The truth is that no one use that altcoins at all. They have zero presence and are only used as poor man's speculative tool.
I wish every altcoin with low market cap, low impact and cloned features just die on its own.

I don't know most of those coins, but what I can say is that Groestlcoin (GRS), that I know, is far from being a scam. If you find it on Dwarfpool, that means that it is quite a qualitative coin.

I Saw this notice a couple of nights ago:
On 9/5/2016, the following markets will be delisted: ABY, ADN, BITUSD, CNMT, DAO, DSH, FIBRE, FLT, GAP, GRS, HYP, IFC, LQD, MCN, MINT, MMC, MNTA, PIGGY, PTS, SILK, SWARM, WDC, XC, XCR, XPB, XUSD, YACC.
What will happened with those coins? Some are being traded in other exchanges while many of those are only traded in poloniex, so are they getting delisted because they are easy target for pump and dump or because pretty much they are dead? I mean one leads to the other one, usually when they are dead they pump it with no reason and people fall in the trap like FIBRE SWARM and MCN lately.
Reason why this is coin will be delisted is volume traded so low, if developer dont have improve or new innovation about their coin make affected with volume trading their coin, no reason people want to keep coin if not future, but sometimes if this coin removed from another exchange want to added the coin but if no other exchange listed this coin will be dead

I am holding few of the mentioned coins, but the value is small. So it there any way to trade these coins?

Go to http://coinmarketcap.com
Click on the coin,
Then click on Markets and it should show a list of any other exchanges that has trading for that coin.
Sign up with the other exchange and trade away.  Smiley

If no other exchanges are listed , go to their announcements, and leave a post asking if they have any other exchanges.

 Cool

One possibility is dead. The other one is listing on the lower-level exchanges, like bittrex, bter and so forth. Coins can be also successful on bittrex actually. Like steem and lbry were pumped from bittrex, and then moved to poloniex.

For all we know, Poloniex will be like wait... not delisted for some of the coins.

I wish exchanges were more open about what would mean a coin get delisted.

Traders and exchanges are there for profit. They don't like a coin, because that can hurt the profit.
Delisting a coin means freeing some resources and opening more room for other currencies to pay their way into the exchanges.
New coins usually means pump and dump and a boost in fees (income). It's good for business.

I doubt exchanges will ever be "more open about what would mean a coin get delisted", sorry.

yeah i read this news too. i think poloniex will add other coins that can give them more profit. some of that coins will not use in any of market, some them still use in small market exchange like aby, adn, gap, grs, hyp. for complete list, you can visit on coinmarketcap.com and write the coin, then click on markets, and in there you can see the market of the coins.

i think when the date is almost end, pump and dump will be happen but for short time, because there are not have much time to still play pump and dump.

The only one I know anything about in there is DAO so I guess those coins are all in the same boat.

I don't know what any of these garbage shitcoins even are.  Poloniex is right in delisting them, because I doubt anyone is mining any of them, or trading any of them, and I am 99.9999% sure that none will ever or ever did get used in commerce.  They exist(ed) just to exist, and that's a horrible reason.  Don't mourn for them, that's my advice.  Let 'em go.

Some of those coins can still have a good future in little known exchanges, but they cannot match the massive trading volume that Polo can offer.

Not sure why they put MINT on the list. Makes no sense. It's been a top 100 coin for years and with a lot of volume often in tens of thousands. At least MINT is tradable on other exchanges. I feel bad for those who with coins that have no other exchange. I think Poloniex is being very unprofessional about this. No warning given and no answer or reason.

No kidding. Why the hell would they remove Mint? Removing a coin is a death blow and Mint does not deserve that. I don't know much about the others but I suspect they made a fortune on a few of them.

Poloniex needs to revisit their delisting policies. That's one thing I always hated about Bittrex and Ccex, therefore, quit trading with them.

I am surprised by the volumes, I expected something about 10x smaller.

I can't speak for other coins, but for FIBRE one possible reason is that there can pass entire days with no new blocks at all. And when it becomes usual to have transactions stuck for days or weeks..... Unfortunately for that coin, not long ago Bittrex also delisted it...
