I may not bea tech savvy person but I can say, I contribute in every little way I can.  I promote Bitcoin to my family, friends and even people that i just met.  I don't know but maybe they think of me as a crazy person since all I can see is all confusion in the expression of their face.  But well that was during the first time I introduce Bitcoin to them.  Giving them links to those sites that explain bitcoin well and guiding them to install their Bitcoin wallet. Maybe that is not as huge as other contribution but well am happy to be not the only one who uses bitcoin in our area anymore Grin

I've done the same thing for a while now. Promoting bitcoin to friends and family and so on.
Half of my friends are now already in bitcoin. Meaning they hold bitcoin and to some extent they even use bitcoin.

Great to hear that, start with the first around you: your friends & family. If you cant convince them, then you will have really hard time convincing strangers. Or maybe not, who knows. The point is that bitcoin is a bottom up community, and everyone has to take part, even if the contribution is small!
Involving friends and family in bitcoin is without doubts a best idea. But you should make sure they are earning too.
You are the one who is helping them for earning. This is also a way to make people self dependent.

Just give them my tutorial, it should help them get started in bitcoin. I hope more people can convince their friends, but atleast convince their family.

If you endorse bitcoin in front of them, they might be less repelled by it than if they read a demonizing mainstream article. They will know that by supporting bitcoin they will support you too, so by trashing bitcoin they would know that would make you feel bad.

Can't say I really have one other than advocating the use of those who I know the use of cryptocurrencies and introducing them to the ideas and potential they hold.

I've asked about bitcoin to my friends and they say it doesn't have any potential at all, those who didn't know about bitcoin also said its without any potential..

Still, not giving up spreading the word is what makes this currency grow in the first place I believe, telling one person can make quite a big circle of interest and thus make BTC grow

I created a way to do trustless, not trust-free trade, for labor called Rein. Apparently not many people care about this but I think it is a killer app for bitcoiners if not Bitcoin so I worked and work on it. http://reinproject.org <--- we could use some Bitcoin contributing job creators to reach our goal of 12.5 jobs posted by the halving.

That is really interestng, i have heard about it, but i havent seen many people using it. Maybe it needs a better advertising so that people can join.

Try posting it to /btc see how many people join. It would be nice if labour can become p2p via bitcoin.

Yes that is good, it's more organic if bitcoin gets promoted face2face or by long conversations, rather than some ad banner on some website.

Because then if they trust you, they will trust bitcoin too. I think the community promotion approach is very important, more people should promote bitcoin this way.

The following is an extension of my project as a contribution to the cryptocurrency space: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/yutubopois-quickening-the-castle-yqtc-crypto-based-reality-show-concept-1514760

Maybe it's time for me to change my sig given I've fucked with Leroy Fodor enough, that being my other contribution to the space. HAHAHA

Richfund provides three services that we believe are helping to advance bitcoin adoption: 1) market-making for exchanges to help exchanges develop and get new users, 2) automated arbitrage to help reduce price volatility for merchant adoption, and 3) OTC trading by offering competitive rate (bitfinex +/-2%) to help otc traders scale up their trading volume.

I've brought back the first Bitcoin Crowdfunding platform back online ( albeit in beta test mode ) at the moment.  Hoping to help people get their projects up and going via it.

Yes that was a nice website, i wondered what happened to it. I think crowdfunding for bitcoin is beneficial because it can help many small businesses to get some start capital.

Upon reading b's post, I spent no less than half hour [re]exploring his site. It wasn't till reading your reply that something sparked, envisioning taking BitcoinStarter to a whole new level.
