There are many reasons why your post can be deleted. It can be an off topic post or a non sensible post. When a lot of people will report your post, then it will be deleted by the mods.
If you still think your post was on topic but still deleted, you can take up the matter with admins or write more details about it.

Several years I’m sure. It has only been the last few months where I’m certain every post I make gets reported by trolls doing whatever they can to be an annoyance.

I don't remember when my post was deleted but after seeing your thread i made the visit to my messages and find it was deleted about 2 months ago on February 09, 2020.

My last deleted post was quite long time ago - it was on 2nd September 2019. And there probably was even 1 year period without deleted posts. I don't have many posts deleted - I just found 8 notifications about deleted posts and few of them come from self-moderated topics.

i couldn't find my deleted posts by mods which i'm sure they exist but in the past year i've had 2 posts deleted in self-moderated topics by the starter. the most recent one was my reply to a FUDster in speculation board who deleted my comment after i called him out Cheesy

and the other one was in BurtW's science fair project topic which he said beforehand that he was trying to keep the topic clean so he quoted everything and deleted them later.

P.S. i think this topic is better suited for off-topic not meta board.

A lot of posts were deleted on April 1, 2020 in two self-moderated threads by the topic starter for a reason that makes it completely different from DdmrDdmr's deleted post.

A lot of us don't have many posts delted, I've probably had about 8-20 only deleted since I've been here for the past 4 and a bit years. Longest going without was probably 6 months to a year where I forgot mods could still delete posts until I found one that was deleted...

I tend to delete the deleted messages PMs so can't fully remember but it's usually several months between them. I'm a good little forum robot, yes sir.

However if we're talking self moderated deletions then I tend to get a blizzard of them when they get poked for the reason they created a self moderated thread.

If your post get deleted and you don't receive any message regarding the deletion, it means that your post hasn't directly been deleted. The topic you posted in has likely been trashed.

It's a little more than 3 months. On January 04, 2020, I got one of my post deleted. It was a response with emoji only to Hhampuz which I knew that will be deleted.
If I check my deleted post history, it won't be quite big if I don't count deleted post like "bump". None of my actual post have been deleted within last 7/8 months I guess.

Made it a whole year so far, according to my inbox. Last one was March 26, 2019. Still a bit disappointed about that one since it was a pretty epic counter-troll slapdown. But it was the Development and Technical board, so it's probably better the troll posts are removed without trace, along with any replies quoting them.

The last I can check by going through my most recent PMs is about 2 months and 10 days. It was my current run, before I had a couple of posts deleted on the gambling discussion board.

I should probably have a longer period if I check back long enough, but I went through a period of inactive sometime last year so cannot factor that in.
