Sharecoin, it's totally a scam.

I still have $150 worth of sharecoins that are now worthless. I should have dumped them when I had the chance.

I lost some money on sharexcoin.com.
This dev has stolen everything we put on this exchange.

I lost 10+ Btc in COIN2 but no worries because that loss never make me hard feelings, I got 30+ btc from same coin and lost 10 at the last moment when it crashed again and again.

So you did not lose 10 BTC in COIN2. You made 20 BTC from it.  Cheesy

Wow, some people don't invest but they gamble..
Why did you guys put your money in this (shit)coins?

Because ultimately I made more money than I lost, I wouldn't touch this market at the moment though. I like my capital too much.

You're a little late asking this since Gox. Most of the people that lost a lot are gone. But due to security issues I lost about 200 BTC.
200 BTC is quite a fair sum. What security issues caused the loss?
Mostly key management, but I'm at a loss for much of it. I brought these issues to the attention of the devs and they added safeguards for future loss prevention. That's why I'm still helping fight FUD and not divested.
Was this with BTC or another currency out of curiosity?
I never fiddled much with anything other than Bitcoin. I lost a bunch because I started a brainwallet type trivia game and imported one of the private keys into a hotwallet. Another was an issue with how I used BIP38. Others were related to backups and possibly a stolen laptop. What I have left is hopefully well secured.

Loss is such a tought teacher. I've started being paranoid since the day I risked to lose 1000DRK for security issues.

the ones that lost the most aren't here anymore ...

remember syscoin ipo?
Auroracoin?
... and many others ...

ethereum will create some of the biggest losses i believe.

people have lost hundreds of millions if not billions in altcoins (and in bitcoin too)

I will be kicking myself if ethereum moons, but I was put off buying by the sheer amount of money people were throwing at it.

It's tough to lose money once you learn how to average down efficiently

WTF would you know, you just make a new coin noob.

I could launch 20 this weekend if you want? Believe it or not, I do know how to trade well, even on other coins  Wink
