Almost every coin is up double digits. Why?

I think people are looking for bitcoin alternatives and investing in other Alts to gain benefits

After the block size is increased, the price of bitcoin will rise a lot.

You actually think there are people sitting there and waiting to buy for the block size change?  Or is it the magic that will make those that are completely uncaring or unaware about Bitcoin and will once the magic powder of the block szie is changed they will suddenly know about Bitcoin and buy many more?

Probably those people that sold their bitcoins jumped to some alt coins and choose to hide their money there to be safe with bitcoins price drop.

That's why there are some alt coins that are pumping and these people are just doing the usual way when bitcoins price is dropping.

There's nothing new with it.

This is not just an usual pump. This pump is changing a lot in the crypto universe. ETH is going to a 5 billion USD market cap, I think XMR could go for 1 billion.

This is not happening unnoticed, a lot of attention is going to XMR and ETH.
The prices will change from year to year, BTC wont be the only coin above 100 USD.

Crypto market is like any other markets , new investors are getting in everyday , we have to know that there is alot of ppl don't know that cryptocurrency is even exist , so i don't think that any pump is a result of whales pump and dump , seems to me that bitcoin etf news attracted new investors and thats the reason behind the alt pump.

Seems people are buying BTC since it is future of money.
BTCers exiting BTC and are buying alts. That is why BTC stays stable and alts go up lots since BTCers are the new rich elite and can afford just anything nowadays.

i think its normal because we see in the price of bitcoin that is increase so altcoin is increase too like btc. almost altcoin is make a new price floor and i think the new price is high than before so if we have a stock for that coins, then we can make profit too.

Wrong, Alts are going WAY much higher than BTC, so it's not because of BTC increase. Btc is like 3% up, and soem alts, like ETH, XMR are +20%.

You can say that since bitcoin price is too high and you could really saw altcoin which is more than the percentage on the growth of bitcoin because they do differ on value.
When bitcoins price rose up some alts are going with the trend and now we saw like on ETH and DASH and other coins.

So, we are here. Coinbase just announced that they will charge users for on-chain transactions. A lot of people, who used Bitcoin for micro payments will lose opportunity to send small portions of Bitcoin. So, we're left with motto - "you can buy Tesla with BTC and pay lower fees". Wow, Bitcoin is only for rich now. Sorry, it is not for me and, as market is showing, not for many people.

p.s. does Antonopoulos will continue saying that Bitcoin is designed for Africa? Africans are going to buy Tesla with avarage 8-9USD income per month!!! Miracle!

but ussualy is diference youre statement and write
usually if bitcoin price incraese every altcoin can down price, this now anomaly altcoin price
because bitcoin price incraese high, altcoin can incraese high too, special is very high incraese ethereum and DASH

there is nothing strange about altcoins getting pump and dumped even to the high prices, it is perfectly normal and perfectly common.

but the weird thing is that some coins like Dash are going crazy! i mean $100! i saw it today and i am still trying to process the power of the pumpers and how they are doing it.

no etf.

even though i think ultimately it wouldn't have done very much if it had passed, it would have set bitcoin apart from alts and made it something elevated. i think alt holders were waiting to see what happened.

now it's a no show they can go back to their pumping and telling everyone how their coin will overtake bitcoin by the end of the year. no, really.

Right, i saw it in poloniex most of the buying orders and the pumping of alts was coming from the usdt base not from btc base , so this means new investors or ppl who sold btc and made some profit trying to jump this usd in alts...my opinion

Maybe some people expect a decrease in btc price so they tried to buy altcoins instead of staying in btc?

The transaction time for many good altcoins are much faster and the fee are much cheaper. So they are in demand.

but fee are cheaper because every altcoin out there have low amout of transaction, the reason for me why the price is increasing is not what you are saying more like speculation, and new money influx, still it's surprised that bitcoin and altcoin, both are pumped, ussually only one of the two

bitcoin went up, everyone dumped their altcoins to come back to bitcoin. then bitcoin went up some more, altcoins got dumped more. and then bitcoin continued going up and altcoins were dumped pretty hard.

all those dumps meant bottom prices were reached in almost all the altcoins. and now that bitcoin is stable once again, trading is getting hotter back in altcoin world and pumpers who picked up the bottoms are now pumping the coins to cash out.

Yes, you explained the situation quite clearly. A lot of money went back to altcoins because ETF was rejected. But After some days of pumping we are back from where we have started - Bitcoin continues its rally and we should see dumping of alts. It suggests that we'll see a new low of many alts because BTC is going to ATH. It will pump very hard because of huge media hype around Bitcoin. People are starting to cash back and going into BTC because they don't want to miss a bullish run.
