As with all other forms of prohibition, the banning of bitcoin would merely stimulate a black market for the digital currency. At this point the genie is out of the bottle, and there's no turning back. Bitcoin is a legitimate currency, as Japan has recognized. Some nations will ban it, which will only hurt them in the long run.

Yep, Bitcoin won't go away if it gets banned. It is nearly impossible to monitor. The government doesn't have the resources to keep up and track every Bitcoin transaction, so it would still be used. With that said though, it would definitely hurt Bitcoin a lot, because many people follow exactly what the government tells them in terms of propaganda... and if they made Bitcoin out to be something shady that was illegal or only used to buy illegal things then it would not be good. Like you said, any government that does this will end up regretting it in the end.
- Well, Bitcoin is not in the administration of the law, the government can not control it and if they ban Bitcoin, other people will also use it normally, the government can not do anything, turn off the internet, I do not think this is a good idea. In addition, bitcoin is proving its value and potential, it has a huge impact on the economy, many countries are considering to accept and use it, banned bitcoin is not possible, so they are thinking of helping bitcoin more popular to support the economy
The entire world will destroy if the bitcoin was banned. In many topics this issue has been repeated so many times. What will happen if bitcoin die, if bitcoin crashed, if bitcoin fails, if bitcoin locked and so many othersdishearten topics like this one.

I want to ask a question why it would be banned. What will happen? Is bitcoin illegal? If not so then I do not understand why bitcoin will be banned?

Those makes me remember alchool forbidden some years ago as well the drugs, its all forbiden and people keep using and trading those without control, if were legalized maybe we would get people addicted soo deeply, besides those mooves traffic and allows bad people to fight against police. The first step would push people to cashout money from their bank to go trade in person to get those bitcoins, bitcoin cant be stopped, if they stop banks accounts people will expose themselfes to buy bitcoin since they already have the contact of some trusted people, if havent a friend will sugest sooner or later those persons.

What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

I think that even bitcoin is banned, it does not mean that it would worth any less. But still no one can stop how it travel through internet and be known worldwide. So what if btc is banned. Then save more then when the supply will be more limited because no one is using it as payment then prices will go up.
Btc will never be banned for long. You will just be rich in the bright side.

First of all bitcoin was created to be hidden away from the prying eyes of the government.
It was designed so that it wont be tracked.
That's why it became popular with illegal activities since then know they cant be easily traced.
So if ever all the government (which is impossible it think) will decide to ban the use of bitcoin.
It still doesn't change anything.
You can still hide away from the government using it.
Therefore I my self will still be engaged in using bitcoin.

Well banning things will make people use them even more just like drugs, yeah but for me i won't stop using bitcoin even if i have to wear the criminal label for it.
Even though i don't see it getting banned just for the fact that the positive side of it is far superior to it's drawbacks.

I think, there would be a world war III if bitcoin is going to be banned (well, this is a bit exxagerated statement Smiley ). But, yeah, I think, many people who are using bitcoin will make a rally against those who will ban bitcoin. There's no enough reason for any departments or big agencies to ban bitcoin. And I also believe that bitcoin will never be banned in general.

People will continue to trade, only in the shade. What gives a small profit can never be crushed by anything, will find ways to solve this problem. They will not completely disconnect the Internet or crawl into users' computers, even traffic is difficult to track.
That's going to be hard for us and if people will continue to trade then we will surely not gonna see the same volume like we are having today.
Bitcoin is popular now because of it's usefulness but when the government will declare it's illegal to use it then it's not safe for us anymore and we will make sure we will not gonna make problem and be in jail so probably we will have no choice but to stop.
banning the use of bitcoin will not interfere with the use of bitcoin dude? even if your country forbids the bitcoin in circulation but you can still use bitcoin secretly because the bitcoin system supports it, but the effect of prohibiting the use of bitcoin will certainly feel like just few outsiders interested in bitcoin, less trust in bitcoin, etc

We have similar thought mate! Why do you think that we will put into jail if geoverment declares the legalization of bitcoin? I don't think so because they can also get profit from bitcoin fairly if they allow themselves to invest on their own but if it's still the same system like corruption occurs under the table,it will be very hard tp monitor. It would be very difficult for us if bitcoin was banned. As one of the sources of income bitcoin plays several roles in our lives and I think it is really satisfying for us because it has helped us through thick and thin. Though the coins vary with value but considering it's usefulness makes it worthwhile. So please don't ban bitcoin.

if that happens when government banned everything about bitcoin i think many people would be affected since they were starting to invest solely in bitcoins. well it also depends on the meaning of the word "banned" if it is totally unacceptable then anyone who will be using it will be considered against the law.
The meaning of the word "banned" in Bitcoin is you cannot using it in your country when the government have that rules, you can check India or some countries on the world in past time had banned Bitcoin or still keep this rules til today.

Nobody can suspend bitcoin transactions, we'll be free against world's governments. We only need internet to engage with each other in terms of money-bitcoin transfers. Nobody can ban us, because this business was created on blockchain, not the country borders.
Although it is created in the blockchain but the government are really into this, they will look on bitcoin because it's getting more popular
and they will regulate it to protect the  people from scams.

If Bitcoin will get banned my goverment regulation, I expect that more anoynmous currencies will get more and more in the center of interest.

One of such anonymous coins is Deeponion. It is completly integrated into the well esablished TOR network. In addition a new feature is under development with the name Deepsend, this will allow completly anoynmous transactions that can not be traced by any governmetal action.

I guess if it will be banned, users from all over the globe would be dismayed by the government's action. It is the only non-taxable earnings that anyone can have. Unlike the salary you receive every month.

It will be a huge mess, every bitcoin users around the world will complain about this, we are not just going to let it to be this way, that bitcoin should be ban. I think the main reason why bitcoin would be ban by the Government is because of its being decentralized, they can't touch it, meaning they can't steal it when they want to corrupt it.

Like China before a certain time, Russia has banned bitcoins into the country and now it has regained the ban. They have plans to make it a donation to their financial system through Blockchain technology. It is possible that in the coming years the bitcoin ban will not be there.

This is the common effect in some modification of it's rules and policy in the country that making a steps to take control of all transactions using bitcoin. But this is only in few months trouble and it will back to it's normal transactions after.
It's a big lose to everyone if bitcoin will be totally band in all countries because all their hardworks and effort will vanish at a moment. And could contribute a lot into the crypto world, but I don't believe it will happen.

There is nothing the government can do to ban bitcoin. Lets say for example they ban bitcoin, do they think people in cryptocurrency would just stop in nothing? Of course not, people always find ways in order to fulfill happiness.
