If only there were some sort of consensus or answer that a significant number of people all agreed on.  It's so confusing when there are so many different answers.

There is a space in REMEMBER IT! and it wont let me use it. Should I use without a space? Also wants a number Thanks?

Sorry, I'll get me coat

I get the impression that BurtW might not catch on to your particular brand of humor.

He'll get used to it. Or maybe not Smiley

Thanks guys. Still as clear as mud haha j/k
Please ask a more specific question.  To be clear:

Point your favorite (modern) browser to  http://blockchain.info/wallet
Press the big blue button which says "Start A New Wallet"
Set up an alias or "name" for your wallet, perhaps "Aztec"
Come up with a good password - REMEMBER IT!
Type in the Captcha
Press the continue button

Continue to follow the instructions.  If you have any questions post them here.

blockchain.info BECAUSE:
* Your wallet is not accessed by blockchain.info in any way, it's all done by downloading javascript to your browser, which then opens the *ENCRYPTED AND NOT ACCESSED* wallet from blockchain.info.
* It's lightweight
* It has a nice API (I'm a developer Smiley)
* It's the easiest bitcoin wallet ever
* It's responsive
..... and so on.

Burt, perhaps you weren't paying attention to what was written...

The "haha j/k" is an indication of sarcasm, meaning that the previous statement "still clear as mud" is the opposite of the poster's feelings on the matter.

I use an offline wallet for savings (for max security, not taking any risk with my money) and blockchain.info/wallet for spare change because it just works so very simple and user friendly. And still reasonably safe.

I have used flexcoin.com since 2011 and never had any issues with them; you also gain some "profit" a small % per year just like a savings account ( they share out the transaction fees proceeds)

Any guess what this was about then?

Flexcoin announced a security breach today,

http://blockchain.info

Instawallet is not as secure, and the others are to new.

Caveat here:  Put a small % of your BTC in online hot wallet.  The rest 90% goes into a cold offline wallet.
