I would convert all the Syrians to Christianity so that they can be saved for eternal life with God. This would clear up much of their international problems, as well.

I would split the country in new countries.

Best solution for everyone

1) Kurdistan is born (with pieces from turkey, Iran and Iraq) (like Crimea and Dombass they want to self rule) (us protectorate)
2) give the alawaites their latakies and costal area under Russian protection
3) restore Sunnis integrity, liberty and dignity in the rest of Syria (Damascus and Aleppo and every where)

The deal being good for everyone Assad could die in his costal palace in peace (house arrest)

Solution 2

Russians being nasty as hell, hating Sunnis and wanting to split the sunnah because they are afraid of a link to Makka - Caucasian Emirates and other various reasons that are useless to know...

1) retreat of us forces from Syria
2) total backing of sunnies on their home territories
3) letting the sunnah arm (I mean in a big way) to fight Russia and Iran and Syria in Syria
