There has been lot of interest for #solana meme coins off late.

There's much discussion surrounding the current memecoin season. We've witnessed all the usual aspects of a crypto memecoin season: from speculative trading to numerous project launches and presales, along with a flurry of airdrops. Presently, speculative trading and presales are at the forefront. While airdrops like JUP and Wen have come and gone. We’ve even seen bigger projects like bitget introduce their own airdrop/ rewards programs with prizes for various activities such as registration, spot trading, and completing futures trading tasks.

At this point, we've experienced a wide range of events so far and comparing the current scenario to what I recall from the bullish market of 2021, it seems like we have encountered all that a memecoin cycle can offer. Consequently, I anticipate a direct transition to altcoin season. Any thoughts on this prediction? Or how much longer do you think this will last?

I agree and I don’t think it’s all temporary. Solana will probably be one of only a few altcoins to continue on its upward momentum because in my opinion, they have gone past the hype cycle and are launching and establishing projects that are very innovative and useful to a lot of investors. We can’t say the same for other memecoins, though. Lots of people are seeing more utility in latest memecoins so maybe that will change the playing field a little bit.

Usually, the transition to the altcoin season occurs after losing hope for a continuous rise in Bitcoin, and then money flows to speculate in some altcoins due to the ease of pumping the price.
In the current period, there has been no clear transition to altcoin except in SOL, due to Bitcoin reaching unusual levels, and therefore many speculators did not know whether the price of Bitcoin would stop rising or not.

I do not expect any actual pumping of the TOP 100 altcoin prices to occur until after 4-7 months, and until then there will be a PUMP/DUMP.

The SOL ecosystem is attracting attention through memecoins, a series of projects appearing on the chain reaching mc > $1b.

While this has never been my priority in this space, I agree that when you're willing to accept things, there's no need to overcomplicate them.

Previously, we have seen famous memecoins like Shib, Pepe,... they operate ERC20 and also bring many effects. But in the coming years, users will favor accessible cryptocurrencies when staking is no longer bothering with transaction fees and poor speeds.

There's a chance of seeing new meme coins reaching the peaks which are unexpected. I believe in this cycle those high peaking meme coins could be the ones that are based of Solana blockchain. However, the market has still not seen the best performing meme-coin of this bull run so we will have to wait for it.

Not only meme coins but there could be a few alt-coins that may also reach huge peaks this bull run. We don't yet know those alt-coins or the meme-coins so for the moment we may only do speculation and nothing else. However, I'm sure that few of us will make good returns if we somehow pick the right ones.
