I see that a lot of credit / debit cards for bitcoin and altcoin funds have been launched on the card, I've seen it on several sites, but I don't know how to use it, it's still vague, but if there is, I don't think it's necessary, because anything related to The card should be in the form of a card does not have to be digital, if there must be a digital credit card similar to other crypto currencies, it is also impossible that cardcoin sounds strange

The next blockchain innovation should be one that streamlines transactions and makes it easier and more efficient for everyday payment. The Lightning Network is one of such innovations and in a few years, I believe it would be adopted massively when the majority fully understand it and how it functions.
A digital credit card, in my opinion, would come with too many privacy issues, as it has to be centralized, and users would need to trust a certain service or institution.

Is there a digital credit card? Whats the next innovation that will spark huge growth?

I am wondering on how it was supposed to work though. Because it is already digital, doesn't it? More like a digital wallet stored in a radio chip embodied by a card. Well, it might be different to what am I currently thinking but I wanna know more from that. Anyway, may be there will be more bigger innovations we will be witnessing in the future we just cannot grasp it by now.

Bitcoin = Digital Gold
Ethereum = Digital Computer
Litecoin = Digital Silver
All of this could still spark growth, considering we are still in early phase. Once the path is cleared specially regulation issues and uncertainties I think it can go bigger than we might expected.

Monero = Digital Cash
I'm uncertain of the future of privacy coins, it is hot in the eyes of the regulators. It may not exist in the next decade due to its nature, just saying.

This is my own understanding so far but I'd like your input on different cryptocurrencies and their use cases. I value your input whether good or bad.

Ethereum = Digital Computer
Litecoin = Digital Silver
Monero = Digital Cash

Is there a digital credit card? Whats the next innovation that will spark huge growth?
But what's the need of a digital credit card when we can simply make use of direct digital currency deposits without much process.
I don't even think it will be a new thing nor a welcome development as it will involve more protocols and information accessing. People are looking for what will make their life easier.

Whats the next innovation that will spark huge growth?
People who are able to predict this must be working on that rather than answering to you Wink. I mean there are plenty of chances for any kind of new innovations that could trigger another massive growth of this crypto space but find them out of this discussion but disclosing on the possibility of such a thing would be more appropriate imo.

I guess bitcoin does not need any such a thing to be happening within its ecosystem as its design itself got enough potential to trigger continuous growth and the near by upcoming such a thing is halving. Halving is once in 4 years event whereas mining difficulty is a weekly one. Yes, when more people compete for mining, prices will always fly as some set of people may choose "buying option" instead of setting up a mining farm.

Rise of bitcoin is a slow progress and it does not need any external triggers. Moreover, rising of bitcoins has been happening and we can figure that when comparing prices in bigger time spans.

Lightning isn't exactly a replacement for cheap, on-chain transactions. People are over-hyping it.
Well of course it isn't, LN is layer 2. But if we assume that LN's adoption will increase a lot in the future to the levels that people use LN for every "coffee" transactions, then we can assume that it could free up the mempool hence speeding up on-chain transactions(to an extent). Feel free to correct me.

Yeah I just question that first assumption. Of course LN should help offload some transactions off-chain, I just don't think it's going to be as important to scaling as some people think. When it comes to low value transactions, people are less likely to demand trustless, permissionless transactions at all.

I guess I'm just skeptical that BTC will become a widespread currency for low value transactions. We'll see how things play out.

Uhm request for global development of BTC? or Crypto? Like hell Crypto is developing alright but only those in the know are actually developing with it together. I'd ask for global integration of it but it still can't with how the government and banks are refusing to acknowledge its possible helpful existence. We can pretty much say that adaptation of Crypto could be easily implemented, with how the technology of the world progresses, just that the people themselves refuse to adopt it, leading to stagnation.

I didn't even hope that there was a digital credit card in crypto, it was just as centralized as banking.
With the existence of Bitcoin and Ethereum alone, I think it is enough to be applied to everyday life, for example, buying and selling goods.

Once Lightning Network adoption increases, what the heck will this coin be for? Nothing, besides being a lab rat for Bitcoin.
Lightning isn't exactly a replacement for cheap, on-chain transactions. People are over-hyping it.

Litecoin's niche as Bitcoin's "lab rat" probably ensures it will remain entrenched in the ecosystem. The next major Bitcoin upgrade (maybe Schnorr and Taproot) will make it relevant again.

LIBRA - social media token?
Since when was LIBRA made specifically for social media? Not because it's created by a social media giant(FB) it doesn't automatically mean it's made for social media specifically.

Whats the next innovation that will spark huge growth?
This isn't new but there could be a starting hype already for the exchange's lending feature like this;

https://www.binance.com/en/lending

Thats interesting. I think lending will be a huge market. 10% AR? Better than some mutual funds hahaha
I'm not a fan of mutual funds though so I should say that it's actually better but we couldn't settle the risk that it has. Although, the company is Binance you should still understand that there are underlying risks it has.

The crypto lending market have been existing for all many years but it's getting hype because of Binance having a wider user base. And they can take advantage of that which can impact the whole scene now and attract more lenders and borrowers.

I would love to see some serious lightning adoption in a wide scale of applications:

-Paying per second in pay-per-view live stream of a sport events (UFC, football, esport)
-Paying per drop of fuel at a gas station
-...
And the list goes on.

All the crazy micro payment ideas for the internet.

We can't say it for now but everyone here has their own opinion and can imagine what could be the next innovation after blockchain. I think we are still very far for that unless bitcoin finishes its throne and gone. Maybe this system will remain a hundred years and if one of the altcoins will dominate in general use-cases.

EOS - global game token?
LIBRA - social media token?
XRP - I don't know if it is possible to integrate with cards.

Digital credit card? I think its already happening since you can use your card for your online transactions as well though the security is not that high for that. The next innovations should still be on a world of blockchain technology because it is still new and blockchain still need to conquer the world. Digital currency will grow more over years, many coins will come and there will be a lot of options for us.

You are right. I think with the supply , Its similar to silver. Sure it's a testing ground for BTC , but if LN comes out , you are right , this coin won't be used as much , But this is the free market. You can use whatever you like right? If you want to use LTC , you can.

It's just another option.

Ehh I think it was just tagged as "silver to bitcoin's gold" to attract attention from investors. I don't think it would be this big if it wasn't for that tagline and if it weren't for Charlie Lee being so close and affiliated with Bitcoin people; and I definitely don't think it deserves the marketcap that it has. But yea, free markets.

/end short rant

150,000%. I think a lot of Coins don't deserve a place in the top 100.

XRP / EOS / TRON.

I've always thought that coins that don't have a pre-mine or ICO and fair distribution would do well in the market , but i think money changes everything.

Silver has all sorts of industrial uses; Litecoin is more comparable to a useless rock. I like the Monero/cash analogy though, since it has the strongest privacy and fungibility.

Smart contract lending and blockchain interoperability seem to be the next big things. Not sure what buzz words to use for them though.

I agree with the Litecoin statement but as BTC lab rat , I find that hilarious but it is true. I thought that LN is centralized , is it not?

Litecoin is silver simply because plenty of Bitcoin early adopters and today's holders have plenty of it. They got rich by Bitcoin and added a bit more with all different Bitcoin blockchain forks.  They can do whatever they want.  Buy islands or having a copy of bitcoin named a silver.

I'm so in for a Island.

Litecoin = Digital Silver

I'd like to highlight this. Don't you think the "digital silver" tagline is stupid as hell? It's almost the exact same thing with bitcoin besides, well, faster transactions(in exchange for more centralization), and a higher total supply. Once Lightning Network adoption increases, what the heck will this coin be for? Nothing, besides being a lab rat for Bitcoin.
