I think that bitcoin maximum can reach a price of not more than 50 000 dollars. All this talk about a million dollars, it's all in theory. In practice, this can not be. As soon as the price increases every time, there will necessarily be situations that will prevent it from rising. First of all, it will be a panic among investors due to various negative information and high volatility of bitcoin prices.

I think Bitcoin will reach 1M+ and some pint. Will probably take a decade or two.
I can imagine what the market capitalization would be like at this point and probably we would have been tapped out by then based on circulating supply, probably, everything has been mined. Now, a decade or two is not something I would really want to say could be the case.

Sure, no one knows what the future brings, but it sounds a lot unrealistic to me. In a decade or two, I would be projecting something close to $500k though which still sounds a bit realistic but the truth is they are just guesses, as what would be will be.
when the price of bitcoin reached $.01 to $20000 in less than ten years then why not it will reach $1,000,000 from the current value but don't know what it will become possible maybe it will take 100 years or more but still anything is possible right?

I'm glad that most people are capping their expectations at $1 million, or significantly less. For that reason, I'm guessing we'll go significantly higher than $1 million, if only for a short time during a blow-off top.

People keep talking about 1 million dollar price valuation for bitcoin but you are forgetting one crucial information for such price ; the market cap. If bitcoin reaches one million dollars per bitcoin than the marketcap of bitcoin will become 18 trillion dollars give or take. 18 trillion dollars is more than nasdaq and nyse all combined, you can even put up like 10 other big country stock exchanges on top of those two and still won't have enough to reach that market cap. I am sorry but I do not believe that is remotely possible. Bitcoin can't go bigger than 10 biggest stock exchanges all by itself.

In the mass adoption scenario, Bitcoin would stand alongside traditional investment assets. Bitcoin can theoretically take a chunk from all store-of-value assets, from gold to fiat currencies (M0). Gold's market cap stands around $8 trillion alone. $10-20 trillion doesn't seem unreasonable at all.

I knows that it is impossible to predict the maximum value of bitcoin but this thread was intented to express your opinion about the maximum price of bitcoin!

In my opinion the price of bitcoin will reach upto $1M as lot other says,no technocal analysis or based nothing just my opinion. Smiley
Nobody can predict the price of Bitcoin properly and no one will be able to do it. The price of Bitcoin is always changing at all times and is always unpredictable. This will be a characteristic and occur until the government makes a decision and makes regulations on Bitcoin. When the government makes regulations on Bitcoin, the price will be stable and when the government has not made regulations, stability will not always exist at all times. We will not be able to predict the price of Bitcoin at any time !!!!

Im confused with your statement, and whats making it even more confusing is that you have just repeated what the OP said in the first sentence.
How could regulating Bitcoin makes the price stable? Can you explain further?
And what do you mean by " if the government doesnt regulate bitcoin, stability will not ALWAYS exist at all times?" What does that even mean?
We're talking about the prediction of maximum price or ATH of Bitcoin, not the stability and volatile nature of cryptocurrency lol.

I knows that it is impossible to predict the maximum value of bitcoin

If anyone could do that, all people would consult with him, maybe the American security agencies would make a billionaire deal with him so he could predict the location of all the terrorists in the world.

In my opinion the price of bitcoin will reach upto $1M as lot other says,no technocal analysis or based nothing just my opinion. Smiley

impossible, this is a price too high and no matter how many years pass still would remain a very high price and impossible to be reached

I believe the maximum price will be $120,000

if there is no negative news about bitcoin maybe the bitcoin price can reach $ 1 million, but with a long time. but in my opinion the highest bitcoin price is only $ 500k.

We cannot predict the price of bitcoin since there might be Increase in a day and can be decreased with in next few hours. This year Crypto market is going bit down and hence current value for BTC is $6300. In my  opinion this year bitcoin will not reach $1 million.

I dont think it will reach $1M ever, it does not mean that I do not support bitcoin but $1M is so huge amount. Even if it can reach that high then I do believe it will drop suddenly as most people will sell it and they will start to twice to re-investing once it is dropped. Indeed it is possible to reach that high, but it wont happen in the next 10-20 years IMO.

Its price ceiling might be difficult to speculate $1M is possible though but for how long it would take us to wait for that moment of price or that prediction is not possible at all no $1M would be touching the market for the upcoming decades of bitcoin who knows what will happen if bitcoin is still the number one crypto that time how far will the price stretch to its limitations through the bitcoins lifetime.

Can you share your thoughts with us? Why is the price of Bitcoin reaching $1M? I think Bitcoin will rise, but it will not exceed $9000 this year.
I am not speaking about this year's maximum price, just wanted to know what's in your mind about how much that bitcoin will able to climb in its life time.I already said that it is from my opinion I am not telling this $1M based on any analysis so if you are interested just comment the maximum price.

For me it seems so lhuge. I would say bitcoin value would reach $300K the max as we do have increasing crypto coins coming into market with good projects. Obviously yes bitcoin will be the leading currency. As bitcoin value grows up, we may have only the whales investing into bitcoin not the investors with small capitals. So the investors with small capital will look into other altcoins with best growth trend. The investment would get split. The demand and the circulation of bitcoin would be very less and the value will remain to an extend as like current year. This is my prediction.

No one really can tell you what the maximum price of Bitcoin will be, no one even can't tell what the price of Bitcoin will be after one week or even tomorrow. It all depends on many other thing. The size of this price usually depends on how Bitcoin will be used in the future.

I think the highest price of Bitcoin this year may reach $9,500, and there is a price to pay for such a price. Some useless altcoin must die!
No one knows what the price would be in the next second, minute, hour, day, week, month or year as the case may be. It is market, very unpredictable, things can change at any point which could tend towards huge demand side or supply side, and all these things are a part of what we really cannot see could happen anytime in the future.

Unless someone wants to come out to say they can see exactly what the future holds, which i doubt, then no one can know. All we can just do is guess and be realistic, while some could coincidentally predict right, but it is still a coincidence!

You're thinking wrong. The ultimate goal is to not have any direct connection with fiat, but to have 1 satoshi be a unit of value on its own. That's my prediction.

By the time Bitcoin reaches $1 million (as per your prediction), fiat has likely taken a massive dive, which will directly mean that Bitcoin's $1 million valuation might be worth just $50,000-$100,000 in today's purchasing power value. Fiat in terms of purchasing power is stricly one way traffic down to the south, and governments can (and likely will) speed up the process of value loss by messing up.

We have to step over that. Bitcoin is our one time opportunity to actually force through a significant change in the way we see and use money.

Bitcoin isn't a bubble. It's the pin!
People keep talking about 1 million dollar price valuation for bitcoin but you are forgetting one crucial information for such price ; the market cap. At least not right now, can it be one million dollars when devaluation of fiat gets to insane levels? Maybe. But not right now.

Fair point, but as we all know market cap is not an accurate measurement for cryptocurrencies. The more accurate way (IMO) of determining the Bitcoin price upper limit is the block reward.

For example, 10 years from now the block reward will be  1.56. if the price were to be $1 million per coin, that means there would be $9.3 million dollars of inflation per hour. This works out to $224.6 Million per day, or to a comically high $82 Billion per year. $82 Billion would need to be entering Bitcoin every year in order to maintain a price of $1 million per coin. This isn't very viable, so the upper limit of the price is probably a little bit lower than this. This, of course, is assuming Bitcoin would hit $1 million after 3 more block halvings, in 2028. This also assumes that miners would sell 100% of their coins too which is unlikely, as they would likely only sell a small percentage of their earnings, depending on the cost of mining of course.

Who knows, this price could be possible, but I just don't know if there would be $82 Billion/year worth of demand for at least 4 years to maintain the price.

I think the price of Bitcoin will change with the way it is used. If it is moving towards alternative gold, the price of Bitcoin will not rise too much!
That balls down on its usage as a currency for which it was created for in the first place and the only reason we might be able to get a huge demand in the long run.

No one can state categorically what the maximum price would be but at least we can be optimistic that with mainstream adoption and a high level of demand as a valuable currency, we will be able to see some very huge and tangible amount in the long run, whatever it is by then, only time can tell.
