well it's affecting my ability to transfer funds from my wallet to my poker wallet on this bitcoin gambling site I use... is there a chance that a .0075 transaction will be stuck forever??

No..
Transactions either get confirmed in a matter of max a week (heard of a few taking even longer) or they will get dropped from the mempool and it will look like you never tried to send the coins.

You can either try and use an accelerator like viabtc (if you find a spot) or try to send the transaction again with a higher fee as I suggested.

The higher fee transaction will get through the current one will get dropped as being invalid.

In my experience the longest transaction that i ever made was 2 days even though i paid recommended fee, i ever saw a guy where his transaction stucked almost 8 days since he paid unsufficient fee. The point is if you want to get confirmed fast please pay higher fee than recommended fee since the higher fee you provide the faster confirmation you get. On the other hand some people prefer to pay less fee cause he won't spend too much satoshi only for a fee, i think it's ok if you're not in a hurry.

it's almost been 24 hours for me, sent through armory to betcoin.. says STILL pending. I used the usual fee that armory recommends.

Well you need to adopt because the delayed confirmations have become a part of us and the Bitcoin community has no alternative as at yet so until a proper solution is found I will advice you to be patient and take things calmly.

Dump it!!!
The longest time I had to wait was about 3 days and that was the same time everybody adopted the 1 confirmation protocol after the blockchain was  hit with transaction malleability attacks

does the type of wallet really matter when it comes to sending out your bitcoins??? I know most people denounce blockchain.info wallet for its low fee suggestions... aslo being the cause of some delayed confirmations

this is status tracker right here and i only remember sending .0075 ...... the 3.68 USD looks like it went back into my wallet
Current transactions need to use a larger cost than usual, I believe this problem will not be long we experience and every day very bitcoin transactions

The unconfirmed transaction in blockchain is only about 58K which is way lower when there was a spam attack and yet the fee is still high. This is because most of the users are already used to paying high fees. The fee should go down if all the users start paying lower fees when unconfirmed tx are lower.

The number of transactions might be smaller but you should take a look at the size of it.
The tx have dropped from 200k to currently 65k but the size of the mempoool has dropped only from 100M to 70M.

People and services are combining their payments it seems

is there any way i can just cancel this transaction? reason i'm asking is because i like to bet online and it doesnt let me transfer form my main account to poker account while a pending transaction still going through

Send the transaction again with a bigger fee.
It will get confirmed and the other will just get dropped.

The longest time Ive encountered so far to confirm the transactions is 72hrs. Imagine it took 3days to confirm the transactions. Im hoping this will solved the issue as soon as possible.

We are going through a tough period now, with all of the spam attacks and the scaling problems because of that. We will just have to push

through this BS and hope things will be a bit better after the 1st of Aug 2017, when the first phase of the scaling solution are put into place. The

harm that are being done by this situation that are being created by selfish people are not clear, but I think it is significant enough to stall our

progress going forward.  Angry

You paid 38.76 sat/B for this... what do you expect?
Check http://bitcoinfees.21.co/ your transaction is right now among 16k others with the same small fee.. and below thousands of others with a lot higher fees per byte.

There are chances you transaction might be even dropped and the amount will appear back in your wallet.

I have known someone that takes 1 week and his transaction was not confirmed then it just return to his wallet so don't worry that much, all you need to do is wait then make another transaction again but try to add higher fee so it would be confirm immediately,

Longest in my case is 12 hours. I always use the highest recommended fee to avoid ny transaction being stuck. I've seen some people took longer than a week to get their transactions confirmed. To avoid these cases you should consider the fee you use first specially these days.
