just checked my 1st transaction.. 0.35 btc from slush on june 16, 2011.

that was with mining with my HD4850. it was more of an experiment than a money making endeavor or to be part of the crypto scene. more like to see maybe i can help finance a new video card if this one makes money.

used slush as my 1st pool as they had the best instructions on how to setup a miner.

anyone else care to share their 1st incoming transaction and where it was from?
My first transaction from stellar coin in 2014. it is the thing that makes me more interested in bitcoin.

My first bitcoin was actually from a faucet, can't remember its name exactly but I have made a withdrawal of 100k satoshi from it. I got that in one of my address which I got from blockchain.info wallet but I am not using that wallet right now.

0.35BTC in 2011 wasn't worth a lot and couldn't be counted as money Tongue

As far as I remember my first incoming transaction was from a faucet probably as I was experimenting too.

I can't remember the value but it should be thousands of satoshis which wasn't worth anything at that time but now its some cents.

My first incoming transaction was on start of January 2015 and I received 0.00068889 btc from freebitco.in. I know it's very small amount, but I was very happy to get my first satoshis. I'm sure that many people received their first bitcoins from faucets.

It's been a while now, somwhere in 2013 but I remember that it was 0.5 Bitcoins, I just don't remember the source. I remember I was very excited about my first Bitcoins. This wasn't such big amount of money like today because the price was much lower then but still I felt like I'm holding big fortune.
