As a beginner, my most profitable coin so far has been omisego.

Power Ledger remains for me the most profitable coin. I was bought at the IKO at 0.08 cents. Part sold for 1.10 dollars for 1 coin.
I participated in a bounty campaign from Canya. I received honestly earned tokens, they went to the stock exchange and the price was on them in the region of 4 - 4.5 $, and I did not sell them, I waited until the price is still growing. And now their price is 0.65 $.

Way back then there was this coin called communitycoin. They've distributed them all to users here, each stake was around ~1btc.

As of now I got INS, TIO token and i'm holding it for the future and soon it will be added to my tokens are credits, sphere & NTOK token.
I started with Bytecoin, got at 5~6 sats. 
My most profitable coin so far has been stratis as I bought stratis when it went to as 0.30 cents and sold it for 10 dollars .
Every one has different strategies in terms of trading coins and holding coins.

For me it's Monero. It's not ICO/Airdrop, but still a coin worth mentioning, I hope. I've bought some in the days of 0.5$-2$ prices. I wish I would have bought more and would have hold them more.
The good thing is that I still have some and I don't plan to touch them in the next 2 years.

Personally, I would sell monero why the price is still high. There is too much competition with privacy coins and I have a strong feeling monero will crash hard.
There's competition for all types of coins. This is not a valid reason for the price to "crash hard".
And for now, Monero is still better than its competitors.
Also, right now the amount of Monero I have is not enough for my targets (at least pay all my debts), so I better leave it rise more. I believe that the best privacy coin should reach a couple of thousands sooner or later. I hope it'll be Monero.

Last year I received profit from bitcoin and xmr and this year I try eth and ltc. About new coin from ICO, I never invest/ trade with it anymore. Since I got loss with KICK make stress really bad. Actually, every coin has the same profitable opportunity for us to create profit but as long we know real market work and always using stop loss, our asset will grow up.
my profitable token is tbx. it is my first token obtained from bounty. I am very happy when it is sold and get 0.5 ETH . just from facebook bounty
I think for me, from my own experience. Recently i earn in fluz and ntok, maybe these two coins are my most profitable coins/tokens cause the ICO looks successful so that they pay us good and their coins value in the market is kinda stable. So thats the most profitable coins for me for now.
As of now, the price of my TIO tokens are low and I am anticipating its increase the moment its exchange site is launched, maybe mid-year. I also have some tokens from airdrops like FAMILY, VLB and FLUZ. I know these are all new coins. The FAMILY tokens have no value as of now and since it was quite a failure (the ICO), I am sad to say that I won't get profit out of it. My FLUZ and VLB tokens were just new and I think the ICOs were successful. However, I do not expect too much profit out of it since I only have a few of them from telegram airdrops.
As for me, the most profitable coin was Trade. I have profitted from it and i am still hodling it.
I used to get 4000 REBEL tokens and still hold it. It's currently worth about $ 300, but I expect a few more months to reach $1/REBL
