Lotteries are as addictive as gambling because if you buy lottery once then you will probably buy it again in the hope of winning the grand prize.
The failure in winning the lottery triggers our inner emotions to keep trying again and again making us addictive towards the grand prize.

For every one like that there are more than 99% who lose money in the lottery in their lifetime. If you add up what they have won, which are usually withdrawals and small prizes, and subtract what they have spent, the vast majority lose money.

depends if the person can afford to buy a lottery regularly. and yeah it can be addicting. the fact that the ticket is cheap is probably one of the reasons why a lot of people buy lottery tickets even if their chance of winning is slim to none. although I haven't been doing it lately, I too used to allocate a portion of my salary to buy lottery tickets on a regular basis.

For a gambler? of course it's a good deal to buy a lottery ticket but you have to understand the chances of winning on this game.
And just like any games, you don't need to be addicted to it as obviously, it is another game of chance. And that is true, it is base on luck. I came accross a video on Instagram about this news I guess today, so yes if the luck wants to hit you hard it will happen so no matter who is buying lottery tickets regularly ir its just the first time in his life but don't become addicted to it which is the worse possible thing to happen when it comes to luck based gambling, anyway for him the new year begins with a lucky slap which is going to change his entire life.
