I think you will not be able to get a good concentration if gambling with all your friends who you have, Because your friends will surely do something things that can ruin your friends or maybe concentrations you instead of the actual purpose of the turn (to gamble). Better do gambling alone you play with good concentrations, therefore more profitable and does not give bad effect

I would not like to be made fun of by my peers after having to bear the loss money at the same time.

Well if you just want to have fun gambling like going to casinos, it's a lot better if you're with friends. Now if you like a bit of serious gambling, better to do it alone at home to avoid distractions

The main reason I gamble is for fun, I will bet on sports events to make them more interesting, if I am with friends then they will know about it of course. It doesn't bother me whether I do it alone or not. I definitely do not see gambling as a bad thing as long as it is done responsibly it can be very fun.

Just for sheer fun,

But for those who are chasing behind profit in gambling, I believed they prefer playing on their own.

It is kinda a little bit distracting to have your friends by your side all the time when you are playing gambling,
I believed on what the first post said that it is more comfortable to play alone rather than with colleagues.

But for some, they get more fun when they are around with their friends in gambling.

Gambling can be quite boring. I prefer to have friends along but need not have to stick with one another all the time. We can play at our own tables and occasional just walk over to your friend's table to check out on how he is doing.

I prefer gambling alone, if we are talking about those friends who are sitting beside you while you are betting, I don't like that, that's a bit annoying to me... But if we are talking about those who are also in the gambling site, Oh, I love talking to them, chatting with them... Not really. Gambling alone can make you panic, and when you're panicked you're making the worst decisions ever, decisions you don't even think about before taking them. A friend can cheer you up, and help you control yourself. I always saw different strangers on dice games chatting about their losses, and everyone was just cheering them up and even tipping them! That's what a friend is.
