But for those who want to use bitcoin as a place to get a profit
Idk what did you mean by profit, online wallet usually used just for storing coin for short time and then they will send again to another wallet.

online wallet like coinbase, localbitcoin or another exchange.
Site that you mentioned are better called "Exchange" instead of online wallet, read Coinbase is not a wallet.

A wallet depends on someone who chooses it. For those who have a high level of risk and secure all of their assets from theft, then they will store them in their own place, such as the third desktop wallet, hardware wallet or paper wallet. These methods are indeed effective for safeguarding bitcoin. But for those who want to use bitcoin as a place to get a profit they will choose an online wallet like coinbase, localbitcoin or another exchange. Both functions of a wallet depend on the user's needs.

I count Blockchain.info pretty trustworthy wallet, I satisfied with its work for about 2,5 years already, since I joined crypto currencies. I never had any problem with that, so I can say I'm satisfied with it totally.
Actually bolckchain.info wallet have lot of minor bugs in their app because many time I can't see an upcoming transaction and bitcoins after received,it will show only later this kind of property can take this away from best wallet but it is one of the trusted wallet when we compare to the other online wallets because they are giving private keys as well, but I suggest you to never store more than one bitcoins on any online wallet.

Literally those you said were not wallets, they were online wallet so which is not much trustable because we don't control the private keys.So the hardware wallets are considered as most trusted when compared to other kind of wallets but it will cost a little bit or electrum maybe trusted enough when we compare coinbase.
Agreed on this, definitely yes online wallet is not a wallet I used these wallets if I'm going to convert my bitcoin into cash but it is not intended for storing for in a long-term for your bitcoin. I have trezor a hardware wallet much safer than these online web wallets. Here in our country, there is a wallet that is very convenient to use and easy to convert a cash you can also easily trade your coins into selected coins like ETH and BCH. But I never hold my bitcoin into this wallet because they are the one who held my private key.

Without private key how Coinbase can become a trusted wallet near to you?
You can access coinbase everywhere as long as you have internet connection. But with this word, this contradicts your whole statement for saying that coinbase is a safe wallet. You can say that it is safe because it's a legit company.

I know coinbase is a trusted exchange site but as a wallet it is safe!! I believe that as a wallet, coinbase is not good at all. Without private key how Coinbase can become a trusted wallet near to you?
Localbitcoin is also a popular site for P2P exchange but as a wallet, I would never suggest you use this site. Use a wallet that provides you with a private key for your wallet.
I bet you that dude doesn't have a clue what a private key is. This is the case with everybody who got into bitcoin because they thought there's a new clown in the town who doubles your money over-night. There are also the people who suffer the most when an exchange is hacked. Notice how only wallets he is aware of are exchanges.

For everybody else, don't be the OP, use wallets that gave you access to your private keys.

I believe electrum, Coinomi bitcoincore and mycelium are the wallet much safer to have your funds.

In this list some of the wallets about find in android and in appstore too. Take the choice upon your convenient but mostly you can see the wallet on Windows version normally. Please check the good one and have the funds at there.

The most common wallet that I could trust previously was myetherwallet and you only need to keep the private keys at safer storage. Don't get it exposed online, because it may spread and the possibility of being hack is always there. I haven't yet tried using windows wallet, maybe I could use that someday for trials in order to test its capabilities. Am afraid that one day my pc crash, and I wouldn't be able to recover the funds that I had. You're right there's an app wallet that's also legit, just like eido wallet which I personally used 6 months ago until now. It's been securely having seed access keys prior logging in to the funds that you have, so it's a perfect wallet app for me to use.

Same question on my mind too on how a certain Sr. Member of this forum didnt even know about Coinbase and Localbitcoins. Seriously? which this isnt even a wallet.
Just basing on the age of the account we can really say that he do have the right or sufficient knowledge even just talking about wallets unless if this isnt his own account. Cheesy
Account age and rank doesn't say anything in times where account sales (not saying OPs account is bought) are as normal as people farting in public. It's frowned upon by most people, but it happens silently.

Among the choices i cant consider coinbase as a safe wallet yet this is an exchange wallet after all which is totally different from electrum or any web-based wallets which you can possess the private keys.
Most noobs always prefer convenience over security. Binance is the perfect example of how it stimulates people to not withdraw anything because of all the free coin rain it allows them to obtain effortlessly.

This whole industry mainly consists of messed up people only valuing their profits, where they totally discard any form of security or decentralization. Let them do whatever they want. It's their money they are risking, not ours.
Completely agree on the things you do said. Its not really our money but it do really suck to look up some people doesnt really care at all about security which it pisses me off when they do cry when they do lose up money and realizing that its too late already. It had been said for a how many times or thousands already about wallet security and differences between those wallets but most of them do neglect it.
We cant really avoid to engage ourselves into things where we do feel comfortable and less hassle but we should always look up on how to secure ourselves anytime.

Never tried hardware wallet, is it linked to a website I do not know how even that works ... same like paper wallets ?

I saw they sell online PVC wallets ... yeah it's like credit card. but not sure as someone else might have a copy of it, do not you think?

For someone who has an account as old as yours, where have you been? Held hostage in Beirut?

Coinbase controls your keys. Localbitcoins controls your keys and is not a wallet. Almost anywhere else is better than those two.

Buying a pre made paper wallet is pure suicide. Making your own is free and can be ultra secure if done right.

Hardware wallets keep your private keys isolated from the internet. Their online interfaces allow you to sign with the keys without exposing them.

"STAY IN THE DARK"
What's the best cryptocurrency wallet that you can trust?
Most trustable crypto currency wallets are their official wallets of each coins all other wallets were less trustable than their official wallet. Now most people preferring hardware wallets because we can store multiple currencies with much safer for long time.

True .. I know but the thing is we can't all download all the client for example bitcoin or litecoin, too much data and need hard drive sizes are bandwidth is much time, do not you agree?

Yes downloading the core wallet needs high spec system so it is not suitable for everyone and it will disturb the basic quality of cryto currencies that we can send and receive it from anywhere. For now I am using electrum but it is not 100% secured nor any,I never faced any problems yet.But if you are looking for multi coin wallet the hardware wallets are the best option for you.

I am using multiple wallets, electrum, coinomi and exodus but I think the safest
And trustworthy of all is the paper wallet.

Like everything security is key and there are many things to consider even for
paper wallets, like storage and renembering passwords and these all play a
part is contributing to the safety of any wallet.

I currently using electrum and i trust it, since i don't have problem with electrum. I use exodus too for storing some altcoin.
For mobile, i use mycelium and coinomi for altcoin and i really trust them. However, i want to move to hardware wallet for better security, if i can.
