in december ripple price was insanely pumped by whale ,it was caused by john McAfee promotion and false rumor of coinbase adding ripple.ripple is centralised with huge token supply so i dont think we will see that same price in nearby future. though they are doing great thing showing ledger technology in payment method.

Well, for me, Ripple is the best currency ( for a long term ) which has a weak value of price ( $ 0.94) in the market but this currency is characterized by a huge value of market cap ( 37 Billion Dollars) . Furthermore, It is sure that XRP will be more profitable in the near future because many of capitalists have invested huge sums in that currency because they think it will be more successful in the future.
On the other hand, Now there are some problems in the market, so the current price of ripple is in weakness, But It is certain that this drop is temporary and XRP will go beyond all crises. In my opinion, after a few weeks (1-3), the price of ripple will rise between $ 1.50 and $ 2 but after 3-5 Months it will be more than $ 4.
In fact, there are some expectations that may be correct, which is the price of Ripple will be more than $ 1000 in 2022.
On the other hand, Now there are some problems in the market, so the current price of ripple is in weakness, But It is certain that this drop is temporary and XRP will go beyond all crises. In my opinion, after a few weeks (1-3), the price of ripple will rise between $ 1.50 and $ 2 but after 3-5 Months it will be more than $ 4.

we should know the price in the coinmarket as of now are in red hard and difficult to give prediction amount for any coins how much reach it for this year, unfortunely altcoins specially ethereum and ripple have strong standing place in the coinmarket as potentially to increase their price, just wait and calm set back and relax the price of altcoin goes pumping because i believe year 2018 is the year of alts.

No need to panic and cutloss, in the next few days xrp in the sure will rise back beyond $ 3 following the movement of bitcoin.If you want to wait, by the end of 2018 xrp can reach $ 5- & $ 10.

Even if Ripple tech succeeds in enterprise/banking use, the coin itself does not need to be used. The way I see it, Ripple's believers will hope the company will turn things around if it stays at this price for too long. That just makes this a good profit coin for the short term. Long term, these are all pure pretenders. Get ready to prove me wrong, I won't mind.

you don't know the Ripple technology so you don't trust this coin. But Ripple is one of the major role in crypto platform because it supports the banking sector so most of the investors are trust this coin. The future this will never drop in the market it is good promising coin.

Ripple is also quite good for long term investment, many people invested in ripple, specially banks or big people. Some people saying that ripple is manipulated and it is centralized. But I don't agree to them since ripple is a really quality project.

The ripple is invested only by whales from the banking sphere, which means that ordinary people have nothing to do with it. Especially there for almost 5 years they froze some of the coins issued in order to reduce the speculative aspect in the market for them and consequently there will be a slow outflow and a fall. 
if btc is 20k at the end of the spring it will go up to $ 3 again because it is sitting after a certain market value
Actually hard to predict Ripple prices, I just like you I bought Ripple when the price of $2, yes now I am losing but I didn't dare to sell it. It's not a scam coin, people just don't understand how it's used by banks, this misunderstanding has created crazy hype and has made this coin highly overpriced.
For the average joe like us, Ripple is a pretty poor coin, offers nothing tech wise.
