IQ is practically irrelevant and I have a very high score - tested by Mensa in a classroom.
It is just a score used to highlight a persons ability to think logically in a number of different areas of testing. Its useful for very little other than boasting and belittling others!
What I have noticed with high IQ types is their inability to see problems holistically. This is where you see that some problems require a time line that isn't always connected but can still influence final outcomes.

I happen to know a few weird brainiacs. They process information like a machine, analyse complex scientific problems but it's almost impossible to have a normal conversation with them. Imagine a guy who can hack into your pc but can't explain how he did it because of poor vocabulary. I've never been formally tested but i think my IQ is pretty high because of the things my college professors used to say to me. I had one professor tell me that, "only in America is it possible for someone of your caliber to graduate from an institution of higher education." Then he asked me how much money my parents donated to the university.
Same here, but I know I have a high IQ because my parents told me what a clever little boy I was continually as I child, so I must be special.
