I'm getting really positive towards cryptocurrencies this year, I hope more blessings will come with the help of btc and alts and i know this is my year to work on it 

I agree that cryptocurrencies in general will be leading the financial markets, but I highly doubt that Bitcoin will. Why? Because it's so outdated! Every aspect of it is outdated.
Decentralized? Nope, it's right there in China!
Anonymous? Nope, anyone can track your transactions.
Good as an online currency? Nope, its transactions are expensive and take a long time to confirm. Besides, it's a bit too volatile for that.

However, crytocurrencies in general is a more interesting path to follow. There are constantly new advances in the cryptocurrency world, making it more anonymous, more decentralized, cheaper, faster and allowing more users to participate more easily in this awesome party...
I don't get why people are still investing in Bitcoin, except for their total ignorance of other cryptocurrencies or their attempt to profit from the ignorance of others.

I hope people start to realize that in 2018 and switch to the real future: Advanced cryptocurrencies. Though, sadly, the Bitcoin trend will probably continue for a couple years, until it reaches a point at which people realize there's more to blockchain-technology than just some outdated code.

Whether people will realize that or not, the cryptocurrency market in general will grow & thrive more than ever before. I don't have a single doubt about that.

Clearly over the course of 2017 we have seen an increase in both price and users for cryptocurrencies and this lead to many people getting intressted in this market for its huge profibality, and that is why more investments are promissed to made in 2018 that are cryptocurrency related, some of the huge names companies are starting to accept it as a payemnt method, and all of this means only good stuff for the crypto community, but with this comes some huge probelms like transaction time and mining fees for bitcoin, and more over regulations that are starting to come from some goverments to ban it, so hopefully we can overcome them and make cryptocurrency great.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general will be leading the financial markets in terms of trading. Btc proves that you don't need government interference and a high market support to create a currency that can be used by everyone. With the implementation of technology in the future altcoins will develop as well.

The market will grow, there are no such problems that would slow it down.
But everything ahead of 2013 will be a turning point in the adoption of crypto currencies around the world.

Bitcoin is here to stay, more money is going to flow-in in favor of the blockchain technology and BTC would be the first one to benefit out of it directly.

Hopefully, we'll see china, australia, japan and other nations fund state sponsored bitcoin mining ventures to increase decentralization of crypto and create a precedent whereby crypto is not being condemned by every nation on earth to present the media with something resembling a "unified front" against bitcoin/crypto.

We'll definitely see laws introduced to implement taxation or further regulation. Bitcoin and crypto bans are also the most prominent strategy utilized for central banks to be competitive with bitcoin. Suffice it to say, in many impoverished and developing nations, electronic banking systems are extremely exploitive and the only way they can compete with bitcoin is to ban it.

Whether bitcoin rises in 2018 or not depends on whether it recovers its role as a store of long term value. Transaction fees and network traffic are also concerns. There's no doubt of bitcoin's userbase growing at a magnificent pace. Its other issues which come into question.

Ripple just hit $2.30 recently, BTC and ETH are steadily rising over the past few months, so I guess it's going to be good this 2018 for crypto. Can't predict though what could happen after these changes, but we can guarantee that the real game's about to start.

I'm looking to earn with IOTA, the coin price has been really good and already made some profits .. checking theymos alts list it is with 1 point.
It's worth others are cataloged as dump coins.

Well, 2017 opened up not only bitcoin, but crypto market in general to everyone. As we saw, xrp, bcc, litecoin and a few other alts rampaged their way to all time highs recently. 2018 would probably see the crypto mania step on the gas as more investors will come in with some other alts following suit.

This year had been an awesome year for bitcoin as it soared high that nobody can't imagine. And with just 10 days left before we leave 2017 we're all anticipating that 2018 will be more prosperous and profitable for all us especially to the bag holders.
And with this big dip that we have right now it's a good entry point to buy some bitcoin like don't ask if it's a good time or else you'll mock around after this.

I hope it will do so, next year. This year made a big impact to the world. It had increased its popularity, by next year it will create more investors and more money will come in.

Let put things in perspective first:

1. 2017 is a breakthrough year for bitcoin and crypto's. Beginning of the year, no one knows what crypto is. The only thing we hear from media is all negatives. Bitcoin is used by criminals to buy drugs etc.. etc..

2. Sept 2017, China break away after years of being the lead. Bankers attacks, bashes bitcoin and calling it a bubble.

3. Institutional investors came into the picture, offering bitcoin future contracts.

4. Bitcoin prices grows to astronomical level. Almost touching $20K from $700 beginning of 2017.

So 2017 is a big leap towards crypto gaining popularity. So I have no doubt that its only beginning. 2018 will be huge, people talking about crypto's, lots of them what to buy, altcoins having a renewed interest from big companies such as Microsoft, IBM and other sectors are well. What I'm saying is that the trend will continue in 2018. There might be challenges and bumps along the road, but it can be overcome leading to flourishing and another successful year.

For me 2017 is awareness phase of crypto. 2018 will be when most coins will go to operation mode based on most roadmaps.
I hope this will change the public's mindset that blockchain is a utility technology rather than just a hype for profits.

This being said I have already diversified my portfolio to NEO, ARK, REQ and IOTA apart form BTC-ETH.
It will be fun ride to see the implementation and price rise/ drop. Now its the best time to invest in some Alt-coin when it is way cheap. If you believe that the coin has a potential, then invest onto it.

What i think about bitcoin and other cryptos in 2018? By the time of the new year there are many things that you can see now that the digital currency is especially interested in this forum and I think it will be more familiar with the trading industry and because of this growing recognition of people bitcoin especially when it comes to the business industry is fully acceptable for payments and services. Hopefully all crpytocurrecy will also happen today with bitcoin. These events will continue for the development of the crypto.

Bitcoin is getting weaker and weaker in terms of volume usage because crypto currency user are going to alt coin with faster transaction and lesser fee.
Today market loss was so big that i also lost some money, alt coins would be the best solution for traders and user of crypto currency.

In my predictions bitcoin will rise up high as 17 thousand dollars by next year. and I know that it would be so popular. many of us that 2018 would be the end of bitcoin but for me its not. i had a dream that bitcoin will end the worlds poverty. people nowadays was so unpredictable. there are so many accusation about the cryptocurrencies and also in bitcoin itself. everyone had a doubt of what will bitcoin become by the next year. but for me just sit back and relax

All what we can do is a prediction, knowing well that nobody knows what 2018 will be.
I think there are some very promising altcoins which are going to perform extremely well in 2018. Others will slowly disappear.

I think bitcoin this coming 2018 is still going stronger.this is become well known in the whole world and going to be a great year.it must be more interesting and one of the best choice of people that don't have a job in our society.bitcoin is a very big helped to every one and i think it is going to be much powerful.
