With lost coins nothing will happen. They will always lie on your wallet, which you will never be able to enter again. Or you can pick them up if you crack the wallet. Grin

Yes. If you have lost the private key. Then your coins are always lost forever. It is always kept on the block chain. No one can use it. So the private key is very important to us. Be sure to keep it safe and safe.

to my knowledge guys, when the private key is lost, then the wallet address can not be opened again. although very many tokens are owned. automatically, it looks like the coins contained in the wallet's address can not be opened by anyone. if my opinion is wrong, please be advised, still very less experience. my advice, keep a good private key.

Losing coins means you can't find them anymore, and it really happens every day. If you manage bad coins, you are likely to lose them and no one can get them again.

It is true that all that is misplaced can never be regain 100%.They will be lost, and the price over time for a particular coin will grow or probably, wallets, and keys now can never be retrieve. They will just exist but access to them is nothing but no avail.

I meet loads of people who have collected coins everywhere. They have 20 different types of wallets with a little bit of value. It's due to happen that people will loose their private keys or forget that they even have an account. Over time that value could accumulate pretty big. What will happen to these 'lost' coins? Will these stay on the Blockchain forever, accessible to no one anymore?

Well, there is no cure, there is no remedy
Do  not lose your private key
Do not lose your password.

Every lost password or private key means loss of effort, funds and portfolio
so stay wise
stay safe.

existence or non existence of 99% of the altcoins would not change a thing, literary. apart from the obvious fact that some people will lose their money that they have foolishly invested in those coins. and that is actually a pretty common thing that they coins are either get lost or the altcoin simply dies and the whole thing is considered "lost"

It will still be stored in and will never be opened by anyone. Maybe it's a pretty big mistake and certainly should not have occurred. This is a big drawback in crypto. There will be no can help and there will not be responsible for loss is experienced.

If they forgot their wallet password, some brute force software may crack for the password their created at the beginning if there is any wallet file.
But if they not use wallet file and using private key, the balance of coins or tokens will stay there forever if they forgot their private key.

The first project to benefit this theme will succeed and without shadow of doubt, a project that will commit to recover its losses untold. There are many investors who lose their wallets full of Bitcoin and major currencies and discovering a gateway to Blockchain for the rescue, it would be necessary and considered by all. Nowadays lost the private keys what we have left is the tears.

Crypto is very difficult to follow in money world. There is no such thing as follow-up. There is no turning back when you lose money because even a legal pursuit is not the issue.

Lost coins are gone. People losing so much coins is one of the reasons that the price of bitcoin is so high, there are people who lost the passwords, private key and such to their wallets and just like that those coins are gone forever because there is no way to get them back. Once these coins are gone, they are just gone forever and there is no way to bring them back

There is a possibility, that some "highly populated" coins could be "saved" by other more lively coin communities. It is their interest to attract more "colleagues" to the coin community.

There is no return to lost money. You can use safe wallets to lose money. This is the biggest disadvantage of the crypto money world. There is absolutely no follower of lost money.

All those lost coins that people lost because of sending it to the wrong address, losing email addresses and passwords and losing private keys and the likes are all gone forever. They will remain in the blockchain and there is no way to actually get them back. Although I read a theory that lost coins would be taken back to be mined by miners but it is a long shot.

Thanks to the author for the topic! I myself belong to such people.
when I started to collect airdrops, I did everything, registered at all sites and  installed hundreds of wallets!  Now this information is on another computer that broke down (  now this information is lost..

How many more are the same as me???))(((

This proves the uselessness of such airdrops.
