"didnt Bitcoin go bankrupt" is the classic one the last few days...
My SO has banned me from buying bitcoin. I watched bitcoin go down to $425 / BTC on coinbase briefly a couple days ago, but I was unable to take advantage of it. My SO has declared, "Bidcoin is just a ponzi scheme cooked up by nerds. If you buy any bidcoin, I will break up with you. I don't sleep with nerds." 
So, I called up my "nerd" buddy and told about the low price, he bought in and now is sitting on a 30% profit. He made $3000 in less than 48 hours (he bought at $450/BTC, it's now $585 on Winkdex). My "nerd" buddy bought me a beer. At least I got a beer out of it.
(I have to look at it from the bright side)

I don't know the dumbest comment about Bitcoin I've ever read. There were some great ones from naysayers in late 2011, and some of the "pirate@40 is legit because ..." comments cracked me up.

No, it could be sarcasm, someone else could of put it there and I haven't bothered to take it off, or better yet I realized Putin's flaws and decided to turn against him. There could be multitude of reasons as to why I have a bitcoin tip address in my signature.

PS - if you don't pay your taxes you are also a cheap asshole and not contributing your fair share to maintain and defend your country.
come on ,the defence budget is in the trillions and more money will be wasted on wars and developing new weapons than healthcare for the old or education for the young
if taxes went directly into schools and hospitals i could see a moral ground for paying them ......but not for wars ,sorry
defence budget should be called the attack budget in reality because all they use it for is to attack weaker countries who are too far away from the states to do any damage anyway ........
