Well, if you're using bitcoin as a currency you ought to be ecstatic that it's hit $60k, because you can buy a hell of a lot more with it than you could at this same time last year (assuming you're holding the same amount, of course).
And where can you spend it? Plenty of places, though you can't pay for things like rent, mortgage, taxes, and some other common expenses. But if you're looking for anything computer-related, Newegg accepts bitcoin. Overstock.com also takes it, and they sell pretty much anything you need. If you want to buy precious metals, there's APMEX, JM Bullion, and Provident Metals. So it's not like there's no where to spend bitcoin if you have it (and want to spend it, which I find crazy).
It looks like 70k is the next thing after we pass 60
True, obviously, and if and when bitcoin hits $70k I'm going to start to get the feeling that $100k is well within reach. And we're so close already.
