I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
This is a good question, I always wondered what people found so interesting about meme projects. From what I gather, there are mainly two reasons for why people find memes interesting; the fact that it could 10x at any given moment or could crash, makes it more "fun" and a worthy risk that they are willing to take. And the fact that they are "sticking to traditional ways and having fun" is another. Like it's a meme, it's a joke, they make joke money and they get rich, people at wall street would never be able to imagine how that works.

This is why I believe that we should consider how to make it change. Consider it being something normal, not like a big deal and you should be considered as someone who understand how things work. I personally dislike them all.
Maybe on the old days people were happy to ignore traditional options of investing and prefer meme coins just to give their backs to Wall Street, but right now that spirit has been lost and the only reason people care about meme coins is about the potential they believe exist within those coins to make them rich quite quickly, but the possibility of this happening is so low, I do not think it is worth at all to take the risk to invest in those coins.

The last coin I invested some time was ALT on TON blockchain - it was a simple idea of doing simple actions with a tamagochi-like girls once in a while in a convinient miniapp on Telegram. There was an airdrop pretty recently for being a part of the game, however, not everybody was satisfied as someone who got lots of people into it got the same amount of tokens as those who didn't do much, thus being happy with what they've got. That was an interesting experience and I was happy with the resutls, as I didn't invest a dime and didn't lose lots of time on it.

The success of Dogecoin inspired the creation of numerous different meme coins and every one emerging with the hope to obtain the equal popularity via combining humor, network engagement, and investors vying for these kinds of investments.
(....)
To be honest, I'm only into profits. Just like what I did recently, during the recent peak and pumps, I bought some huge amount of different memecoins especially Dogecoin or memecoins on different network - and once they pump, sometimes I sold them all or partial, that's the only interesting to, high risk, high reward.

This coin has already created a huge hype. My prediction says the price of memecoin coin will increase. Because memecoin already has been able to make an acceptance in the crypto market. Although I don't advocate investing heavily in altcoins, some investments in Ethereum and Meme coin can be kept as they have a promising future. Bitcoin's next ATH will probably be 150k. And when Bitcoin starts its journey towards 150k I think altcoins will also multiply. So a part of the investment can be kept for these coins. But I will say don't take financial advice from others, always DYOR before investing altcoin. Smiley

It seems like an interesting thing about memecoin that needs to be explored by understanding it because the performance of most crypto assets can be very volatile where the value goes down as quickly as it rises, I think this is the only thing that will attract investors to memecoin because they are chasing profits, because the market price can changing from time to time, however, meme coins are also a good thing, and need to be taken into account carefully with an assessment in this sector that must be taken carefully before investing and the necessary steps taken.

I invested in solana based memecoin a while back, I don't even remember name anymore, but anyway what I found likeable about this memecoin was that dev was honest — he was honest about the fact that coin was useless, had no purpose and website title was something like, "dev will rug you" and he did eventually rug pull.

I wasn't even sad when I lost money on it. Why should I be?

memecoin is an investment that is full of puzzles, where we only get two choices, namely profit and loss, and in my opinion this is what makes memecoin very interesting, where people who invest will get huge profits and of course will become a billionaire in time short, and also people will lose money in an instant,
Even though Memecoin promises big profits, the risks are proportional to the profits, even though many investors continue to invest in this Memecoin because it has the potential to experience price increases after listing, because cryptocurrency is a clear phenomenon with tempting investment opportunities, but you need to be careful about it. Researching it first is important to confirm the coin.

people who invest in mekoin are on average ready to face all risks, especially losing their assets, but if they can get mekoin that has potential then they can become billionaires in a very short time, so as you said mekoin is full of challenges and we always is between profit and loss, so for those of us who don't have large enough assets, we have to be very careful in choosing memecoin.

It's interesting how memecoins developers are using information from internet artists, jokes, and fun or popular figures to drive exposure for their memecoins. What is interesting about the meme coins you are holding right now or intending to buy? Let's discuss.
Using all these fun acts and other interesting parameters to get people's attention is a business strategy to market their coin, and investors only go for projects that can give them a huge profit. As a result, they will follow the trend to know how popular the coin will be, then invest early with high risk and wait for their return.

The only interesting thing about any meme coin I am holding is the amount of profit I will earn from the project after hlding for long; and I don't stay long with meme coins, I do sell once I am certified with little profit I have, then convert the money to BTC.

To be honest, I personally don't have an investment in memecoin at the moment, because in my opinion memecoin has a very big risk, even though memecoin promises big profits, you need to know that memecoin is also very scary, where we can lose our money in just a moment. I think the interesting thing about memecoin in the eyes of crypto users is that meme coin can provide wealth in a relatively short time, but if you are lucky,

Doge coin became successful after Musk brought attention to it no? And that pretty much sparked the interest, if you can even call it that, by the people towards meme coins. I honestly thought it would stop at Dogecoin but I guess I underestimated (or overestimated) the competence of people when investing stuff. Like yes, there's people who manipulate the market to make it seem like its booming but it's still pretty obvious even that there'd be nothing to it later on. Even if there were people who profited big, they'd probably amount to 1-2% of the entirety of the group that invested. The rest? Made a big loss.

Well seeing that anyway I also started investing in a few, ones where I can ensure I at least break even if I invest. Haven't really made a loss yet, not that big of a profit neither but hey, safety first.

Honestly, I do not own any meme coins or intend to buy one of them. Meme coins are not interesting at all; they rely solely on marketing campaigns and associating their projects with celebrities, humorous or influential figures to attract investors, promising them listings on CEX. Currently, meme projects are copy-pastes of coins that have already gained widespread fame and high market value. Nothing is outstanding or noteworthy except the investors who pour their capital into these projects as if the profits they might achieve from these coins are guaranteed. On the contrary, there is nothing guaranteed about meme coins, not even their continued presence in the market. Therefore, one should not raise their hopes high in this high-risk sector, as not everyone can profit from it.

Hype that triggers a demand. I guess this is the only thing that would attract an investor towards memecoins unless you are really a fan of their craft by means of the character used on its concept. But for sure most of the time, investors of memecoins are after the profit its hype is getting and there's nothing wrong with it. Downside on this scenario are people who aren't aware or knowledgeable of how its market price move and just being hooked to hype alone. They are in most instances, the liquidity of big investors. The market price changes from time to time and if you would be too careless then rest assured loss will be coming in an instant. I cannot see these coins' worth in the long run; only in short term since there's ton of its kind in every week if I'm not wrong.
The main reason on which I do saw on why meme coins is really that getting attention or interest is that it could make out some moonshot on which It could potentially make you rich if you had made out some significant amount that you had invested on which there are really several people or traders did achieve such moment and this what makes it interesting. Also, we do know on how fast it could move specially if theres a demand and recognition on which you could really be able to tell that probabilities on making money is easy but of course not everything would be just that focusing on how well you do possibly make money but also on the moment or situation on how you would gonna lose too on which we know that risks is very high when dealing up with memecoins.

Always consider out about the risks involved on the moment that you would touching up this area, on which you should really be that wary about the probabilities of losing money in a short period of time on which we know that there would really be having that high chance for it to happen. This is why you should really be that still careful on the moment that you do invest on meme coins because being profitable with it won't come easy.

Meme coins always seems risky to me. Also I don't find and proper way to find the next meme that is going to bonk. This is really hard if you don't understand the game. A sector full of manipulation and scam where the only way you can be saved from rugged is praying to god. But i saw some people made huge gain from memes and i think they are just lucky that they have managed to do that or they must have any insider information which they have used to made such a gain.
A few months ago, Manta was being promoted, and everyone was saying that Manta is a very good project, believe me, bro, it will be very profitable for you, and where is Manta? And that isn't even a meme coin.

Meme coins are like gusts of wind that come and go. I don't know who the lucky people are who get the profit from the meme coins, that's also a good thing. I have to think very carefully before investing even in alternative coins. I don't understand how people invest so much money in meme coins when they know that it is not promising, it is also possible to be like a gust of wind, and all the money sinks in no time.

So, I don't recommend investing money in meme coins no matter how much they are advertised.

Let's not forget, it's Social media platforms, such as Twitter, Reddit and Telegram, that's playing a big position in creating the buzz on the pleasure surrounding meme coins.

Take WOLF for example, it's inspired by Matt Furie an American comics artist and illustrator. He is known for creating Pepe the Frog, a character from his Boy's Club series that debuted in 2005. If you know the character, you would like projects associated with him.

It's interesting how Memecoins developers are using information from internet artists, jokes and fun or popular figures to drive exposure for their memecoins. What is interesting about the meme coins your holding right now or intending to buy. Let's discuss.
I do not really see how that is interesting at all, the developers of meme coins know their coins are trash, so the only thing they have going on for them is to try to gain as much attention as possible, so they know the name of their coin and the images associated with it will be critical for its success, and if anything this is probably the only work they have to ever do, as creating a coin is incredibly simple these days, since there are services out there which can create coins in a matter of hours.

I have HAWKTUAH token lol https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hawk-tuah/#Markets

This memecoin comes from the idea where this girl was interviewed about what women can do that makes a man go crazy and her answer swept the internet. Here's the interview, not really a big investor but I was just finding it funny the developer immediately jumped into this meme to create a coin. You gotta know what that Hawk Tuah means.

I saw this Hawk Tuah token at a very cheap value and I'm like. What?. Lol
So, I skipped. I later wish I had bought. Although, I'm not going back to it anymore.
