Will disappear the money as we know it? There are many news about companies who already accept BTC. This revolutionary currency is growing and it does thanks to the trust of users. But.. are this digital currencies the future of money?  Huh Huh

Why don't people don't understand the acceptance of bitcoin by big companies is just to ease their costumers. There is no way the money would disappear and neither bitcoin would replace fiats these all are just speculations

It depends on demographics - age, geography, ubiquity of technology, ease of use. It is not entirely inconceivable that people will gravitate entirely to other forms of payment. A younger generation completely dependent on mobile phones and portable devices or tech savvy developing countries could find digital currency like bitcoin the preferred choice. If you go to the Smithsonian museum, they have a section on the evolution of money. Money changes over time like it changes hands.

If you are thinking that bitcoin will replace the use of money, then you are wrong bro. Money will be there as long as you and I is alive.

Paper money will disappeear for sure... It's so sad. I would like to make it rain sometimes...

You can do that very cheaply with currencies that hyper inflated, like the Zimbabwean dollar, or the Belarusian ruble Smiley

People are going crazy over bitcoins. I don't see any physical money replacement in next 50 years atleast.

50 years honestly is a bit short. Maybe for another 100 years I see the next currency take over. But not in 50 years.

Dollar is going to collapse and a totally new currency is going to be created.

I don't know if bitcoin will be of any use by then.

Why not? Bitcoin is superior to the USD in many aspects. And we don't need to wait for the USD to collapse to widely use it.

If the government gets a hold of a new currency/cryptocurrency that is easy to use and obtain then bitcoin would be dust because the government knows how to promote it better and people would start holding more.

I think Bitcoin is just the start of things

Edit: bitcoin won't be dust but it may have some value if people learn to hold then trade/sell

A government crypto currency wouldn't be like a decentralized one. That's a really big problem. Supply could easily be increased as they wish, as with fiat money. Money has to be choosen in the free market, voluntarily, not imposed by anyone.

Disappear is a big word. Money has been there for, what, 500 years? Third world country uses money but doesnt even know about BTC. Maybe if poverty will be defeated and everyone in the world uses the internet, it might be possible. But that will be far too long to even think about it.

Yes I think that bitcoin will replace FIAT all over the world, but it's code should be improved again and again.
Bitcoin can not replace fiat no matter how we try.

quite agree,BTC is just an auxiliary payment tool.

Yes I think that bitcoin will replace FIAT all over the world, but it's code should be improved again and again.
But I don't think It will replace FIAT,Never.Only bitcoin adopters in their world they would see BTC replace the FIAT not knowing that the world is not just what they see and believe to be.It's vast and it's not even possible for BTC to replace 10% of worlds FIAT
I agree that bitcoin will likely never end up outright replacing fiat, but I think it could certainly supplement it.

I would not discount it replacing most fiat based transactions that occur over the internet, especially with "trusted" sellers.
