What I when I first found out about bitcoin was to research about it. That's always my first instinct, I did research and I was very impressed with what I found so I invested what I could but didn't buy much. I wish I had bought more now.

I knew back in 2010 that this will be huge but I haven't money to invest. If I know that 500$ will be enough to be a millionaire I would invest for sure but I thought that min investment should be 5000 to 10.000 and I couldn't afford it. I have mined few BTC on my regular old laptop back then. After that litecoin mining and trade of course.

my friends advised me to deal with crypto currency. Initially unknown, as a rule, causes a sense of apprehension, but having communicated with knowledgeable people and practically immersing myself in the process, I estimated the possibilities of this currency.

When I first started with Bitcoin, I learned to make a mistake by never making a mistake in the course of making a mistake myself, even when I had a sia coin and I got 250 and I was excited and sold it when it was 270. Maybe it was a fall but I learned that sia coin 350-360 it is the most logical move.

I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy

Well obviously, all of us here started as dumb people about crypto currencies. The only thing that I know has made a difference is the time when we got engaged in this industry and how more dedicated an individual is from another that he puts great efforts into learning and into earning. Although not all of us got scammed, I can say that it is completely natural to happen when you wanna succeed. You will take risks and suffer consequences of your mistakes but learn from them and become better at what you do. I am glad that I haven't been scammed yet. And it is all thanks to the experiences of others that I have read that I have managed to keep myself away from those things. But I still have a lot to learn and looking at my portfolio, I literally cannot say that I am even a bit close to having a financial freedom. But even so, I am willing to give my all for my dreams and I believe that I can reach it if I just put the effort into it. good day.

I read several months about Bitcoin before I decided to get a bit and try it out.
So I informend myself pretty well I think which wallet I would like to use and how and where to get some Bitcoin.
Therefore my first experience had been pretty good.

As a beginner my experiences in Bitcoin when I first started is very confusing. There's a lot of questions bother in my mind on how to do it and how to get into of it. I started asking with my co-employee who was already expert users of bitcoin. He explained a lot of information about this crytocurrency and teach me how to join forums to get started into. So, I am very lucky that I have a very good and kind person (my co-employee) who helps and teach me of what really bitcoin is. I started like this and I'm thankful and quite happy about this scenario. A good started experience for me in knowing bitcoin.

my first experience when it started in bitcoin may not be a fun experience because I started it wrong, I did not know anything at that time so I decided to buy bitcoin at a high price, sometime later the bitcoin price had fallen so low and I got panicked then sell it, of course I lose a lot and that is a mistake, should I hold it and not sell it because bitcoin price has recovered and rise very high

All I knew when I first started is that I should get in and that it was a great innovation.  At the time it was high 200's and I was a bit nervous since all I knew were two things:
-the mt. gox scandal
-and the amazing capabilities btc has to change the world financially at least

I decided that I want to support this concept of banking the unbanked and smooth easy financial transactions and hesitantly bought a few.

Of course after buying, the frenzy of research started and I learned so much more.  This forum was fantastic for beginner knowledge.

Oh well the good ol days were pretty terrible to be honest. I was massive confused, just going from place to place trying to understand how the whole thing worked. A lot of reading and confusion and a lot of getting nowhere, I just knew there was something special about this and that I should keep paying attention. After time I started learning why Bitcoin is insanely important and why anyone that wasn't holding at least 1 is simply crazy. I started putting a lot of time into it and now im proud of my small stack of BTC that I will hold long time.

My first ever experience with BTCitcoin was mining using multiple GPU's back in late 2011. It was really fun then since most miners would customize their whole chassis and showcased it in social networks and was like a contest of who has the best mining setup then and (have to admit, it was addicting and at the same time fun). The only sad part was, one my GPU's gave up so far (less than a week of mining 24/7) so my ROI was gone but overall I managed to get it covered with proper management.

When I decided to get into bitcoin it was because my brother told me he had just been entering the bitcoin world. I had already heard of it, but didn't realize how fast it was growing.

I remember buying my first 0.1 bitcoin for about 47 euro back in the beginning of the Nov 2013 rally. I was constantly checking the charts seeing that 47 euro flutuating between 40 and 60 euro. I tried to day trade a bit, but obviously lost around 0.01 by FOMO after selling and buying back at a loss. After that I slowly started building my stack by buying more and getting into the altcoin scene where I made a nice amount from mining with 2 gpus.

Was an interesting ride, but nowadays I mainly buy some (fractions of) coins on a monthly basis and earn a bit on the side through the sig campaign to work on my total holdings.

It was very difficult when I was started into bitcoin.  Because, no one is believing me about it and I don't have enough money to sustain my expenses, and everyday I rented in the internet shop. Usually, I borrowed money to my friend then pay it every week according to my payout in the campaign. I patiently do it, its  started with a small amount  and I hold on to what I'm believing in about into bitcoin. And now I think I am harvesting the fruit of my labor since last year.

obviously almost all of us experience a verry hard time when dealing with bitcoins at the start becuase bitcoin were indeed hard to understand due to its complexity and other technical aspects. But eventually after we learn the basics of of it , we feel that it is verry rewarding because bitcoin can surely give you a free money whenever you have some of it.  right now , i can say that i have still many things to learn pertaining on bitcoin but i dont want to stressed out my brain to early.

Most/all of us come into the Bitcoin game as rookies and some of us never change. It takes awhile to get your head around everything, took me a few months.

In the beginning I was lucky and had good experiences from mining and not so good experiences from learning to trade. It took a few lost Bitcoin to understand I never wanted to keep giving my coin away trading both Bitcoin and Alts.

I've learned a lot along the way and trading being the main one. It has been a great experience so far and heres to hoping the future is as bright as the past has been!
