It was so heart pounding this few days,, I've been in the edge of selling and holding while hands is shaking just to press a single button.. Luckily,, I've read a lot of good humors that lighten my dark days and red market numbers.. Thanks to them who suggesting and advising not to take pressure or emotions in making decisions because I might regret it afterwards..
This not the good time to old your coin the most of investors are holding their coin and are not so panic about to get profit earlier they are waiting for the prices to hit 6000USD and then they will sell and this will bring their bright days and now they are investing by buying more coins because the prices are low and they are planning for the future to secure good profit.

Sodl is fucking hilarious, and RawDog is brutal  Grin

but yeah, you went full retard if you have sold during any of these dips. if you need to access your value (shame on you, you invested more than you could afford to lose Wink ) then liquidate what you need and wait it out. doesnt make sense to sell for a few reasons; you are late; if you try to short you could possibly lose some ground if you miscalculate, and obviously, eventually we will regain our previous price levels. granted, it could take a while, but it most likely wont if the past is any indicator.

ride it out people. unless you went to school to daytrade, maybe, dont try to daytrade. Wink

Too fast to take conclusions, keep calm. This could be a trap, who knows ?
Although I keep my bitcoin when the price goes down, but I try to "smooth" and not be rash to make a decisions.

dont be too optimistic.

this can be just a small rush. i indeed want to share your optimistic and hope it will push again to the moon.

BTC Quotes
3,378.960  USD  in China plattform which is apro 2829 euro and its a good way right now

What do you mean by "don't be too optimistic."? I just hope, that's sort of grammatical error. But if you mean that (which means don't be happy of it), then why not? Bitcoin dropped down to its lowest price at $2,980 in past few hours, but it's rising up again. Now, it's at $3,800. So why should we not be optimistic? I think, the losers here are those panic sellers who sold their bitcoins at its lowest price yesterday. And I am happy that I held onto my bitcoins.
The mood of bitcoin traders can be very changing, one day bitcoin is headed for 10k dollars and everything is great and bitcoin is the best technology ever and the next day everything is terrible and bitcoin is dying and stuff like that, bitcoin has recovered but I do not think we should expect a price any higher than what we already saw few weeks ago, especially if the hard fork coming in November materializes.

It is all coming back now.  You are too late to get back in.  That's what is called 'being left behind'.

I lol'ed about your title, I think you are really a well experienced bitcoiner because your are just playing with some other people. I didn't mind the fall down of price in Bitcoin though because I think that it is just an another correction of price because of this FUDs that is circulating within the last 2 weeks. To those people who 'SODL' I think most of them are newbies and is not used to what is volatility looks like.

If you sold before the correction, you can actually drink to being smart, lucky or whatever you want to call yourself.
We managed to go up by a bit compared to the bottom prices, but we're still lower than when the news from China came. I'm sure the people responsible for spreading the news used this opportunity to buy some cheap coins and are now laughing.

The trick has ended, I would like to be able to laugh at the face of those who have sold panic. They will take the consequences of losing trust in bitcoin. Everything is back, a really great signal.
I hope they get something out of this and at least they learn a lesson here, panics are very common in bitcoin but you cannot let that panic to affect you, you do not lose money if you just hold your bitcoin, the ones that truly lose money are those that sell for a bad price, lose money and then if they want to get back in bitcoin will have to lose money again.

Hoarding prevail. I just hoping yesterday that it will reach $2000 so that i could buy bitcoin in a huge amount at the cheaper price and add to my hoarding but it seems thats the all of the Chinese investors. Now buying demand is starting to up again we must be on board now before its too late. Im just afraid that China will remove the bitcoin banning now because it will result to sudden increase of the bitcoin value again.

See? That's the reason why panicking is so wrong. Too bad for those who sell their bitcoins. They wasted the opportunity to become rich or to become more rich. Their anticipation was all wrong. It's actually good when the price of bitcoin is low. Buying bitcoin will be more affordable.

I'm calm as a belgian and despite all these news from China, I didn't considered to sell bitcoins, because I'm hodling.
But I didn't expected that bitcoin price can recover so fast. I thought it will take at least few weeks to get back in better positions.
But another bunch of news from China can bring even more chaos. It's hard to predict their further steps in fight with cryptos.

It is also sad to see how people get overly enthusiastic just because the price bounces back and start to arrogantly tell-off people who sold at 3000$. You people should stop to pretend that you knew what would happen, you are just relieved it didn't drop any further. Personally i think this story isn't over yet (just a typical spike on a downtrend), so i sold at 3700$. We will see what happens now.

When there is a panic sell, and the price of bitcoin drops, it only gives room to new traders who are starting to trade or investors who wants to start with a little bit and after a little time,  the price goes up to its normal price an profit shows up to the  investors.

Hee hee...I had to laugh at "sodl" -- when I first joined the forum I could not figure out why so many posts were using the apparent typo "hodl" so often when most of the other words were spelled correctly. Then I finally looked it up and found out that it is an "enthusiastic misspelling" of hold according to the Urban Dictionary:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hodl

At any rate it seems that the panic sellers haven't figured out that they are not supposed to "sodl" their bitcoins until their value has risen enough for them to comfortably retire, at which point we can "hodl" the rest and use them for transactions wherever bitcoin is accepted as payment.

The price could still drop more because we know Bitcoin is unpredictable. But I agree with the premise of your post. Selling during this drop was not a good idea unless you sold closer to the top. I think a sell above $4000 would have been good as long as you buy somewhere close to $3000 or lower.

I chose to hold because I was unsure when the drop would come and all my Bitcoins are offline at the moment. I still would consider buying more but I need Bitcoin to drop lower for me to buy. I will wait for something below $3000 before I would consider buying more. But if you don't have any Bitcoins yet, I would suggest buying.

It is clear that those who had sell their bitcoins doesn't know anything about investments and they are just in it because bitcoin became popular, these people with weak hands should read diligentlt about thr basics of investments, buy low, sell high, there is no reason for them to panic in the first place, again their ignorance this.time is too expensive, if they only see that this is the best time to buy since it is already a bargain, now that it is below 5k usd and the support is around 3k usd, these people will surely regret their decision. One thing is noticeable, a lot of people who have bitcoins nowadays just bought it at a high price, and now selling just to cut loss on their investment, and by time time bitcoin rallies back, for sure the same people will buy back what they loss, hopefully they already understand how investments and economics work. One thing i worry about is the number of people, since you can see it on the volume being sodl, for those who hodl and still buy, there will be a huge difference on the price that we have now and on the coming months, since bitcoin has a history of recovering back from its losses, even with all the negativity around, i think if china, didn't protect its people from the scam ICOs, thr value of bitcoin will still rise and also if btcc exchange didn't shutdown, the same people who sodl will surely be buying more bitcoins,  withiut considering the price, hopefully these people will learn a valuable lesson to not just go with the flow but to educate theirselves on what to do in times like this, since we all wanted to gain more profits, selling them at this point is not an option. I think we should do our part as a community and teach those with weak hands, what to do, in order for them to appreciate more what they have and will not regret their decision in the near future.

LOL. Good to see Bitcoin price coming up back Smiley)) I'm still holding all of my Bitcoin just because I believe in it. I believe that Bitcoin can easily reach over 5k$ soon and China only can affect to Bitcoin for a time not forever Smiley)) Do you know what is happening? Some of my trasactions is stucking for a long time about more than 1 hours and still do not get any confirm Sad
Actually the volume trading of the Chinese market was not like the past, it not strong and just accounts for 15-20% total volume trading Bitcoin on the world. New marketplace has replaced China and balance the cryptocurrency market Cheesy

Hahaha, yes now it rising up and up.
What I've done - just hold bitcoin and that's it.

This is rollercoaster!
I do not know why people keep falling for this, if the price goes down that is not the moment to sell, you are going to lose money, that is the moment to hold and if you have some spare cash in hand then you buy, if you sell at a bad price then when the price goes back to normal then you will have to face the difficult choice of buying at an higher price or hope that bitcoin goes that low again.
