Bitcoin price has no effect on Valentine's Day  Because the price of bitcoin has no effect on it and no people and government can control bitcoin  This is a coincidence Bitcoin is usually sustained depending on the market conditions. As Bitcoin's investment grows its demand will increase Nothing compares to this.

I don't think that it had affected the price of crypto at all.
Unless a rich person on crypto would like to cash out a huge amount just to surprise their partner.
I don't see any other way that Valentine's day would affect the market.

valentines day isnt only for the rich people . most people celebrate it , poor or rich and most of this are btc user i believe because btc is already dominating . now these people involved on btc will just sold some of thier coins to buy a gift for thier partners but maybe there will also buyers that wlll buy more btc and the btc is the one that they will be using as a form of gift to thier partner  .  that idea is trending lately  , not just for valentines but for almost all occasions pupolarly on christmas and new year  .

maybe the OP considers Valentine's Day to be a very important day for cryptocurrency so that it can have a price effect on price movements, really this makes me laugh out loud because there are still people who consider Valentine's Day important.

We are investing in a volatile cryptocurrency and yesterday is not something that would affect the price of Bitcoin.

Despite the changes that happened in the past, it is just a mere coincidence that it happened at that time. Valentine's Day is not the time where whales or big investors buy a lot of BItcoin and there is this certain time that they will be dropping them off. It might be possible but whales don't do things like that, what they are doing now is just changing their wallets every now and then.

Not everyone is celebrating Valentines and I don't really think it affects Bitcoin price. There's other reason of the increase but not really nor directly related to Valentine's Day at all. Valentines is more on buying chocolates, flowers and gifts so I can't really find the correlation between the two.  Unless most of us were using Bitcoin or crypto on buying those gifts, but no. I can't really say that it's because of Valentines because for the past days and weeks, bitcoin's price is increasing and it just happened that it also increase the same day with Valentines.

Since 2015, valentine's day has been very positive for bitcoin as well as for ether. Every valentine's day with the exception of 2019, has been positive in the case of bitcoin, with the highest daily return of more than 9% occuring in 2018, will 2019 Valentine's follows the same trend as last years ..
How do you guys even come up with this kind of comparisons? It is really hilarious! This is just a total coincidence. Instead of saying price rises every valentines day, you can also think of it like this, every beginning of the year, the price of crypto currencies starts to rise. This would make more sense.
You don't have to always find weird reasons when bitcoin starts to rise. Wouldn't be surprised if someone now asks if the price rise is due to recent corona virus outbreak.

What a stupid question! I just wait to see the question "how the sunrise affects Bitcoin price?".
It's really hard to understand that anyone who is seriously involved in Bitcoin would pose such a question or really think there is any connection between Bitcoin price and Valente's day. This makes me laugh.

There's nothing wrong with asking some questions about the event if it will affect bitcoin or not. In some ways, I'm pretty sure that even a little, it has an effect to the market. Due to the Valentine's Day, demands in some goods will increase its demand and bitcoin can be used in some transactions so they will experience less hassle. If you don't want this kind of question, it is still your choice if you will ignore it or post about it. Mind your own business and people here wants to learn more and be updated about the happenings in the market and bitcoin.

thanks for answering my question sir, and yes in the near future when bitcoin will use as a payment Gateway globaly by people, The Days like valentine's day, christmas day etc will surely effect the bitcoin price.

Technically, Valentine's day is just a normal day in crypto. No direct effect nor impact.

Around 9% growth within a day is normal even on a bearish market. We are currently on a bit uptrend so expect an increase day by day. It just happened that the continuous growth passed the Valentine period making you to believed that this event correlates on how the price behaves.

Well, nothing wrong if you will believed in that and look at that situation as positive. We are saying these things to enlightened you.

Regardless of Valentine's Day, is a 9% price change considered an impressive change that leads you to believe that that day is special? If the answer is no, then Valentine's Day has no effect else we are exchanging the longest Valentine days.

Such occasions do not affect the price, because many do not think about it seriously, and the exchange of gifts will not constitute a change in the balance of supply and demand and therefore no change will occur.

I predict a $2000 rise before 00.00 UTC.

What could be more romantic than starry eyed lovers across the globe handing each other strings of letters and numbers on scraps of paper?

Millions of babies will be conceived tonight and each of them will receive 1 BTC. The price could be bid up to several million dollars in December in a rush to obtain one for all of them.

Nothing.

Bitcoin wasn't just putting a massive increase since 2015 but also earlier than that. All of what's happening right now is due to the rebound that we're seeing even before valentines day. I don't think that there's really something interesting during this day.

There's more to think of than this day.

I don't quite see how this has anything to do with each other. It's just a normal day for trading.
Perhaps today there will be extra pay option, payment being made with feelings instead of money. Just so, in the spirit of Valentine Grin

Only traditional merchants would enjoy and reap the benefits of the said event and not crypto traders or even the forex markets. There's no such correlation between an event which celebrates the life of a saint to a market of pure speculation and whatnot. Any price changes that happened within the day of February 14 is natural, and is happening all year round no matter the occasion.

It's funny how every little event is being connected to bitcoin and its market movements. People are really naive to think that everything is connected to bitcoin at this point in time just because it is already big.

My answer to your question is no and how you did conclude that Valentine's day has a connection to the price of bitcoin. Valentine's day is just the same as any other day the only difference is that people are focusing on how they will show their love into their loved-ones. To be honest, it's my first time to see a question regarding bitcoin and Valentine's day. I'm pretty confident that this month of February will give us more profit due to the slowly increasing of bitcoin on the market. Lastly, it just more on coincidence and there's no totally connection between bitcoin and valentine's day.

Valentine's day is a time for business, this way more and more buying and selling of products cause increase in circulation of the market. Last year the market wasn't that good during the days around the valentine's day. More the circulation more will be the growth. As this year halving is fast approaching the market is showing positive response on growth.

People who celebrate valentines day mostly doesn't aware of the existence of crypto currencies because they were teens or young generation people who thinks they can love someone forever. Cheesy So the price effect is just pure speculation from the traders just like other days.

It is always that it is just a coincidence. The price of bitcoin now had a good run starting this month. It goes back to a 5-digit price and now staying there. If every year that happens, we could conclude that it really has a good effect on the price but there are those years that it did not happen so we can say that it is just a coincidence.
