Which miner is very close in performance to Claymore miner for AMD cards? Is it SRBminer or TeamRed miner? Damn I miss Claymore 😭😭😭 that will if not be the forever best AMD miner I think

Don't miss Claymore, just use my MoreEpochs Mod of Claymore Eth Miner v15.0. I've updated Claymore miner to support up to 500 DAG epoch, fixed bugs, added several features, reduced devfee to 0.6% and updated strap driver to work with AMD drivers 20.5.1-20.12.1, so if you have 8GB Polaris GPUs you can achieve very high hashrate by using -strap and -rxboost options. You can get it from my topic, check my signature.

Can rxboost works on cards like Rx Vega 56 and 64? It's a big problem using other miners for this cards only team read miner works pretty well, can you drop link

According to Claymore's Readme!!!.txt, -rxboost can be used only with Polaris (and some old cards like Hawai,..) GPUs. You can still try to use -strap option. Link to my topic is in my signature under my posts.

Help, I have Vega 56 sapphire and I can achieve 58MH but not stable, it keeps crashing over and over until I increase RCDRD to 19-20 but I can't increase memory clock more than 900 too what am I doing wrong ?

58 MH/s is crazy high Hashrate.
the max stable hashrate I have witnessed id 54-56 MH/s
Everything over 52 is sillicon lottery

TeamRed miner is the best for me, I tried SRBminer and NBminer then I lost significant amount of hashrate using RX Vega 56 cards, I instantly went back to team red miner..

Teamred         SRbminer       NBminer
    46MH               36MH               36MH with DAG error
That is pretty low for a Vega

With TeamRedMiner and proper timing (amdmemtweak), my Vega can achieve 50 to 54 MH/s (but I keep them @50 to be less power hungry)

amdmemtweak --gpu 0,3,6 --ras 26 --rcdrd 13 --rcdwr 12 --rc 38 --rp 12 --rrds 3 --rrdl 5 --rtp 6 --faw 12 -- cwl 8 --wtrs 4 --wtrl 9 --wr 13 --ref 24000 --rfc 239
amdmemtweak --gpu 1,2,4,5 --cl 18 --ras 23 --rcdrd 13 --rcdwr 11 --rc 34 --rp 13 --rrds 3 --rrdl 4 --rtp 6 --faw 12 --cwl 7 --wtrs 4 --wtrl 4 --wr 11  --rfc 164 --REF 17000

And after testing a lot of miners for AMD.
If the rig is AMD only, TeamRedMiner is awesome.
If you have to mix AMD / NVidia then lolminer is great especially with Nvidia LHR cards

I think it all depends on what we want to achieve.I see no one is mentioning here lolminer and although it is not only AMD miner I think it is one of the most stable ones.I have a few friends running it on HiveOs mining Ethereum Classic with Rx 580 cards and it is running stable from quite a few months.

TeamRed wins for me, I've used Claymore miner in the past which was my best in terms of memory management on GPU and performance, Claymore is the legendary winner but it's no more, the best option left is TeamRed miner, not all miners understand how AMD memory works like the HBM2 for example, it's either you end up with low hashrate or you get a crash but TeamRed miner just works better

teamred is the best i ever try in recent year, is stable, real profit, i meant same as calculated on pool,

real hashrate, minus no guide for remote monitoring, isnt simple as srbminer for remote feature

I got one of those bit more unstable Vega 56 cards with Hynix Mem, i am a team Green guy but decided to give this a go. I am mining through nicehash using srbminer, and I am getting just over 43mh/s. Ihave to use AMD Pro drivers to keep this card from going bonkers, and I aplied some mem tweaks via amdmemtweak. And its currently at $3.11 per day. Temps are good and power is at 207watt. Not an expert with amd but its good enough I guess.
I have this card presently (Vega 56 hynix) and I can give you every details you need to get the best out of the card, though I couldn't achieve 50MH yet, my max is 46MH

1. Forget Windows OS, they sucks for this card
2. Hynix memory is very bad for overclocking especially the Vega 56 hynix
3. Download hiveOS instead and applying the following settings

Core clock 950
Core Voltage MV 835
Memory clock MHZ 900

Turn on the aggressive undervolting
Add this tweak and apply

amdmemtweak --cl 18 --ras 23 --rcdrd 19 --rcdwr 11 --rc 34 --rp 13 --rrds 3 --rrdl 4 --rtp 6 --faw 12 --cwl 7 --wtrs 4 --wtrl 4 --wr 11 --rfc 164 --REF 15600

This will draw just 103 watt and give you 46-47MH, thank me later

you were doing something very wrong with SRBMiner. On ethash TRM isnt so much better.
I guess not everyone knows how to use srbminer very well with AMD GPUs, I knew that miner has some badass tweaking for AMD cards, if you got any just drop here so we can learn from you @doktor83

I think srbminer and teamred miner has better performance for old AMD cards like Vega 56 and 64 but not so sure about the RX6700 and others, it's just best to try them out one after the other including phoenix miner and choose the one that works best for you

I used vega 64 sometime back for mining and I have to say that hashrate is better with PhoenixMiner ... but that was long time ago and maybe now teamredminer have improved themselves Smiley

PhoenixMiner in my opinion is best for amd card ... I use it for 6900xt ... hashrate is the best, it is not the most efficient one but it not off by far

Claymore was the first miner and the most famous. A miner similar to it is a phoenix miner. I use it for old 480-580 amd cards.
For new ones, I like TeamRed miner more, according to my observations, it works more stable.
But there is no big difference between miners, more losses are usually due to equipment downtime

I'm not a fan of SRBminer but it's better to test them out, you can get better performance on one over the other, I used TeamRed miner for my Vega GPUs because of the amdmemtweak available which works perfectly, I'm not sure that SRBminer has this feature

amdmemtweak is not a miner feature, it is a separate/external software. That  means you can use it with any miner.
SRBMiner has this feature built-in, so no need for amdmemtweak.
